Write Your Own True Blood Episode For Entertainment Weekly

September 5, 2009 by

gw433Undoubtedly, we will be miserable this Labor Day weekend without a new episode of True Blood.  However, Entertainment Weekly has come to the rescue.  Ken Tucker invites you to submit your entry into the “Write Your Own True Blood Episode” competition.   Here are the details:

“Starting now until Sunday at 9 a.m. EST, please use the comments section to write a quick summary of the True Blood episode you wish was airing this Sunday, Sept. 6.”

All you need is a few sentences that outline your plot.  Ken says:

“Describe an episode in a way similar to those ‘log lines’ that your cable provider gives you. You know, like ‘Bill asks the Vampire Queen for help; Sookie and Lafayette try to save Tara but encounter an angry Maryann’-that sort of thing.”

Your plot should go along with season two’s storyline.  Winners will be announced on Sunday night, Sept. 6 at 9 p.m.  There will be categories such as Best Written, The Funniest and The Craziest.  Don’t miss True Blood’s season two finale on Sunday, September 13, 2009 at 9pm EDT on HBO.

  • Thanks for reading, guys! I hope you all went to EW.com and submitted your “episodes” as well! 🙂

  • what I wish was airing this sunday, is that Sookie and Bill lose the battle to Maryann but the queen vampire steps in to defeat her. After everything seems to be getting back to normal Tara get’s sick throwing up etc… Lafayette goes to the house and make Tara go to the doctor and she finds out that she’s pregnant by eggs, but later realizes that eggs is not whom he appears to be. In closing Bill should walk in on Sookie and Bill kissing, Bill is angry, but not realizing that Eric has used his powers to try and seduce Sookie. That how it should go off until the next season.

Eric and the Queen scheme how to keep Bill quiet since they are both dealing V; Maryann tries to take Sookie’s “powers”; Sam and Bill devise a staged plan to vanquish Maryann; Sookie tries to figure out a way to deal with Eggs, Tara and Lafayette; Hoyt misses Jessica; Lorena comes back and devises a way to kidnap Bill; Eric flies in and saves Bon Temp, for a price.

BILL SHOULD BE THE ONE TO KILL MARYANN BECAUSE HE IS THE VAMPIRE THAT STILL HAS HIS HUMANITY MARYANN MAY NOT BE HUMAN ANYMORE BUT SHE STILL THINKS LIKE A HUMAN SO BILL IS THE GOOD CHOICE TO GET RID OF MARYANN.

Dude, lemor. Don’t be a troll. Don’t you know that on a thread it’s impolite to use caps and YELL?

Bill’s betrayal ,a la SVMs, should be revealed. Sookie should use her Fae magic to save Tara and restore Sam ,or whomever was sacrificed, to life, and help defeat Maryanne. Eric should participate in Sook’s rescue thus driving the plot toward the closer relationship they have in CD.

sorry i didn’t know that caps meant yelling.

          “Take me as I am”
Maryann & Lafayette bring Sookie to the ritual. Bill brings Sam
as an offering to Maryann’s God. Maryann takes her knife plunges into Sam’s heart, at that moment, he shafeshifts into a fly, the knifes which such force goes into her chest, she dies. Angered by her death, Eggs gets the knife and tries to kill Sookie, just then Eric comes, grabs the knife, kills Eggs, looks at Sookie with his fangs exposed and then she realizes how much she LOVES ERIC!!!

  • Thanks, John! Be sure to go to the link of the source and submit your entry with Entertainment Weekly.

Sam gives into Maryanne. Bill has dissappared, with Sookie having no way out of Maryanne’s “claws”. The Vampire Queen and Eric arrange a plan for Sookie to be his. Sookie becomes apart of Maryannes ritual, with the whole town “black eyed” and under Maryanne’s physotic command. Someone will die.
