True Blood Season 7 – Latest Teaser Video Clip! #TrueBloodForever

April 21, 2014

Sookie Stackhouse Predicts Impending Doom for Season 7:

Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) predicts impending doom in HBO's True Blood Season 7 #truebloodforeverWith only 62 days until the premiere episode of the very last season of True Blood – here is the latest teaser for us to pore over until HBO’s True Blood Season 7 returns for the very last time.

There are plenty of new tidbits to be gleaned from this short 35 second teaser video:

  • There is an attack on the church. This is voiced by what sounds like Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and we can assume it is the same church we saw Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) give his speech in the final episode of True Blood Season 6
  • We can see plenty of vampires feasting – one of which looks like one of the infected vampires we saw at the very end of  Season 6’s Episode 10. So we can probably assume the church is attacked by Hep V infected vampires
  • Violet Mazurski (Karolina Wydra) has her fangs out and is throwing wooden stakes
  • There is a freezer filled with what appears to be humans. A strange man opens the freezer door – but is that Sookie behind him? Who is this new character ? And why do all the people in the freezer appear to have puncture wounds?
  • Sookie claims the government is leaving everyone for dead. Is it just me, or does this still sound like a vampires vs. zombies thing? There is a decidedly apocalyptic feel to this teaser video!
  • Sookie and Jessica Hamby (Deborah Ann Woll) watch on in shock as a man throws someone to the ground
  • Sookie tells us that the town is turning on each other – and then we see Hoyt’s mother Maxine Fortenberry (Dale Raoul) pulling a gun on someone else
  • The clip ends with Sam, Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten), Sookie, Alcide Herveaux (Joe Manganiello) and Sheriff Andy Bellefleur (Chris Bauer) all in a row. Sookie states: “There’s no one left.” Is this in relation to the attack on the church, or is this is an indication of who will be left standing at the very end of True Blood Season 7?

True Blood Season 7: Meet the Newest Character!

April 15, 2014

Brigette the Microbiologist:

HBO's true blood season 7Over the years many Truebie fans have complained at the extensive and sometimes confusing list of characters that arrive and depart in every season of HBO’s True Blood. Well it seems Season 7 is no exception to this rule! Not only have two new villains been introduced to play alongside long time resident baddie, Sarah Newlin, but we now have a microbiologist to add to the list!

According to E! Online, we have the following details:

We’re going back in time to meet Bill’s parents, William Compton Sr. and Margaret Compton in 1855. We’lll also see Caroline Compton (Shannon Lucio) give birth to one of Bill’s kids in the 1850s. And in the present, get ready to meet Brigette, a smokin’ hot…microbiologist.

So, it’s only a small snippet of information, but it still leads us to wonder why exactly there would be a microbiologist in True Blood Season 7? Could she be investigating what is going on with those rabid, zombie-like vampires we saw at the very end of True Blood Season 6? That seems completely likely. However, some are wondering why Brigette’s inclusion in True Blood was noted alongside the reported flashbacks to Bill Compton’s (Stephen Moyer) past –  is there a possible connection between the two? Only time will tell.

Make sure you tune in for the premiere of HBO’s True Blood Season 7 on June 22nd 2014 to find out!

Let us know your theories as to why True Blood would need a microbiologist in its final season by commenting below!

True Blood Season 7 Spoilers: Bill Compton

April 15, 2014

Prepare for More Flashbacks to Bill’s Past:

Stephen Moyer stars as Bill/Billith in HBO's True Blood Season 6With the start date announced for HBO’s finale season of True Blood, fans are starting to wonder how everything will be tied up neatly in a mere ten episodes. For those of you who are particularly fond of vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer), there has been some interesting spoilers released in relation to his role in True Blood Season 7.

With fans concerned about what would happen to Bill after turning into a blood puddle and reanimating as Lilith/Billith at the end of Season 5, and then with all his adventures in Season 6, it will be very interesting to see how this season will pan out for him.

And now, with the announcement that there will be a flashback involving Bill, how will this tie in to his constantly evolving story line? Well, here at TrueBloodNet, we have compiled a list of Bill Compton spoilers – read ahead with caution!

What to expect:

  • The flashback will occur in the 1850’s – 1855 according to E! Online. There we will meet Bill’s parents, Margaret and William Compton, Sr. Not sure why we need to see Bill’s parents, since he was turned after he was married to Caroline (Shannon Lucio), but it must be important.
  • Another flashback is due to occur in 1862 (which is only three years before Bill’s ‘death’). According to Examiner.com, Bill will be clashing with some local residents of Bon Temps about his views on the Civil war that was raging at that time. A casting sheet in relation to this scene reveals a 5-year-old Sarah Compton will also be present.
  • A spoiler site (although Examiner.com did not reveal which one), has claimed that we will also see a flashback to the 1850s where fans can witness the birth of one of Bill’s children.

So what does all this mean? Will Bill be fighting with his inner demons yet again? Or will there be a final closure for him? Let us know all your thoughts and theories in the comments below!

First Promo Video for True Blood Season 7!

April 3, 2014

True Blood’s Teaser Video Announces Start Date:

True Blood red posterWell, I don’t know whether to be happy or sad at this news! HBO have just released their very first trailer video tease for True Blood Season 7. It is short and oh so bitter sweet in showing us all the characters we have lost over the last six seasons. The video also finishes up with the announcement that True Blood Season 7 will commence on June 22nd 2014.

Yay!

Except that then in only ten short weeks following that start date, True Blood will be finished. FOREVER.

