ABC News recently interviewed Mariana Klaveno regarding her role as Lorena on Alan Ball‘s hit HBO TV vampire series True Blood. During the interview Mariana discussed the infamous twisted sex scene she shared with Stephen Moyer (Bill Compton) and how she held on to her regular job as hostess at a restaurant throughout season two. Mariana is really a very sweet and wonderful person and her ability to make us hate Lorena is a prime example of her incredible acting abilities. Enjoy the video!

Lorena has become a character you love to hate..which i feel is a credit to her skills as an actress. She really makes this role her own. There have been quite a few scenes now this season where the Lorena/Bill scenes have been more and more intense and visceral. It would be nice if they kept her on the show for a while longer…Her character is really something! In many ways,Its quite interesting to see Both Bill and Sookie’s relationships with Others…Bill and his twisted rellationship with his maker Lorena (Always a pleasure watching flashbacks).Of Course, Sookie and her relationships with others in her life…her bf Tara,Sam who remains a good friend and her growing relationship with the ever brooding Eric Northman…She may despise him but there is something there. I feel there will also be somme kind of attraction between her and Alcide.
This season has just been Awesome! Great drama especially after this past week! Mariana,Stephen,Anna,Alex & Joe are all truly gifted actors!! This year,All I can say is Wow!

Mariana is a versatile and stunning actor, and seems to pragmatic and have her head together. I’m certain that every casting agent in town is now aware of her, and I look forward to seeing her on the big screen in the future.

Isn’t Mariana a great girl!! So well spoken and prsented. I hope she gets lots of jobs from her break in TB. I just can’t imagine anyone else playing the role of Lorena other than Mariana. I wish her well. Glad she mentioned our Stephen in her clip and said what a wonderful actor he is (we all knew that anyhow, but still nice to hear).
