Support Ryan Kwanten in Race for the Cure

Support Ryan Kwanten as he participates in the Los Angeles County Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, a fundraiser for breast cancer research, on March 14, 2010 with registration beginning at 6:30am, opening ceremonies at 8:15am and the run starting at 9:00am.

Fans can donate to Team Kwanten by visiting his Sponsor Page and entering a donation amount. If you are unable to donate online you can also print a donation form.

More than 15,000 supporters are expected to attend Sunday’s event at Dodger Stadium.

Team Kwanten has raised $45 so far, and every dollar makes a difference according to the Susan G. Komen Web site, so if you have them means, make a donation to one of our favorite Bon Temps characters and help find the cure for cancer.

Connie I think you are very confused. They are FILMING season 3 right NOW. They are airing either season 1 or season 2 in other countries RIGHT NOW.

Secondly it was NEVER title the Sookie Stackhouse series. It is called True Blood! Therefore instead of going into alot of details which I have and others on this site have mentioned before Alan Ball has the creative rights to do as he pleases and even Charlaine is HAPPY with it. If she is happy with it I don’t understand why aren’t you?

Thirdly, if the TV show or the film have the SAME TITLE as the books then of course there must be CLOSE similarities between the two and cannot go too far off. However, if the show or film has a DIFFERENT TITLE from a book then the show or film has the creative right to take as much or as little as they want from the book and change things around. The show and film then becomes an ADAPTATION of a book and therefore forms the basic premise for the storyline in the TV show and film.

Even though this has nothing to do with the post and the wonderful cause that Ryan is doing I thought I should clear up your confusion. 🙂

I hate to say this since True Blood started as such a good series, however in The second series of stories you changed it from the Sookie Stackhouse novels to something else, and that wasn’t good. Now you decided to show the 3rd series in other countries and forgot about the USA where it started. At this point I hove no idea if I will ever watch True Blood again. Several of my friends feel the same way.

BTW: Whatever happened to the Sookie Stackhouse series/books!!!!