And will ten weeks really be enough time to satisfactorily wind up all the story lines? While Season 6 saw a decline in plot and sub plot numbers, there are still plenty of loose ends that will need tying up this year. Especially so since HBO recently announced two more villains for this season. And fans are eagerly asking the following questions:

  • Will Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and Alcide (Joe Manganiello) end up together?
  • Is Willa (Amelia Rose Blaire) coping as a new vampire on her lonesome?
  • Will Layfayette (Nelsan Ellis) get a new love?
  • When will Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) return to cause more trouble?
  • How are Tara (Rutina Wesley) and Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) going?
  • And, most importantly for many – did Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) survive his extreme tan?

But, alas, we will just have to wait and see what the writers have in store for us. While waiting really does suck, having to find a new vampire addiction after the end of Season 7, is probably worse.

True Blood Season 7: Amelia Rose Blaire Drops A Delicious Hint

April 2, 2014

Is Willa Involved With a Different Crowd Now?

Amelia Rose Blaire stars as Willa Burrell in HBO's True Blood Season 6It turns out that Amelia Rose Blaire was a fan of vampires and HBO’s True Blood long before she wowed the producers in her audition for Willa Burrell. Winning the part was just the icing on the cake, as far as she was concerned:

I had watched (“True Blood”) since the beginning, so I was a fan, and I knew everything that had happened in the previous seasons, and getting to work with HBO, I mean, it’s a pretty incredible package to be offered. I never expected to book something like this.

While she may have never dreamed of working on the True Blood set, we sure are glad she auditioned in the first place, since Willa has, over such a short period of time, become a fan favorite.

Now that Willa has gone from being daddy’s little girl to Eric Northman’s (Alexander Skarsgard) little girl, what else could possibly be in store for her in Season 7? According to Amelia Rose Blaire, it’s a new crowd to hang out with!

So far this season, I’ve gotten to work with a very different group than I worked with last season.  The things I’m doing to prepare now are very different than what I did last season, because Willa’s in a different place.

Well, isn’t that intriguing? While Willa was mainly focused with Eric and the vampires directly surrounding him in Season 6, there is a whole other world of characters she could get mixed up with in Season 7 – especially now her new vampire daddy burst into flames at the end of Season 6! Will she be spending some time with Sookie (Anna Paquin) down in Bon Temps perhaps? Or will there be loose ends to catch up on with her father’s colleagues? Maybe she’ll help out around Fangtasia? There are many options for her this season.

But Amelia is keeping quiet about what else may be happening in True Blood’s final season:

I have no idea how it’s going to end or where it’s going. But we’re moving very fast towards something, and I’m excited to see what it is we crash into. I think it’s going to be the perfect end.

What would your perfect end be for True Blood? let us know in the comments below!

Ryan Kwanten Confirms True Blood Favorites WILL Die in Season 7!

Ryan Kwanten Confirms True Blood Favorites WILL Die in Season 7!

Which True Blood Stars Won’t Make the Finale?

During the Oscars, Access Hollywood was able to spend a little time with True Blood star Ryan Kwanten (who plays beefcake Jason Stackhouse) and in true style, got straight to the delicious crunch of what will be going down in True Blood Season 7. With Ryan confirming that only one third of Season 7 having been recorded yet, there is still time for things to change dramatically!Ryan-Kwanten-10-300x186

While Season 7 is the next – and final – instalment of the HBO vampire show, there are plenty of loose ends to be tied up in only ten short episodes. The Season 6 finale bought us a new virus, Hepatitis V, which affects vampires. As a result, Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) and Vampire Bill (Stephen Moyer) came up with the plan to team healthy vampires up with healthy humans in a bid to keep the infection rate under control. How this will work considering a huge infected container of Tru Blood bottles made it out of the depot before it was realised, is anyone’s guess.

Add into the mix the fact that Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) is still out there after Jason set her free rather than kill her at Vamp Camp and the fact that Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) was left burning to a crisp somewhere in Sweden and there is plenty of scope as to who might be the next to die in Season 7.

So what did Ryan have to say about it all? Well, you can find out in the video below!

Let us know your predictions for who will die in HBO’s True Blood Season 7.

Will Sarah Newlin Exact Revenge in True Blood Season 7?

April 2, 2014

Will Sarah Newlin Exact Revenge in True Blood Season 7?

Or Maybe Her Bitter Sister Will:

Trubie fans were happy to see the demise of Reverend Steve Newlin (Michael McMillian) in True Blood Season 6. The only downside is that his crazy wife, Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) is still on the loose. Although, considering Sarah has turned into a fan favorite as far as True Blood baddies go, maybe we are glad she has made it to the final season!TB-S06E03-15a-300x180

But will Sarah return to cause even more havoc in Season 7? So far, there has been no confirmation. However, TVLine recently offered this tasty little morsel of information via their website:

Who needs a new Big Bad when you’ve still got Anna Camp’s Sarah Newlin hanging around wreaking havoc at every turn? And in the show’s seventh and final season, we’ll be introduced to the vampire exterminator’s Texas socialite parents and angry, bitter, gothed-out sister. (Fun fact: Sarah’s spot-on maiden name? Crabtree!) While mom and dad will appear in just one episode, Sarah’s sis, Amber, will be staying put for an arc — an extremely juicy, twisty, this-will-explain-a-lot-about-why-Sarah-is-the-way-she-is arc.

This certainly looks like an interesting story arc! With Sarah’s addiction to powerful men as well as her apparently irrational disdain for all things vampire, it will be interesting to find out why this is so. Her overly zealous affection for the Lord might also be tied into this somehow too.

So, what do you think her back story might contain? What are your theories on why Sarah Newlin ended up as determined (and crazy) as she is? Let us know in the comments below!
