True Blood Cast Share Season Finale Spoilers

September 8, 2010

True Blood Cast, True BloodThe Season 3 finale of True Blood is getting closer and closer, and several actors on the show are giving fans very small “spoilers” to amp up the anticipation for the finale even more.

Joe Manganiello said that there will be lots of sex, blood, and death. However, when asked about whether Alcide‘s ex-fiancee, Debbie Pelt, would survive, Joe suggested that someone ask Alan Ball that question.

Nelsan Ellis simply said that the True Blood Season 3 Finale will have “a lot of blood and bite.”

Kevin Alejandro gave a slightly more in depth tease. He said that we’ll finally learn more about his character, Jesus, and what kind of person he really is.

Kristin Bauer van Straten also told us a little bit about Pam. She claims that Pam will be in “an emotional and physical battle” in order to save Eric. Kristin also teased that “there are some twists and turns that happen. It’s really clever.”

Todd Lowe revealed that we may see Terry Bellefleur shed some tears and the story behind them.

Marshall Allman very succinctly said that Tommy will be giving Sam a run for his money.

When Stephen Moyer and Anna Paquin were asked about spoilers, both were incredibly vague. Stephen said that Bill and Eric have some great moments, and Anna merely shared that “lots of stuff happens.”

Though Jim Parrack said nothing about what’s going to happen with Hoyt, he did say that the Season 3 finale is going to be even wilder and crazier than the Season 2 finale.

Though these tidbits say very little apart, together they point to a fact that Truebies have known for a long time: the True Blood Season 3 finale is going to be crazy, and we can’t wait to see it!

True Blood Season 4 Spoiler News and Season Finale

September 1, 2010

Sam Trammell True Blood Sam Merlotte in troubleAs fans anxiously wait for the season finale of True Blood set it air on Sunday, September 12, 2010 on HBO, spoiler news is being filtered out not only about the season finale but what we can expect to see for Season 4. Here are some spoiler scoop from various sources as they try to answer some fan questions. First from E!Online:

Benedict in New Orleans: True Blood please! Finale scoop!
I’m starting to get very frightened for our dear Sook (Anna Paquin). Something tells me Denis O’Hare’s promise that he’ll be “weeping tears of joy” may have to do with him walking in sunlight, and I’m also hearing Russell probably won’t be offed. Danger, danger, danger.

Jalya in Kahala, Hawaii: Aw! I cannot believe the way Sam’s acting on True Blood. Tell me it isn’t permanent, please!
Sorry kiddies, but Sam Trammell tells me Sam’s not-so-pleasant adventures are just beginning and will extend far into True Blood’s fourth season. “I know one thing that’s going to happen with Sam [next year], which is taking it to a new level. It’s very cool.” The gang doesn’t even start shooting until November, so get ready for a long and painful off season. Sigh!

TV Guide Magazine gives us so more information regarding what we are going to see for Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis), Alcide Herveaux (Joe Manganiello), Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten), Holly Cleary (Lauren Bowles), and Jesus (Kevin Alejandro) in the season finale and a glimpse into season 4.

“Nelsan Ellis (Lafayette) told TV Guide Magazine, saying we’ll find out why he and Jesus are so “spiritually connected.” Joe Manganiello promised, “Alcide will be back before the season’s up to take care of some unfinished business,” and Kristin Bauer said that vampire Pam will “do anything to save her maker [Eric].”

Sam Trammell (Sam Merlotte) says “somebody in Sam’s camp is in big trouble,” but wouldn’t specify if that someone is little brother Tommy. “This season leaves everyone with a bunch of cliffhangers, especially with my storyline. There’s something very serious, very hardcore that happens.”

Joe states that “[Creator] Alan [Ball] and the writers are busy writing Season 4 right now, so I’m dying to find out what happens,” he said. And Lauren Bowles (wiccan Holly) promised, “You will be seeing me a lot next season. As Alan has announced, next year is the year of the witch.”

“What they’ve written, there’s a lot of sparks going on,” says Kevin Alejandro. “Whatever happens next season should be pretty explosive.”

True Blood Season 3 Spoiler News: Arlene’s Baby Drama

August 31, 2010

Carrie Preston True Blood Arlene FowlerKristin Dos Santos from E!Online had the opportunity to speak with Carrie Preston and ask her what is going on with Arlene and her baby drama.  Carrie‘s answer doesn’t seem to clarify much, and in fact leaves many more confused and curious as to what we will see in the season finale and for season 4.   Carrie answers the following question, sort of:

Jessica in Tenn.: Are we going to see something happen with Arlene’s baby situation before the end of the season on True Blood?
As a matter of fact, Mrs. Carrie Preston assures us we will…well, kinda. “Arlene is still very conflicted. But there’s going to be a resolution to the conflict,” she says, “But it’s also going to be open-ended.” Either she’s speaking in tongues or my Emmy (lack of sleep and too much ginger ale) hangover is worse than I thought. Does that make any sense to anyone? Carrie’s equally wonderful hubby Michael Emerson weighed in on the baby drama, saying, “I mean, we have to see the baby,” to which she responded, “If there is a baby…” Now I’m really stumped. She’s not pulling a Terri Schuester is she? Or preggo with some sort of supernatural somethin’? The mind boggles.”

True Blood Season 3 Spoiler News: Season Finale Tease from Denis O’Hare

August 25, 2010

Denis O'Hare True Blood Russell EdgingtonTrue Blood‘s Denis O’Hare speaks with Kristin Dos Santos from E!Online and shares many tidbits about the final two episodes left in season 3 of True Blood. Denis always does fantastic interviews and not only does he discuss his character Russell Edgington, but also jokes around about being airbrushed out of the Rolling Stone cover shoot.

One thing that Kristin mentions on her blog is the there is already an Emmy buzz surrounding his performance as Russell Edgington.  Denis says:

“On the one hand it feels good, because you feel like, ‘Oh, wow. People are paying attention.’ But on the other hand, I’m Irish and very superstitious. So, I’m just terrified that somehow I will mess things up! To me, and this is in all honesty, the joy of this was actually being able to work on it, to actually do it. I got to make new friends. I got to challenge myself. I got to play a role where I run around and be a vampire, which I haven’t done since I was 8 years old. Everything else is ravy.” Then he pauses, looks straight into our camera, and says with a laugh, “Obviously, if you want to start a Facebook page, that’s totally fine with me. It would be lovely. I’m just going to live my life, gratefully, and happily, and humbly.”
