Gloden Globe Nomination for True Blood

The Golden Globe nominations were announced in Los Angeles this morning. “True Blood” has been nominated for Best Television Drama. It will compete against Dexter, House, In Treatment, and Mad Men. Anna Paquin has also been nominated for Best Actress in a Television Drama Seriees for her work on “True Blood. She will have to compete against Sally Field, Brothers & Sisters, Mariska Hargitay, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, January Jones, Mad Men, and Kyra Sedgwick, The Closer. Where is Fangtasia Filmed?

Have you ever wondered where the vampire bar, Fangtasia in “True Blood” is filmed. Apparently it is not film in a studio but in an actual bar in Los Angeles. 2009 Writers Guild Awards Nominate True Blood

Nelsan Ellis Talk About His Character on True Blood

While attending the Junior Hollywood Radio & Television Society holiday party in Hollywood, Nelson Ellis took the time to talk to reporters about his character and what is in store for him in Season 2 of True Blood. His character has become very popular with fans on the internet, however, Nelson explains his father has a different opinion. “Tell my father that,” he joked, “because he hates my character!
