True Blood Cast Eye Off Mementos

What Would You Keep?

With only five  more episodes to go in this final season of HBO’s True Blood, cast members talk about what mementos they 5 eps leftwould like to have from their time on set.

Anna Paquin (who plays main character, Sookie Stackhouse) said that she has lived so much of her life on that set:

This has been creatively, the most exciting thing I’ve ever got to do, I mean, I’ve gotten to live with this character for seven years…

Kristen Bauer (Pam) tells us that her eye is on a leather jacket, the one with studded shoulders that was made for her. Ryan Kwanten (Jason Stackhouse), thinks the only thing he’d like is the “Stackhouse” badge that he wears as a cop in the series.

As for Deborah Ann Woll (who plays vampire Jessica Hamby)?

I would really, really like her little red riding hood cape.

Lauren Bowles (Holly Cleary) and Sam Trammel (Sam Merlotte), would both like something from Merlotte’s:

It was my place of employment, they’ve got the gumbo, I’ve looked at it; when ever I’m bored or sad, I stared at them…

Nelsen Ellis would  like to take Lafayette’s eyelashes:

… ’cause they made me feel pretty.

Check out the video below, you can watch the full video on what the True Blood stars would like to keep from their time on set:

As a diehard  Truebie, what would you like if you were on set on that final day?

Personally, I think I’d like to take one of Alcide’s shirts.

True Blood’s Joe Manganiello Turns Teacher to Conan O’Brien

Check out Joe’s Stripper Moves!

Joe Manganiello stars as Alcide Herveaux in HBOs True Blood Season 7Recently, Joe Manganiello who plays Alcide on True Blood appeared on Conan O’Brien’s late night show, and helped him with his stripper moves and stripper name referring to his role in Magic Mike where he played a character called Big Dick Richie.

The name is very important, if you have the wrong name in stripping I can see you wouldn’t make a lot of tips.

Joe then proceeded to give Conan a stripper name: Big Red,

Like a viking, with the helmet and tear away armor. Like I’m here to pillage your village.

Conan then got Joe to ‘direct’ him and show him the body roll that is one of the most important moves in stripping.

If you are going to make money as a stripper there is a move called the body roll …

If you want to see the whole video, and watch Joe do that move, click HERE; it’s certainly worth a look in!

True Blood Season 7: Meet Newcomer Nathan Parsons

This Aussie Loves Being the New James:

Deborah Ann Woll (Jessica Hamby) and Nathan Parsons (James) star in HBO's True Blood Season 7With the final season of HBO’s True Blood already half way done now, we are now meeting an amazing new character who is enjoying a fabulous story line.

Born in Australia, but raised in the US, Nathan Parson’s, took over the role of James the vampire for this season after Luke Grimes stepped away from the role at the end of Season 6.

As Nathan says in an article with Australian newspaper The Morning Bulletin;

The character of James wasn’t that well established in season six…You sort of met him but you didn’t get his story. It is odd taking someone’s part, but he was such a small character in season six now I think we can go a totally different direction with it and I think we will be forgiven.”

And what a different direction that is! The love triangle between James, Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) and Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) started in the first episode of this season when James opens up to Lafayette about how he was turned.

Nathan says it was his friendship with Deborah Ann Woll, and mentor-ship of  Stephen Moyer (Bill Compton),  that has helped him settle into the role alongside all the complex characters.

We [Deborah] went to college together so it was really comfortable to just step in… So much happens so quickly it sort of takes your breath away. This is how True Blood works. You get on the show and you’re thrust into the blood, sex and violence.”

The direction of the James character has also been helped along by Stephen Moyer, who gave him tips on how to be a vampire!

Every vampire show has different rules and different ways of doing things. It was good to have Stephen there to say ‘okay when your fangs click out this is how I do it, this is what you need to think about’. I got tips on being a vampire from Vampire Bill himself.

Stay tuned to see what happens to this new delicious vampire in True Blood Season 7’s second half!

True Blood’s Jessica Hamby: Social Media Baby Vamp or Zealot?

Find Out What Jessica Has to Say About Drinking Fairies:

Deborah Ann Woll stars as baby vampire Jessica Hamby in HBO's True Blood Season 7In Episode 4 of the final season of True Blood we see Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) struggling with her 10 week abstinence from blood – her life force. She posts a blog about how the blood of Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) running through her veins feels so good on Baby Vamp -Jessica.com but about half way through her musings she is interrupted by Violet (Karolina Wydra) who asks her what she is doing on her laptop. When she finds out she is talking to her followers, Violet mocks her by asking,

“Do these shoes look good with my outfit? Does my boyfriend like my hair?”

