True Blood Season 3 Viral Ad Poster #2 – VILF

March 31, 2010 by

HBO has released its second viral ad poster to promote season 3 of True Blood and this time they are putting a spin on a popular acronym. The second True Blood poster simply has a red background with the acronym “VILF” written on it.  If you hare not familiar with the term it means “vampire I would like to ….,”  well you get the point.  So what do you think of the latest poster?  Is it a hit or a miss?  Love to hear your comments below.

I love, love, love it and thought of only one vampire and that is Mr Eric Northman yum, yum, yum…………………..

Hopefully it will be avaiable in T-Shirt form?

LOL, Missyella. I’d love to get the T-shirt and walk around seeing what people’s reactions are to it. Too funny. 🙂

Not their best poster, but I don’t hate it. We can put whoever we want in that category. That’s the beauty of this one. One VILF poster fits all!!!

  • Theresa

Miss – don’t like it at all

  • Obviously means Bill imo! It can also mean all the other Vamps that will be appearing in S3! Whoever takes your fancy!

  • I’m just square enough to not know what this meant so I had to do some research….I guess it is ok, but I won’t post it on my fan page.

  • Antonio

When I saw this poster the first thing that popped into my head was Eric lol
Eric should have been in this poster ^-^

  • Love it — lol!

I second Chris’ comment. After some of the other posters we’ve seen, this feels boring and could quite possibly be fan made.

Eh, miss. I love TB’s clever and sexy marketing, but this one is so plain compared to the other ones. It seems that it was thought of last minute. It also looks like it’s fan made.
