True Blood Actress Helps Out

Dale Raoul, who plays everyone’s favorite mum on HBO’s True Blood, Maxine Fortenberry, has posted to her Facebook fan page about her latest charity appearance. Here is what she had to say about it:

“I attended a benefit this week in Beverly Hills for the United Nations Refugee Agency, specifically to raise funds for the victims of the terrible flooding in Pakistan – please check out www.unrefugees.org – very informative and eye-opening.”

She also posted a photo from the event which shows herself, Mozhdah Jamalzadah (known as the Oprah of Afghanistan) and Afghani actress Azita Ghanizdada.