Violet then pulls Jessica down a peg by comparing her blogging to the zealots in  the days of the Crusades.

“Religious zealots burned my village to the ground, killing every man woman and child that did not agree to accept their truth”.

Only to give her the ultimate compliment and say;

“…I never saw you as the leader type, Impressive.”

Violet goes on to caution Jessica to get her last words right, as they are very important for a leader. You can watch the full video below – make sure you watch to the very end for an unexpected ‘surprise’. Let us know your thoughts by commenting below!

True Blood’s Tara Buck Talks Big Hair, Big Screams and Big Backstory

Ginger’s Story Unfolds in True Blood Season 7:

Who knew that Ginger (Tara Buck) invented Fangtasia? HBO's True Blood Season 7 Episode 4 (Death is Not the End)Ginger (Tara Buck) is one of those characters in HBO’s True Blood that you just love for no reason at all. But its in Episode 4 of this season, we started to see behind the over-glamored veil of Ginger’s fan-girl-dom surrounding Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard), Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) and vampires in general, leading us to know her just a little bit better and love her just a little bit more.

We see smart and vamp-smitten college student Ginger walk into the video store owned by  Eric and Pam only to realize that;

  1. They were vamps
  2. They were hiring
  3. Her life long dream of ‘being with’ a vampire could actually happen!

The scene with Ginger talking Pam’s ear off, about vampire movies, when Eric walks into the store it was described by Tara Buck as;

This is Ginger’s whole True Blood experience in this moment. [Laughs] At first Gregg [Fienberg] wanted it to be pretty subtle. And then we laughed, and we’re like, “You know what, let’s try not subtle, but it’s all internal. It’s still Ginger in 1996, so it’s not like a screaming over-the-top Ginger. It’s still a smart girl whose knees go weak and she can hardly stand up.”

The screaming things started way back in Season 1, quite by accident but it soon became ‘Ginger’s thing’;

She’s in that great scene where Bill (Stephen Moyer) stakes Longshadow (Raoul Trujillo), and he disintegrates, and I throw up. Sookie (Anna Paquin) is covered from head to toe in blood, so I think she and I both scream. It wasn’t a planned thing. When I came back, again it wasn’t necessarily there, but then I put it in. I started screaming, and then it became a running gag. I kept thinking, especially after Season 2, I was like, “I’ve got to stop screaming. How much can you scream before people want to put your eyes out?”

In this season we get to see so much of Ginger’s back story how she came to meet Eric and Pam by working for them in a video store that they owned in Shreveport for 10 years before Ginger came up with the idea, after the vampires had come out of the closet, that they should turn the store into a night club and call it Fangtasia! Ginger states:

Eric Northman is nothing if he is not pure f–king sex on a throne…”

while wielding an amazing throne-like chair she had found and that sex sells!

The inspiration for Ginger’s looks in this episode were “Reality Bites” vs Goth/punk leading to her hair getting blonder, bigger and the make up bolder!

Tara in an interview with The Hollywood reporter revealed that one of her favourite scenes Happened in True Blood Season 4:

I do love when I was in Season 4, when Pam had a skin-eating disease and I have to give her shots. She has that wonderful pink coffin, and the witches start calling, and her coffin is shaking. I have no idea what to do to assist her, but I swore that I would protect her, so all I can think to do is jump on top of that coffin. It definitely sort of solidified the screaming.

From smart and sassy, to spunky and scream-worthy, I think we all can say there is a soft place for Ginger in all our hearts now.

True Blood: Who will survive the Apocalypse?

Deborah Ann Woll Talks About Her Loss of Vampire Faith:

Deborah Ann Woll stars as Jessica Hamby in HBO's True Blood Season 6, Episode 7, entitled 'In the Evening'

HBO’s True Blood Season 6 has seen the great state of Louisiana declaring war on vampires, Tru Blood is almost gone, internment camps for the vamps, and our favourite cast of characters are going through some really trying times.

Bill (Stephen Moyer) has to work out a way to save his friends from the prophecy he has foreseen, and Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) had all but given up on “life” after draining the three of the four fairy girls. TV Guide spoke with Deborah Ann Woll to get the scoop on what was coming up.

We have seen Jessica dealing with so much regret:

She’s suffered from self-hate and self-doubt all along, so this is just a confirmation of all those fears; those fears that she is a monster because of these dark urges that she has. She thinks she’s going to die, that’s what Bill foresaw. She understands that’s what’s going to happen. She’ll save as many of her friends as she can, but I don’t think she feels like she has to work too hard for herself because it’s not as bad if she doesn’t exist. That’s a pretty dark place for her to be.

