What??! A presenter and NOT a nominee?! That’s outrageous!!
True Blood Should be nominated for Several awards!! What’s wrong with them?? I wouldnt watch Any of those award shows if you paid me! I’d like to see the Scream awards though just to see TB kick butt! Mr.Moyer is Far too kind to do this! No emmy for TB this year Now That Really SUCKS!!

  • I soooo, totally agree, Anita!! The same crap and people!! It is getting …OLD…Pretty soon, no one will be watching it!!

  • Anita

I am not going to watch it; they are clearly trying to lure viewers. Stephen should have been a nominee as well as other members of this fantastic cast. The “Academy” is such a joke; they nominate the same crap and same people year after year and ignore the real talent on TV. They are lucky Stephen is nice enough to do this.

  • I wasn’t going to watch it…But, now ..I am SO, going to watch it… Well, just until Stephen’s spot on the show is over..Then off to another show?? The Emmy people need to..”Wake Up!!” True Blood and the actors deserve to be nominated!! I don’t know what they could be thinking????…OH, their NOT…

Thank You Nia.. I usually try to be neutral, but I also have been known to fight for the underdog. To me True Blood is the underdog when It comes to the Emmys they have been overlooked numerous times, and it just isn’t right. Alan Ball, Charlaine Harris, and the marvelous cast and crew work very hard and deserve a nomination!! If and when they are nominated we all know that they would sweep the Emmys off their feet.. That’s how phenomenal the cast and crew are, and we all know it even though the Emmy people doesn’t!!

    • Nia

You are very welcome. We both speak from the heart and feel as many other fans do. To bad the Emmy people really do not listen to the little people. They should! They cannot and should not ignore our passion for this amazing show.
Stephen should have been nominated for lead actor at least. Not just presenting. I will watch only to see him.

      • Loleaf

        I agree 110%!!!

To me it seems like an insult.. They seem to think it’s good enough to present an award but not to be nominated for one! They show us the Emmy but won’t give one to us.. we should be outraged. The Emmy’s want the fans of True Blood to watch to make up the demegraphic needed for viewing purposes!! Well maybe next year(seems like we’ve said that before!!).. True Blood has shown the Emmy people that there is a huge fanbase behind the show, and we are outraged to be snubbed yet again.. It seems like their feet only makes it in the door only to be shut on. Maybe the third season they will have paid their dues and be nominated. You would think by going by the ratings and amount of people watching those would be paid up by now!! But, that is just my own opinion!!!

    • Nia

      Loleaf, you speak volumes!!!!!!

  • debi

Finally, a good reason to watch!!

  • lilly

How cool is that!.. Go Stephen!

I was going to snub the Emmys this year as True Blood was snubbed, but now I have the only excellant reason for watching. The Emmy powers that be must have realized their mistake and offered an olive branch. Too little too late. Its sad that this wonderful show and all the amazing performances by these terrific actors were overlooked.
