True Blood Wins Tubey Awards

September 15, 2009 by

true-blood-paleyfestThis year Bravo’s TelevisionWithoutPity.com partnered with TV Guide Magazine, Mediaweek and AccessHollywood.com to bring the Tubey Awards, where fans voted for the best, worst, most improved and just plain craziest characters, series, moments and more from the 2008-2009 television season. This year a record-breaking 2.4 million votes were cast in 80 different categories and Alan Ball‘s hit HBO TV vampire series True Blood won in two categories:  Best New Show and Guiltiest Pleasure Show.  Also congratulations to Michael Emerson (Carrie Preston‘s husband) for Best Villain as Ben Linus in ABC’s  “Lost”.

Congratulations to Alan Ball and the entire cast and crew of True Blood for winning the Tubey Awards.  As we can all see if the voting is left to the viewing audience and fans, True Blood would be declared the winner each time.