We have been introduced to James (Luke Grimes) this season, a young and handsome suitor for Jessica that is not human like Hoyt (Jim Parrack) or Jason (Ryan Kwanten). It’s as though she is finally accepting of the vampire that she is and James is going to continue to be a part of that.

And along with that, letting go of some of the old lovers too like Jason Stackhouse who has come to save her in the internment camp putting himself at great risk:

She cares deeply for him and feels like she’s hurt him more than he ever deserved to be. That scene of her letting him go was like, “I’m not worth it. Get out of here.” We’ll see if they’re able to come out of this.

And finally what does Jessica think about the prophecy coming true?

She doesn’t want to take any active steps towards saving herself, but she doesn’t feel that her friends deserve to die and that anybody should die risking themselves for her. She’s of the mindset that she will help people out to the extent that it saves vampire kind, but she’s trying to come to terms that it may not save her in the end.

So, do you think Jessica will survive?

True Blood’s Anna Camp Talks About Crazy Sarah Newlin…

…And How She Ended Up at the ER in Full Costume:

Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) talks to a beheaded Governor Burrell (Arliss Howard) in HBO's True Blood Season 6 Episode 7, entitled 'In the Evening'True Blood fans have seen it all now, when in Episode 7 Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) picked up the severed head of her lover Gov. Truman Burrell (Arliss Howard), and kissed it. In her lovely southern drawl, she exclaimed:

“I had no idea, actually that I was gonna kiss the head, it just sort of happened. If I get an impulse that’s like creepy, I’m like ‘why not’? They can always tell me not to do it. But better to be pulled back than pushed forward, you know?”

She stated that the special effects department got it so right; the severed head looked so much like Arliss Howard… everybody on set was like “Whoa! I can’t believe you kissed that!”

Her biggest crazy so far went to air last Sunday night though in Episode 8 of True Blood Season 6, which landed her in the ER with a minor injury for the stunt she did for that episode. Shot over 3 days, the scene is one which is violent and graphic and certainly one that took a lot of stamina for actress Anna Camp.

In other roles Anna has played crazy, but she says that this season, this time round on True Blood

“I’ve had some of the best lines I’ll probably ever have on television!”

True Blood Season 6: Amelia Rose Blaire Q&A about ‘The Vamping of Willa’

“Some Jaw Dropping Scenes Still to Come”, She Reveals!

Amelia Rose Blaire stars as Willa Burrell in HBO's True Blood Season 6So far in True Blood Season 6, we have seen Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) watch his sister Nora (Lucy Griffiths) have her last moments on earth, thanks to the government engineered Hepatitis V. Even though she was dying, she still begged Eric to stay with and comfort his progeny Pam Swynford de Beaufort (Kristin Bauer van Straten). Also thrown into this mix was his newly turned baby vamp, Willa Burrell (Amelia Rose Blaire).

Sarlene Leeds, from Rolling Stone magazine, had a sit down with Amelia Rose, a long time Truebie herself who now plays Willa, and asked her a load of questions about the people, the part and the parting of  True Blood Season 6.

She’d always loved the show and watched it with her friends, so to be a part of something like that is a dream come true. Especially as she gets to be one of her favourites; a vampire! Amelia Rose says that she loves the time on set, especially with such names as Rutger Hauer and Arliss Howard there to work beside. Leeds was keen to find out if Blaire got any advice about starting out in the business of acting:

I talked a lot to Arliss , who played my father, and he gave me some great advice on the first day. Because I was nervous and I was like, “I want to do a good job. I want to prove that they made the right choice in hiring me.” And he pulled me aside and was like, “Hey, you’ve got the job, so anything you do, everything you do, is right. There’s nothing wrong. All of your choices from here on out, are right, because the character is yours.” And so that was really cool to have him tell me that, especially because he’s such a talented actor. It was so fascinating to watch him on set, because every single time he would do something different. He was very physical, always yipping and yelping [laughs] in his character, so having him tell me that was really special.

According to Sarlene Leeds from Rolling Stones magazine, the scene where Willa Burrell was turned from a human into a vampire, was quite beautiful. She then wanted to know what Amelia Rose Blaire thought of it:

It was a trip when I saw it because I don’t remember shooting that scene. We shot it in many different sections because with the blood, we couldn’t do it in one seamless shot. But seeing it afterward, I thought it turned out really well. I remember after I shot the scene, I got home and the next morning I woke up and I went through such a strange reaction. Like, I woke up really, really angry, and then I got really, really sad, and then I got really, really happy and then angry again. I was like, “Whoa, what is going on?” And then I realized, “I died last night!” So of course I’m going to have this extremely volatile reaction to that, and it was also a very similar reaction to the one Willa had when she woke up the next evening. She was really, really happy, then really, really mad, and then very betrayed, so I definitely had a parallel with my reaction afterward.

