True Blood Season 2: New Spoiler Tidbits

June 4, 2009 by

true-blood-season-two-bill-and-sookieMichael Ausiello from presents for us a few more tidbits about season 2 of Alan Ball’s hit HBO TV series True Blood that returns on Sunday, June 14, 2009 at 9PM/ET on HBO.  One reader wrote in asking the  question whether we will see Bill and Sookie travel to Dallas as they did in the book series.  Mr. Ausiello responds by telling us that in the fourth episode of season two Bill, (Stephen Moyer), Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) go to Dallas where there’s a surprise waiting for them at the airport. Later on an even bigger shock awaits Sookie when, special visitor drops by her hotel room.  Now this has me thinking who could they be referring to?  The blood hookers, Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) or could this be when we see Lorena dropping by?  Oh the possibilities are endless so we will have to just wait and see.

The other question that was asked was whether anything is going to happen between Sookie and Eric?  Now the answer that Mr. Ausiello gives is not one many were expecting and perhaps leads to more questions then giving us an answer.  Mr. Ausiello states that something does happen in the first four episodes but it  may lead one to believe Eric has eyes for someone else (hint: it’s a dude!).  With that we have to wait and see and ponder in our minds what could possibly happen.

I already have a few disagreements with the first season but all around i liked it. that said, if the make Eric GAY! I will be pissed, and I also will no longer watch the show. Ridiculous!

I have to say, if AB makes Eric gay, w/out the possiblity of swinging both ways, I’m out as far as the show goes. I’d rather read the books. Eric is one of my favorite fictional characters and he can’t stay true to that character, I would no longer have any interest in the series. Which makes me sad, but I won’t have a TV show ruin my enjoyment of the books.

I would have to agree. I understand that the show has to have some differences from the books but as Eric is my favorite character – to make him that unlike who he is just a travesty. Some of the differences have been interesting & some just plain suck. I won’t be happy with that one.
