Alan Ball sat down a while back for a radio interview with Mara Davis that was videotaped. In this radio interview Mr. Ball discusses his various works including “Six Feet Under”, “Towelhead” and of course “True Blood”. Perhaps the statements that really stuck with me were his comments that he stays true to himself by producing works that touch him emotionally and personally. It was wonderful listening to the creative genius of Alan Ball and getting a sense of how down-to-earth he is and genuine he is in his approach to his work.
