True Blood’s Nathan Parsons to Star in Point of Honor Pilot

Nathan Parsons Goes from From Vampire to the Civil War:
It has just been announced that Australian actor Nathan Parsons (who played vampire James in Season 7 of HBO’s True Blood) has joined the cast of Point of Honor. He will play the main character John Rodes. According to Deadline, who broke the news, this is the synopsis for the pilot:
[Point of Honor] centers on best friends and brothers-in-law, John Rodes (Nathan Parsons) and Robert Sumner (Christopher O’Shea), who find themselves on opposite sides of the conflict.
This TV show will join others in Amazon’s fourth pilot season. Point of Honor is directed by Randall Wallace. Wallace and Carlton Cuse are listed as writers. The show also stars Brett Cullen (Ralston Rhodes), James Harvey Ward (Cutler), Keith Tyree (Mr. Craddock), Luke Benward (Garland Rhodes) and Cory Scott Allen alongside Nathan Parsons and Christopher O’Shea.
