True Blood Season 4 Spoiler: Portia Bellefleur has been Cast

November 11, 2010 by

Courtney Ford Will Be Portia Bellefleur

The cast of True Blood is getting bigger and bigger! Another new character has been cast for Season 4. Portia Bellefleur will be played by Courtney Ford, an alumni of Showtime’s Dexter. Portia is a strong woman who runs her own law practice and is the sister of Bon Temps detective Andy Bellefleur (Chris Bauer). However, Portia will not be a series regular. Instead, the role is described as being recurring.

If you recognize Courtney, there’s a good reason why. She was Christine Hill on Dexter, and recently was in an episode of The Vampire Diaries. Courtney also has been on NCIS like fellow True Blood stars Todd Lowe and Lindsay Pulsipher.

What do you think of Courtney being cast? Does she fit your vision of Portia? Let us know what you think in the comments.

HEr Character sounds real bring what is going on with True Blood They were my favorite and I loved every character of all the characters even the ones I love to hate. I hope there more of portia than her bring law practive and just pciking up Andy Belleflur when He decides to get drunk again.

I’m disappointed in the casting for Portia. Courtney isn’t what I imagined at all. Portia isn’t supposed to be that attractive, and I thought she was supposed to be somewhat “beefier”? Oh well… True Blood is True Blood.

    • I agree…the books made her to seem like a larger woman, not fat, but more broader and thicker? Not what I pictured at all!

I love to hear that they’re casting. That means they will be shooting S4 soon. And that means more spoilers for us. YAY!!! 🙂
