Deborah Ann Woll Moves Straight From Jessica Hamby to Karen Page:
Fans of HBO’s True Blood will be sad to see a lot of their fave actors leaving the small screen come the end of Season 7, but, for fans of Deborah Ann Woll (who plays baby vampire, Jessica Hamby), there is good news!
It has just been announced by The Hollywood Reporter and confirmed by E!Online that Deborah will be joining the cast of the newest Netflix show, Daredevil. Not only is she joining the cast, but she will be playing the major role of Karen Page. This character is a blind lawyer by day and a crime fighting hero by night:
Netflix picked up the 13-episode Daredevil — along with Jessica Jones, Iron Fist and Luke Cage, as well as miniseries The Defenders — in a massive pact with Marvel. Daredevil is the first series out of the pack, debuting in 2015. It is produced by Marvel Television and ABC Studios.

Daredevil (who will be played by actor Charlie Cox in the Netflix series) was a character created by the fabulous Stan Lee and Karen Page has been his longest running love interest in the comic strip. Previously Karen has been portrayed as merely his love interest in both the comics and the movie (starring Ben Affleck as Daredevil and Ellen Pompeo as Karen Page). According to a source via The Hollywood Reporter, this is about to change:
The Netflix series marks the first time the Karen character will be brought to life in a meaningful way.
