Stephen Moyer in Marie Claire Magazine June Issue

Stephen Moyer appears in the June 2009 issues of Marie Claire where in a brief interview he discusses his character, a 173 year vampire by the name of Bill Compton who falls in love with a telepathic waitress named Sookie Stackhouse (played by Anna Paquin) on Alan Ball‘s successful HBO TV series True Blood which returns for Season 2 on Sunday, June 14, 2099 at 9PM/ET on HBO.   Here is a scan of Stephen Moyer‘s article in the Marie Claire issue.

    I CAN’T WAIT FOR THE 2ND SEASON OF TRUE BLOOD WHEN I SAW A CLIP OF THE PROMO I SAW THE TV SHOW TRUE BLOOD GOT MUCH BETTER THAN THE FIRST EPISODE WHAT A GREAT TV SHOW TRUE BLOOD IS I HOPE IT NEVER ENDS ! MY FAVORITE CHARACTER IS BILL COMPTON !.

    Doreen you have to remember both Stephen and Robert are British and both would understand not to take it as an insult but just as playful jousting of one another. Europeans don’t take these terms as seriously as North Americans may interpret, therefore no insult was implied.
