Fox Will Re-Release This Film Next Summer With the ‘Rogue Cut':
Fans of Anna Paquin (who also starred as Sookie Stackhouse in HBO’s True Blood) were saddened when her character, Rogue, was basically removed (except for a small cameo role) from the movie X-Men: Days of Future Past. However, it seems there is some exciting news in relation to the film’s re-release next summer – Rogue will get more of her story told this time round with the ‘Rogue Cut’ version of the movie to hit the home video platform.
There is no definitive date yet, with Fox announcing only that the director’s cut of the movie will hit the shelves in the first half of 2015. X-Men writer, Simon Kinberg had this to say about the extra ten minutes of footage that will be added back into the movie:
It’s a big chunk, a substantial part of the movie [Anna Paquin’s Rogue storyline]. We want to give [fans] the fullest picture of the film — behind the camera, and in front of it … Every movie has scenes that are cut out, but not every movie has scenes cut out with such a beloved character.
The extra footage relates mostly to Rogue but will also include scenes with other characters. The decision to cut Rogue’s scenes from the original version of the movie came down to the need to streamline the many plots and subplots already in the movie. As a result, Kinberg found that Rogue’s storyline did not quite fit originally with that cut of the movie.
Previously the character of Rogue appeared in X-Men, X-Men 2 and X-Men: The Last Stand. The film also co-stars Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Patrick Stewart, Michael Fassbender, Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Nicholas Hoult, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore and Peter Dinklage.
X-Men fans will be able to look forward to the next installment of the franchise with Simon Kinberg currently writing the script for X-Men: Apocalypse.

New Zealand’s Remix Magazine Celebrates One of Their Own:
Sookie Stackhouse is southern all the way with her southern drawl, polite manners and snappy attitude. But for the actor who portrays the Bon Temps telepathic waitress, Anna Paquin, hails from another part of the world; New Zealand. She has certainly put on the American accent with the best of them over the last seven years on HBO’s True Blood, but now her native New Zealand is celebrating all things Anna in the Spring edition of Remix.
Anna features on the cover of the magazine, as well as in the feature article on New Zealand heroes. There are plenty of great shots of Anna to enjoy as well.
You can purchase this magazine at most of the usual stockists or subscribe directly via the website by clicking here.

HBO Has Released the Full Video of the True Blood Cast at San Diego’s Comic Con 2014:
Considering us truebies have nothing to watch this Sunday, it seems HBO has taken pity on us and released the entire video of the True Blood panel interview from San Diego’s Comic Con 2014. So sit back for the next hour, and get stuck into watching – and reminiscing – about the very last time there will be True Blood panel at Comic Con. Just be warned though, Kristin Bauer van Straten (who plays vampire Pam) is crying as she walks onto stage, so make sure you have the tissues ready! And remember, watching it in hindsight is completely different to previously too because we all know exactly what they are talking about when they hint at upcoming events on True Blood Season 7.
The full panel includes: Nathan Parsons (James), Deborah Ann Woll (Jessica Hamby), Nelsan Ellis (Lafayette Reynolds), Carrie Preston, Arlene Fowler), Chris Bauer (Andy Bellefleur), Anna Camp (Sarah Newlin) Brian Buckner (showrunner), Kristin Bauer van Straten (Pamela Swynford De Beaufort), Rutina Wesley (Tara Thornton), Sam Trammell (Sam Merlotte), Stephen Moyer (Bill Compton) and Anna Paquin (Sookie Stackhouse).

Check Out These Photo’s of the True Blood Cast From BEFORE They Were on True Blood:
For many True Blood fans, the HBO vampire series introduced them to some amazing new actors. However, these actors weren’t all fresh from acting school. Some, like Denis O’Hare (who played villain Russell Edgington) had starred in many, many TV shows and movies before they were introduced to truebies via True Blood.
So lets have a look at some of them via Mashable’s recent list:
Before Anna Paquin was a telepathic waitress called Sookie Stackhouse, she won an Oscar when she was only a child in a movie called The Piano:
Stephen Moyer starred as Prouix the Architect in Quills alongside Geoffrey Rush and Kate Winslet long before he took on the role Bon Temps resident vampire Bill Compton:
Alexander Skaragard starred in many Swedish movies before starring as a male model called Meekus in Zoolander. However, his earliest role was that of Kalle Nubb in Åke och hans värld (Åke and His World). Of course, we all know him now as the 1000 year old viking vampire, Eric Northman:
Before Ryan Kwanten was a dimwitted southern deputy called Jason Stackhouse, he starred as Vinnie in a long time recurring role on Australia’s Home and Away:
Rutina Wesley may be known as Tara Thornton, the bestie of Sookie who managed to die twice in True Blood, but before that she was Raya Green in How She Move:
And as for Kristin Bauer van Straten who plays vampire Pam? Well, she will forever go down in history as Jillian, the woman with man hands in Seinfeld:

