Mr. Gus Will be Played by Will Yun Lee in True Blood Season 7!
May 6, 2014 by Rachel Tsoumbakos
Finally, HBO’s Newest Villain has a Name:
We can now call Will Yun Lee our next favorite villain in True Blood Season 7. Will Yun Lee is repped by APA and Zero Gravity Management and is best known for his work in The Wolverine, Total Recall and Hawaii Five-0.
There has been much speculation as to how Lee’s character, Mr. Gus will be involved with the final season of HBO’s vampire series since the following information was dropped by E!Online:
He’s a Japan native who has fully embraced the “everything’s bigger in Texas” way of living. The only thing bigger than his lavish, southern lifestyle? His quest for revenge, and trust us when we tell you, you do not want to cross him.
It will be interesting to see how Mr. Gus will tie in with the storyline already set up for Season 7. Will he be a part of the Hepatitis V contamination? With the advent of the panic and desolation in the recently released Season 7 promo video, could he be someone from FEMA perhaps? Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) is a longtime True Blood villain – could he somehow be connected to her? Could he somehow be tied up with Willa Burrell (Amelia Rose Blaire) and her deceased father’s political agenda? Or is this yet another storyline that will reveal itself when True Blood premieres in June?
