First Look At Deborah Ann Woll’s Film Mother’s Day

October 14, 2009 by

Deborah Ann Woll, who plays newly-turned vampire Jessica on True Blood, is currently filming Darren Bousman’s remake of Mother’s Day with the first behind the scenes clip being released now. Deborah will portray the role of the daughter of a psychopathic family who will terrorize the new owners, and their guests, upon returning to her childhood home.

The remake is written by Scott Milam and the rest of the cast includes Jaime King, Briana Evigan, Alexa Vega, Shawn Ashmore, Patrick Flueger and Matt O’Leary. It has been reported that the story will reflect today’s times and rough economy.

The production team has been shooting the film in Canada and you can watch the the exciting behind the scenes here.  You can see Deborah‘s character in the video looking so devilish:

Darren Bousman also posted this first official photo on his Twitter showing Patrick Flueger holding a gun while tussling with Jaime King:

Mother’s Day as also known for the fact that celebrated Saw II and III director Darren Bousman is making the film. I’m hoping Deborah’s performance will give us another exciting bite just like what she always does in True Blood.