What Would You Rate as the Best and Worst Sex Scenes in HBO’s True Blood?
It’s hard to pick just a few stand out sex scenes in HBO’s True Blood – considering just how many have been dished up to us over the last seven years. But, after much research, here’s my top six list:
- BEST: Ginger (Tara Buck) and Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) finally get it on atop Eric’s throne in Fangtasia. Yep, I really didn’t think this hook up in Season 7 would be as thoroughly entertaining as it turned out to be. I’m not sure if it was Ginger’s undeniable glee, or the fact that she is just so damn excited that she is over and done with in a matter of seconds or if it’s because it was very obviously a nod to the whole vampire fangirldom out there.
- WORST: Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) and Lorena Krasiki (Mariana Klaveno) get bendy in Season 3. This one was just plain weird. And it made me want to throw up in my mouth just a little. Even just thinking about Bill twisting Lorena’s head all the way round as I am typing now is making me nauseous.
- BEST: Jessica Hamby (Deborah Ann Woll) goes to visit Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) in her red riding outfit. Yeah, I’m pretty sure there was a spike in red riding hood capes in 2012 after Jessica wore hers in Season 5.
- WORST: Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) claws his way out of the grave to have sex with Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin). I am still surprised Sookie didn’t need hospitalization after that romp. All that dirt, and in all the wrong places…
- BEST: Jason Stackhouse has a sex dream about Eric Northman – while he’s in church! Yep, I know after six months the effects of vampire blood on a human has probably worn off, but I’m glad to over look that for the fact that these two hooked up in Season 7.
- WORST: Bon Temps has an orgy. Thank you very much Maryann Forrester (Michelle Forbes) for coming to Bon Temps in Season 2 and making me see things that I cannot unsee. Although, on a flip side to this one, we did get a hilarious scene with Jason posing as ‘the god who came’…

Is Sookie Stackhouse Just One of God’s Mistakes?
Here we have it: the very last sneak peek video of HBO’s True Blood EVER! In this video we find Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) questioning whether God makes mistakes, and wondering if maybe she is one of them.
Under the sneak peek video, we have some new release promo stills from Episode 10 (entitled Thank You) of True Blood Season 7.
Also, don’t forget to place your bids on your fave True Blood props and costumes in the ScreenBid auction that is running right now. Currently, Eric Northman’s (Alexanderskarsgard) throne has reached $7,700 dollars, but if that is out of your budget, there are still plenty of items priced around the $100 mark.
Finally, don’t forget that you can’t have a True Blood finale without some of Gran’s home-baked cooking! Why not whip up Adele Stackhouse’s (Lois Smith) famous pecan pie that Sookie sobbed over in Season 1? You can find the recipe by clicking here.
Synopsis (revised slightly from the one displayed in previous articles):
Sookie Stackhouse weighs a future with and without Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer). Eric Northman and Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) embark on a new enterprise, while Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) faces the consequences of her actions. Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) embraces his new life; Andy Bellefleur (Chris Bauer) comes upon an unexpected inheritance.

Find out Why the Last Day of Filming True Blood Season 7 Was So Rushed!
Recently husband and wife (and True Blood co-stars) Anna Paquin (Sookie Stackhouse) and Stephen Moyer (Bill Compton) caught up with Popcorn’s Peter Travers to discuss the end of HBO’s iconic vampire series. There are plenty of topics touched on in the two video interviews below, including:
- Anna and Paquin meeting on the set of True Blood
- How many sex scenes Stephen directed that included his wife Anna
- What it’s like to raise twins
- Dave the dog
- Anna getting an Oscar at such a young age (for her work in the movie, The Piano) and her breathy acceptance speech
- That last day on the set of True Blood Season 7
Finally, make sure you watch to the very end of the first video to find out which song Stephen Moyer sings to his wife at the end of the interview. (HINT: It has a True Blood connection).
In the second video, Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer discuss what they got to keep from the set of True Blood.

