Stephen Moyer to be on Regis & Kelly

July 13, 2010 by

The show Live! with Regis and Kelly is going to be taking a trip to Canada to the beautiful province of Prince Edward Island to film a few episodes there. It will be broadcasting from Charlottetown’s outdoor stage in Confederation Landing Park while there between July 12-15. Several guests will be on the show as always, and one of them is True Blood‘s Stephen Moyer.

Stephen will appear on the show Wednesday, July 14, 2010 along with Melanie Fiona.

Just some background information on where the show will be broadcasting:

“LIVE” will originate from Confederation Landing Park in historic Charlottetown, capital city of Prince Edward Island. Regis Philbin and Kelly Ripa will transplant LIVE’s own brand of entertainment-oriented talk to the island, with the natural beauty of the province providing a colorful backdrop to the show’s celebrity guests and musical performances. LIVE’s viewers will be able to join them in experiencing the wide range of activities that PEI has to offer, as they explore the island from end to end, and delve into the region’s history, food and culture.

Prince Edward Island is located on the east coast of Canada. The Island is Canada’s smallest and greenest province. It is a place of natural beauty and is famous for red sand beaches, potatoes, and the irrepressible Anne of Green Gables. The Government of Prince Edward Island through the Department of Tourism and Culture is responsible to build awareness of the destination and to generate visitation.”

I have never been to PEI but have heard how beautiful it is.

I am so excited to see Stephen on Regis and Kelly again. The interview Stephen did last year with them was so wonderful. It was his first American interview and he was such a gentleman, witty and fun, always such a pleasure to watch.
I believe that Kelly got 3 kisses and wanted more!!
I do not blame her!! LOL

My DVR will be set!!!!! I never ever miss his interviews. He is always so entertaining.

    Congratulations to Stephen!!

    Thanks for posting Isis!!!

Oh Nia, We don’t get Kelly and Regis, so will have to rely on it being posted on the site. That way I can watch Steve in buffering glory!

I have only been to the West Coast of Canada. Would love to do the train trip across Canada!

  • Yes!! I am so watching the show…gotta see Stephen…sexy man, that he is….

This is utterly awesome. My family and I go to PEI every summer. Usually for about two weeks. Charlottetown is nice but the North Shore, Cavendish, is so much nicer. I hope they will be doing some filming from there. The color contrast of the green fields, with the blue ocean and the red sand cliffs are not to be imagined. Beautiful beaches and golf courses. Quaint little fishing villages.

I wish we were going this year but my jrViking is taking driver’s ed this summer for his license 🙁 Dang. It would have been awesome to meet Stephen there. I am sure that he will love the island.

The people are so friendly and very low key. Just as I imagine Stephen to be. Yeah, True Blood is every where! BTW for those who have never ventured to the Canadian Maritimes well worth the trip. Warmest water north of the Carolinas at Prince Edward Island. A very well kept secret indeed.

Thanks PBT, although I live in Ottawa, I have been in PEI several times, and love it. Cavendish is nice and I love all the Anne of Green Gables stuff that’s there. One of the best restaurants I have ever dined at is in Charlottetown though, it’s called the Pilot House. Excellent. I’m sure they will all love Steve, after all, what’s not to love? I will definitely be recording that episode of Regis and Kelly. Too bad I can’t be there.

Love Ottawa and have been there several times especially the art museum. Actually have traveled to almost all of the provinces. My brother resides in Calgary, Alberta and his wife is formerly from Saskatchewan. Yes, we are an international family. He still holds dual citizenship in both countries.

There are many fine restaurants in Charlottetown. I especially enjoy the PEI Mussels. They are absolutely delish and a must do when we go there. Not to be outdone by the Nova Scotia scallops. Digby is also another favorite stop and Cape Breton for their crabs. As you can see, I enjoy all the fav seafood spots.

I am not a huge fan of the Anne of Green Gables stuff but have visited the homestead only once when my daughter was very little. I especially enjoy sitting on the beach and painting. Artist here. I like the National Park at Cavendish especially but there are many fine venues all over that island and look forward to the show. I am making my top five list now of places that they should visit. I hope they them out on a lobster boat. LOL. That would be an absolute hoot!
