Cemetery Girl centers around a teenage girl who awakens, bruised and bloody, in the grim surroundings of an old graveyard, with no memory of who she is, how she got there, or who left her for dead. All she knows is that whoever tried to kill her is still out there. Not knowing where to go, or who to trust, she avoids all human contact. She survives on stolen food and uses a cemetery crypt as her home. She takes the name Calexa from the name above her crypt.

Calexa soon makes a startling discovery:

She can see the spirits of the dead, and one in particular, can see her.

The victim of a murder that Calexa has inadvertently witnessed compels her to take action, even if it means her own life will be put at risk.

Now Calexa must make a decision: continue to hide to protect herself—or come forward to bring justice to the sad spirit who has reached out to her for help…

True Blood’s Alexandra Breckenridge Joins The Walking Dead

October 24, 2014

Recurring Role May Extend Into Season 6 of AMC’s Zombie Juggernaut:

Alexandra Breckenridge starred as Katerina Pellham in HBOs True Blood Season 4Truebies will remember Alexandra Breckenridge as the undercover WiccanKaterina “Katie” Pellham, in Season 4 of HBO’s True Blood. It seems Alexandra has gone from Wiccan to zombie enthusiast with her newest role on AMC’s The Walking Dead! While there is little information on the character she will play, AMC have confirmed that she will appear in Season 5 with the option of her role extending into Season 6. Her character has been given the name “Samantha” but even AMC are admitting that may just been a placeholder detail for the time being – along with her character descriptive as listed below:

“Samantha” [is] an attractive, strong, smart, charming and articulate woman with a vulnerable side. She’s a mother with a bohemian spirit, and a talented artist.

Walking Dead fans will remember that placeholder details for new characters are relatively commonplace on this show. For example, Season 5 newcomer Father Gabriel Stokes (played by Seth Gilliam in the TV series) was originally introduced to fans as Michael Todd. This occurs when a comic book story line crosses over into the TV series and may cause an unintentional spoiler to comic book fans who also watch the show.

WetPaint have speculated that if AMC have announced Alexandra’s character name as a placeholder, than she must be based on a comic book character, so suggest she may be playing the role of either Jessie Anderson or Dr. Denise Cloyd.

Do you watch AMC’s The Walking Dead or read the comics? If so, which character do you think Alexandra Breckenridge will be playing in the TV series? Let us know your thoughts by commenting below!

True Blood’s Rebecca Wisocky to Join ABC’s Once Upon A Time

October 23, 2014

From Queen Mab to Madam Faustina:

Rebecca Wisocky starred as Queen Mab in HBOs True Blood Season 4In the fourth season of HBO’s True Blood, actress Rebecca Wiscocky starred as the sometimes beautiful, sometimes hideous Queen Mab, queen of the fairies. But now, it seems, she has set her sights on portraying a common charlatan in ABC’s Once Upon A Time. TVLine has this to report about Rebecca’s character, Madam Faustina:

Wisocky will appear in this season’s 10th episode as Madam Faustina, a charlatan who, in flashbacks, pretends to commune with spirits in order to swindle her customers by telling them made-up fortunes. Said “seer” exhibits a gentle, compassionate manner, but that is only an act designed to conceal her tough, unscrupulous nature from her marks.

Word has it that Elizabeth Mitchell’s Snow Queen will cross paths with Faustina — buyer (or seller?) beware!
