Where Does Bill Go From Here?:

True Blood's Stephen Moyer as Bill Compton

True Blood’s Season 6 took Bill(Stephen Moyer) on a intense journey, as we saw the depth of his character continue to progress. He was the egomancial Billith, then the concerned Father, then the attempted Martyr, and by the finale we saw the side of Bill that we all fell in love with in Season 1.  Billith is no more, and yet the experience will surely live in him and impact future choices he makes. But what can we expect from Season 7? TVline got the dirt with Show Runner Brian Buckner, where he finally had the opportunity to speak out after the Season 6 finale.

When Asked if “Season 7 would be a Reset of sorts for Bill” Brian responds:

“Absolutely. We don’t want Bill to be an a—hole. The question we’re going to be asking this coming season is: Can Bill be forgiven? Because he made his intentions clear. I think Bill doesn’t have a trick up his sleeve this time. I think he’s genuine. The real question is about forgiveness.”

I don’t think that Bill should be the only one headed on a pursuit of forgiveness, after all Faerie Princess Sookie Stackhouse(Anna Paquin) did try to stake him…

So Truebies what do you think? Will Bill get the forgiveness that he seeks in Season 7? Let us know in the comments below!

True Blood Season 6 SPOILER: Episode 5

March 20, 2013

Promo poster for HBO's True BloodIt appears, thanks to SpoilerTV, that the title of Episode 5 in Season 6 of HBO’s True Blood will be called: ‘F*ck The Pain Away’.

With a title like that, fans could be led to believe that all is not rosy for someone in Bon Temps. When SpoilerTV goes on to say that there is a role call for actors to play the parents of newcomer Ben (Rob Kazinsky), then there is speculation maybe Sookie (Anna Paquin) is the one suffering?

Since Ben is a fairy, it would appear his parents are too. However, we will see them via a flashback in this episode – so are they still alive?

What are your theories on Season 6 of True Blood? Let us know in the comments below.

Carrie Preston, True Blood’s Arlene, Dishes to TV Fanatic

August 4, 2011

Carrie Preston Talks Behind the Scenes with a Baby:

Carrie Preston (True Blood’s Arlene Fowler) Stunning in Blue Off Shoulder Dress

Recently, TV Fanatic spoke with Carrie Preston, who plays Arlene Fowler on True Blood.  Carrie dishes about last week’s True Blood episode, “I Wish I Was the Moon“, where Arlene’s suspicions about baby Mikey being possessed escalate when her house burns down.

Overall, Arlene has stepped into the spotlight more than ever this season. She labels the baby arc as “very exciting and fun,” although it “presents challenges.” Such as?

There’s often someone with a squeaky toy standing behind the camera.

“Acting with a baby is not something that comes naturally,” Preston said. “They’re really good babies, but they’re babies nonetheless.”

During the interview Carrie drops a spoiler about the mysterious woman baby Mikey saw outside the house when it was on fire and he was found wandering in the grass! Don’t click on the link if you don’t want to be spoiled but if you don’t mind a few teasers, go and read the rest of the interview at the TV Fanatic!

Season 4 Spoiler: Whose House Will Burn?

February 16, 2011

True Blood is Set to Explode

Eagle RockIt has been reported that part of the town used as a prime location for Bon Temps in HBO’s show, True Blood, is about to go up in flames.

Eagle Patch is a small town in Los Angeles that is currently used for the small group of houses that once housed Dawn Green. Most recently, Sam Merlotte let his family move in to 5038 Ellenwood Dr.

Eagle Rock Patch managed to speak to a security guard on the set, who confirmed that gas canisters were being set up in the front windows of the bungalows. These canisters will give the appearance of  the entire house being engulfed in flames. While only the front of each structure will burn this way, it will effectively destroy all the houses.

Apparently, this is what the owner of the bungalows wants. Clearing the houses by fire is a cheap way to clear the land of the old houses, which were built in 1922. Of course, the location fees are just an added bonus. It is unsure what will be built on the land once the houses are gone.

When asked if he was a fan of the show the security guard replied:

I used to, but the show is on Sunday nights, so I’d see it when I’d come home from church. It wasn’t good for my soul.

Well, it looks set to be a fiery new season, if this latest report is anything to go by!

November 29, 2010

true-blood-sam-trammell-shirtlessSeen on E!Online’s Watch with Kristin column:

@Shanwink (via Twitter): True Blood goss!
Episode two of season four (which premieres Sunday, June 12!), is set at Fangtasia and called “You Smell Like Dinner.” Fangbanger smorgasbord, anyone? A source on set also told me they are building some sort of bakery and/or pie shop for the upcoming season three. Oh God. Maybe Strawberry Shortcake’s nemesis is the new big bad?! They’re also building a “weird looking metal shack” and allowing Sam (Sam Trammell) to go more grey this season. You heard it here first, people! (Sorry if we just ruined the whole season for you.)

Alan Ball Hints Storyline Twist For Season 3

September 18, 2009

alan-ball-photo Alan Ball recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly about what the future might hold for True Blood couple, Bill and Sookie in season 3. Alan Ball stated that he isn’t ruling out the possibility of incorporating a major (and controversial) plot point that occurs in the books, which up to now, has only been hinted at in the series.  In reference to the plot twist regarding Bill‘s deep dark secret Alan states :

“It’s certainly something that I found really compelling in the books … I was like, ‘Wow.’ But I can’t really tell you what I’m going to do story-wise. So much of the appeal of the show depends on the element of surprise.”

While many Sookie and Bill fans are hoping the creator of HBO’s hit TV series doesn’t go there, Eric fans are hoping it turns around for their favorite vampire.

Bill and Sookie fans are hoping that Alan decides not to incorporate this into the show since it could drive the couple apart and set up the scenario for Eric to make his moves onto Sookie and bring them together.  In regards to how he deals with fans from both camps trying to influence his approach in the show Alan said:

“I try to stay out of how the fans are responding to the show…I have to tell the story that I think is the most interesting story. Certainly, the main ingredient in drama is conflict and revelations. For every person who loves Bill and wants him and Sookie to just be in love always, there’s another person who’s like, ‘I’m sick of Bill. He’s such a wuss. I like Eric. He’s dangerous.’ Especially when you’re working on a show like this with the kind of palette and the colors you use; you want it to be continually surprising and shocking. Not for the sake of being shocking, but that’s part of the fun.”

We will have to just wait and see what Alan has in store for True Blood fans. We all know Alan is a fantastic storyteller and will have us biting our nails as we will be watching season 3 when it returns in the summer.
