True Blood Wins At The 2009 Creative Arts Awards

true-blood-posterLast night at the 2009 Creative Arts Emmy Awards Junie Lowry Johnson and Libby Goldstein won for Outstanding Casting for a Drama Series in “True Blood.” The casting duo beat their competition that included the casting teams from “The Tudors” on Showtime, “Mad Men” on AMC, “Damages” on FX and “Friday Night Lights” on NBC.  Congratulations to both Ms. Johnson and Ms. Goldstein for their win and to HBO for winning 16 golden Emmy statuettes in various categories at the 2009 Creative Arts Emmy.

Don’t forget the 2009 Primetime Emmy Awards will be held at the NOKIA theatre in downtown Los Angeles, CA on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at 8 pm EDT on the CBS Network.

    Boy I just wish the ACTORS would get a nod!Nelson,Rutina,Sam and of course Ryan, Alex,Stephen and Anna! Hope they don’t ignore them at next year’s Emmys-its so hard to pretend this show is not MARVELOUS(I.E. actors)!
