True Blood’s Upcoming (Unofficial) Companion Book

March 1, 2010 by

Fans cannot get enough True Blood. And lucky us, neither can writers.

“Truly, Madly, Deadly: The Unofficial True Blood Companion” by Rebecca Wilcott will provide readers with episode analysis, interesting essays, and insightful interviews. Wilcott is keenly aware of the attention span of the internet age and takes that into consideration when arranging her interviews.

“… a chunk of my interviews will run as unique sidebars to retain the pace of the conversation  and the interviewee’s original voice. Cause that’s the best kind of chit chat, isn’t it? The kind that feels like you could be in a pub or coffee shop, just two people getting more and more jazzed about their topic.”

Interviews include Kristin Bauer (Pam), Patricia Bethune (Jane Bodehouse), AND the creator of Sookie and her world, Charlaine Harris. The cover art of this upcoming book was recently released.

“Truly, Madly, Deeply: The Unofficial True Blood Companion” has a tentative release date in, you guessed it, June, from ECW Press.

Ive always wondered Why there waas No Official True Blood Guide to The Series!! There were several guides official or otherwise regarding the Sopranos~~I’ve bought a couple of them before!
There are Countless guides to Twilight,New Moon,Rpatz and Kstew,Taylor Lautner You Name it…And yet NO True Blood guides to be bought…Why?? I had asked once at a local book and magazine retailer and the bookseller told me that they just did not put 1 out at least not a definitive 1. When I asked why he said point blank “I Don’t Know…I’m sure they would sell like hotcakes!”
There are Many posters of Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart and yet NONE of Stephen & Anna?? Is there No 1 who would put a poster of this white-hot couple on their wall or in their garage?? I’m glad about this book but as far as i’m concerned it may be a case of too little, too late! JMHO

Uh, Darren Hayes and Daniel Jones had BETTER be getting royalties for the use of the title of one of their songs in the title of this book!

    • SQUEE! Another Savage Garden fan! I agree completely with you about this!
