The True Blood Actress Who Plays Jessica Speaks at PaleyFest:

True Blood's Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll)

Recently Deborah Ann Woll was interviewed at PaleyFest. The star who plays newly-turned vamp, Jessica on HBO’s series, True Blood, spoke about upcoming Season 4. Here’s what she had to say…

About Hoyt

Deborah claims it is definitely true love between Jessica and Hoyt (Jim Parrack). But hints at a very rocky road. She states the fact that True Blood is a TV show and there has to be drama to create story lines. By all intents, it looks like some of that drama could involve Hoyt’s mom.

About Bill

Even though Bill (Stephen Moyer) has released Jessica from his hold, it is unsure whether that will be upheld. While Bill was determined to set her free, Deborah was quick to add that it was not a mutual consent. She also hints at the fact that while there may be trouble in paradise between Bill and Sookie (Anna Paquin), his relationship with Jessica may be the only affectionate one he has left. Deborah liked this idea and was keen to see it developed, but did not confirm or deny that possibility.

About Pam

Deborah admitted that she now refers to Pam (Kristin Bauer) as ‘Aunty Pam,’ since she provides the role of the cool, older vampire. She thinks that Pam is an excellent role model for younger vampires.

About Season 4

Deborah is keen to see Jessica use more of her powers in the next season. She is eager to see how her ability to glamour people improves, as well as being keen to see Jessica mess with a few people’s minds.

Pam a good role model for younger Vampires? Really? Like she showed Jessica how to feed of humans (along with Eric) – how is this helpful, for one example? Remember, Jess stayed with Pam and Eric for her first 2 weeks. They returned her for being a nuisance! Good on Bill for making Jessica a more moderate Vamp!
