Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’hoole is based  a book series by Kathryn Lasky. The movie focuses on the owl Soren who is fascinated by his father’s tales of the Guardians of Ga’hoole. These mythical guardians rescued the whole owl kind from the “Pure Ones.”

Soren’s brother Kludd (voiced by Ryan Kwanten) doesn’t buy the stories and a sibling rivalry culminates to a face-to-face meeting with the Pure Ones. It takes an adventurous owl like Soren to find the Guardians and help protect their kind.
