Its interesting to hear Sam talk about what inspires him to do this show and work his scenes! Sam is 1 of my favorites Both On the show And Off He seems like a cool guy in real life,too! I still get creeped out by that scene of Sam in S1 where he puts on the latex gloves goes into the murdered gal's room and climbs up on her bed and smells her sheets and rolls around in them like a dog!! I'll bet his dog was a help to him there! That scene was creepy and showed maybe a "darker" side of Sam perhaps? Plus, I like the idea that the writers made it look like he could have been a suspect That's just good writing! Someone here suggested that this scene wasnt showing a dark,depraved Sam but like a dog trying to sniff out the identity of the killer so as to protect Sookie from him. I guess that scene is open to interpretation. I have been inspired and moved as many of us have by his and the performances of the cast including Steph,Alex and Ryan Also Anna,Rutina,Debrah Ann,Michelle even though her character gave me the creeps....LOL Thanks Udo this is a wonderful article!
