Alexander Skarsgard May Attend Beyond the Pole Premiere in Los Angeles

Alexander Skarsgard shows quite a different side in “Beyond the Pole,” a film which will be screened in Los Angeles on May 1 at the United Film Festival.

Alexander may make an appearance at the festival himself to witness his big screen debut as a cocky, gay Norwegian in a film that has been advertised as a satirical romp through the North Pole.

Characters Brian and Mark set out to reach the North Pole as the first carbon neutral, vegetarian, and organic expedition. Their high hopes for the journey include making it into the Guinness Book of Records and somehow saving the planet from global warming.

What they don’t count on are two Norwegian comrades who are also carbon neutral, vegetarian and organic — and faster! Their other obstacles include a polar bear and Mark’s mental breakdown.

You can order your tickets for the United Film Festival here.

In an outtake from the film, posted on the film’s Facebook page, Alex tries to “warm up” his comrade rather intimately. Rumor has it that another outtake features Alex‘s character naked, drunk and singing a song by Queen. Guess fans will have to check the DVD’s special features!
