True Blood’s Anna Paquin Makes her New Zealand Family Proud
On the other side of the globe Anna Paquin’s family learned that she won Best Actress in TV Drama on Monday, mid-afternoon New Zealand time. Her family back home in New Zealnd stated that they were very excited and proud for her win and that “we’ll certainly be toasting Anna tonight, we’ll crack open a bottle of bubbly and toast her.” Now only will Anna’s family will soon have the opportunity to see Anna’s performance on “True Blood,” but so will the rest of New Zealand when Season 1 of “True Blood” premieres sometime in February. Based on the success it has had in North America it seems that it is destined to be a hit when it premieres across Europe, Asia, Isreal, South America, Australia and New Zealand.
