Jace Everett To Perform in Maidstone, Kent UK

April 16, 2010 by

On his first tour in the UK, Jace Everett will be performing his “Bad Things” hit from the True Blood TV series.  The venue on Friday, May 7th at 7:45pm, will be at The Exchange Studio on Earl Street in Maidstone, Kent.  Doors open at 7:00pm.

Tickets for the Jace Everett Band are being sold online at wegottickets.com for £17.00.  The number of tickets remaining are limited, so don’t wait too long.

The Exchange Studio at Hazlitt Arts Center opened in May 2008 and is “the ultimate in flexible studio spaces”.  It can be configured for just about any situation – from theatre in the round, cabaret, dance floor to band nights or comedy clubs.

Promoting the tour is Maverick Magazine.  They are a team of individuals who are passionate about music – country, folk, bluegrass and roots music, as well as cross-overs.  Editor, Alan Cackett, however, is not satisfied with being just a magazine.

“Now with a small dedicated team, a monthly 100 page magazine is produced to wonderful luxury coffee-table quality, along with a music festival every year, weekly shows at a venue in Maidstone, occasional radio appearances for the BBC, tour sponsorship and anything else we can find time for.”

Within the magazine, readers will be treated to a wealth of information on artists and bands: details including new releases, extensive tour dates and projects, reviews of the previous month’s gigs (both positive and negative); CD reviews in separate sections for new releases and re-releases.  A one-page index will list all artists featured in that issue.  You will also find letters, obituaries and festival guides.

With so much passion for music, they also want to keep it real for their audience.  Comments, suggestions, input are welcome.

“As an independent publication we appreciate all of your support and comments – good or bad – the future of Maverick magazine is ultimately in your hands…”
