Another Opportunity for Stephen Moyer Fans to Support Brentwood Theatre

Some of you may remember last fall when started “Steve’s Coach Campaign” in appreciation of Stephen Moyer‘s work as Bill Compton in True Blood and in honor of his birthday. We gave fans a place to donate money to Brentwood Theatre in Essex, UK, where Stephen is the patron, to help local schools bring students to see the Christmas production of The Twits.

There was a great response to the campaign, which succeeded in raising £1,500 and paid for three coaches full of kids who were thrilled to take a field trip to see the play. Stephen talked in a radio interview about how incredible his fans have been to him and his hometown theatre.

Mark Reed, the director at Brentwood, has already received donations so that schools can send kids to this year’s Christmas production of The Plotters of Cabbage Patch Corner. True Blood fans who would like to help in this effort can visit their website and click the “Supporting Brentwood Theatre” where you will see a Paypal “Buy It Now”button to make a donation.

You can also purchase CDs of the official recording of their production Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens, featuring Chris Southgate, Emma Sweeney, and Roz Ure. It costs £6.50 for UK residents, £7.50 for international, and most of that will go towards the Christmas production and helping the local schools with transportation. Their target goal is £5,000, and they are grateful to all of you Truebies who show your love for Stephen by supporting their work!