Could an Original Cast Member Die in Episode 9 of HBO’s True Blood ?
It seems Episode 9 (entitled Love is to Die) will say a final goodbye to yet another original cast member of HBO’s True Blood! But will they die? It seems the devil is in the fine print of what TVGuide had to say about the upcoming episode recently:
With only two episodes to go, there are a lot of narrative threads to tie up, including the issue of Bill [Compton]‘s mortality. I will only say this: At least one original cast member will say goodbye for good this week. In possibly related news, a longstanding love triangle will be resolved and you’ll see one of the show’s weirdest — and funniest — sex scenes between a long-unrequited pair.
How interesting is that news? With the admission of a long term love triangle also being resolved, one could assume that with Bill’s (Stephen Moyer) death, Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) finally chooses Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard). Consolation prize anyone? However, there is another love triangle going on at the moment – that of Hoyt Fortenberry (Jim Parrack), Jessica Hamby (Deborah Ann Woll) and Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten). Perhaps TVGuide are referring to that triangle instead? Maybe Jess and Hoyt get back together and Jessica decides to move to Alaska to be with him? After all, it doesn’t specifically say the cast member will die.
And what of that sex scene, huh? Who do we know on True Blood that is part of an ‘unrequited pair’? Could it be Sookie and Eric? Probably not, since they have been intimate before. But it sure doesn’t leave many other options. Perhaps Arlene (Carrie Preston) and Keith (Riley Smith)? Especially since TVLine had this spoiler to announce:
Not everyone will get a happy ending on True Blood… but I think it’s safe to say that Arlene and Keith will be among the lucky few. Though we’re not going to get another pool table scene, this Sunday’s episode does show the effect Arlene’s relationship with Keith is having on her. (Spoiler Alert: She’s a very happy woman.)
But they haven’t been an item for very long, and many wouldn’t even really consider them as such. Oh, hang on a minute – what about Ginger (Tara Buck) and Eric? Now that would potentially be hilarious and weird!

Arlene Offers Sookie Some Advice:
Here’s the penultimate sneak peek #2 clip of HBO’s True Blood ever! In Episode 9 (ominously entitled Love is to Die) of True Blood Season 7, we find Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) and Arlene Fowler (Carrie Preston) deep in conversation at Bellefleur’s (formerly known as Merlotte’s) about loss, grief and how to move on. It seems Sookie has admitted that she never fully committed to her relationship with Alcide Herveaux (Joe Manganiello) because of the feelings she still had for vampire Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer).
The question is though, is Sookie and Arlene having this chat because Bill has already succumbed to Hep-V?

Sookie Stackhouse retreats in confusion. Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) makes a choice. Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) exercises uncharacteristic restraint, while Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) faces a dilemma after being caught in a lie.

Who Makes it to Episode 10 (entitled Thank You)?
With only two more episodes left of HBO’s True Blood, fans are starting to worry at how all the loose ends will be tied up. Who will die? Who will live happily ever after? Who will Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) finally chose?
Well, we have the press release for the True Blood Season 7 finale! Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer) makes it to at least the start of the episode, but it seems he is still suffering from his virulent dose of Hep-V – will he take the antidote or meet the true death? Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) makes a choice – hang on a minute didn’t he already do that in Episode 9? How many choices does Sam have to make? Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) and Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) also make it to Episode 10 (entitled Thank You) of True Blood. It seems they are not entirely comfortable with their relationship with Mr. Gus (Will Yun Lee) though – could one of these three die? And, finally, we come to an interesting little titbit: Andy Bellefleur (Chris Bauer) gets an unexpected inheritance. This one disturbs me, after all it wasn’t that long ago that Bill was seeking legal advice about his will. Could Andy be the benefactor of Bill’s estate? And, if that is the case, does Bill die?
You can make up your own mind on this synopsis and let us know your thoughts by commenting below!
