Carrie Preston Talks about her Busy Career

Rebecca Murray from About.com recently had the opportunity to talk to Carrie Preston about her busy career not only as an actress but also as a producer, director and owner of her own production company, Daisy 3 Pictures. When she is not playing Arlene Fowler, the red-headed barmaid at Merlotte’s in Alan Ball’s hit HBO TV series True Blood, she is busy working on other projects. Recently Ms. Preston has appeared in Woody Allen’s Vicky Cristina Barcelona, the Oscar nominated film Doubt, and starred opposite Julia Roberts and Clive Owen in the movie Duplicity. If that wasn’t enough Ms. Preston still managed to find time to work on a film entitled, That Evening Sun, which was awarded Best Ensemble Cast award as well as the Audience Award for narrative feature at SXSW Festival earning rave reviews and producing and starring in the movie Ready?
