Alexander Skarsgård, the Troll?

Moomins Alexander Skarsgård

True Blood‘s Alexander Skarsgård has lent his voice to a children’s animated film,“Moomins and the Comet Chase”.  The Finnish film celebrates the 65th anniversary of the classic “Moomins” children’s books by Tove Jansson.  Skarsgård is the voice of the main character Moomintroll in the English-language version.  Funnily enough, his real-life father, Stellan Skarsgård, is the voice of Moominpappa, Moomintroll’s father!  Ideal for kids aged 5-9, the stop motion film features a hippopotamus-looking troll who notices one day that everything has turned grey in Moomin Valley.  He discovers that the threat of a comet is imminent, and scrambles to get everyone safe in time, including old friends and new ones he’s met along the way.
