VIDEO: True Blood’s Anna Camp on Being a Fourth Grade Drug Dealer
August 14, 2014 by Rachel Tsoumbakos
Anna Camp’s First Acing Gig Was as a Drug Dealer!
True Blood’s Anna Camp (who plays Sarah Newlin in the HBO vampire series) has been acting for a long time. But in this hilarious video interview she did with Conan O’Brien recently, she talks about her very first acting gig – that of a drug dealer! She was only in the fourth grade, but the school decided a stage production on the dangers of drugs would be a great way to get the discussion started on the war against drugs.
Anna lets us know what a fourth grade drug dealer would wear to be totally ‘hardcore’ while selling bags of jellybeans. As well as that she discusses the fact that she always seems to play the villain and just how cathartic it is to act out pummeling someone to death with a shoe.
