Anna Paquin on True Blood: Workout Routine

annafitAnna Paquin of True Blood has to keep in top shape in order to keep up with the physical demands of fighting off threatening vampires and would be killers.  Although Anna plays the sweet, down-to-earth telepathic waitress, Sookie Stackhouse,  on Alan Ball’s hit HBO TV series True Blood, she has to be tough enough to fight her way out of some of the dilemmas that she faces on the show.  The Insider states that in a  People magazine report Anna stays in top condition by following a regiment that includes “several times a week  of one to two hour-long sweat sessions combining boxing, plyometrics (exercises including bounding and jumping) and weight work with longtime trainer Clay Burwell at his High Performance Gym in New York City. “She punches hard!” he says. “And she has a mean left hook.”  Maybe now the bad guys will think twice before picking on her.