Usually, being a vampire on HBO’s True Blood means loads of slinky, sexy costumes. This year, the attire is a little different – a little more prison garb. Was there any costume envy for Amelia Rose Blaire?

I actually loved that nightgown. I got really attached to it, and all of the different stages of it. They had the first one, and then in the beginning of episode four, it started getting a little muddy around the bottom, and then the final one was all covered in blood. So by the time I had to go into the prison scrubs I was like, “I want to go back in the nightgown!” [laughs]. It was just so beautiful; Audrey [Fisher] just does a fantastic job, all of the costume department. But I love wearing costumes and anything puts you in a certain state of mind, so the prison scrubs definitely put me in a very specific state of mind, too. But I would love to get to eventually wear some kind of traditional, sexy vampire outfit.

Finally, Rolling Stone magazine wanted to know if there was any gossip Blaire could dish out for the remainder of True Blood Season 6:

There are definitely going to be a lot of things that are going to make people’s jaws drop, and people’s heartstrings are going to get pulled. And because I was a fan of the show from the beginning, something that I love about what [show runner] Brian Buckner has done is, he’s grounded it back in something that was very similar to what I loved about the show when it first came out, which was the humanity in the vampires.

I have a feeling Willa Burrell is going to be a very strong character in the long run; over the past two episodes, she single-handedly helped Eric, her father and a dying Nora to escape from Vamp Camp and remains poised to take a significant role in the ongoing human-vampire war as True Blood approaches its final episodes of the season.

True Blood’s Joe Manganiello is a Werewolf in Deep Water

Astra Awards, sharks at Manly, his Rugby team, the Balmain Tigers:

Joe Manganiello stars as Alcide Herveaux in HBO's True Blood Season 6, Episode 7, entitled 'In the Evening'

Best known for his role of werewolf Alcide Herveaux in HBO’s True Blood, Joe Manganiello has been visiting Australia’s shores promoting Season 6 of the hit series as he attended the Astra awards last week.

Not his first visit to Australia, he actually came out here in 2005 with the band Goldfinger, for whom he was a roadie. That 20 hour Australian stopover coincided with the Balmain Tigers winning the premiership that year and so the rugby passion began. Joe donned his beloved team’s, black, white and gold jersey at a match at Campbelltown on Monday night after meeting the team.

His girlfriend, model Bridget Peters, has been accompanying him on this trip and they dove for over an hour in the Manly Sea Life Sanctuary with a shiver of grey nurse sharks.

After Joe hit dry land again he declared it was,

“One of the most unbelievable experiences of my life.”

While appearing on Channel 10’s The Project, sexual insinuations and hose jokes aside, Joe was asked the tough questions. When asked if he’d had any interesting or crazy experiences with the fans, here’s what he had to say:

“I have really interesting fan encounters all the time…. [at Comic Con] My latest fan encounter where, we speak on a panel in front of about 5000 fans every year so, the roar is deafening when you walk out onto that stage….when the cheering kinda subsided, this one lone husky male voice, in the vein of Buffalo Bill from ‘Silence of the Lambs’ said ‘Joe, I love you” and I almost expected the follow up to be ‘put the lotion in the basket’… the deepest huskies male voice I’ve ever heard say I love you! ”

Talking about his time on Magic Mike he also shared the thing that was most requested was the fireman suit:

“I don’t understand it” he said.

Oh but Joe, we do…. It’s hot!

As a child he’d prayed to god to become a werewolf,  having been told by the nuns that if you prayed hard enough you got what you wanted. When he got the call for True Blood, it seemed that those prayers have been answered.

I know I speak for a lot of women here; ‘thank you’ to who ever answered those prayers!

HBO lets us see Inside the Episode for True Blood: Season 6 Episode 6

So many big moments in this episode” says Howard Deutch (director Episode 6):

R.I.P to True Blood's Terry Bellefleur (played by Todd Lowe)

HBO’s Inside the Episode this week follows the last day of Terry Bellefleur in True Blood Season 6, Episode 6, entitled Don’t You Feel Me? And yes, we know its his last day because of what was set in motion by him in Episode 5. What Daniel Kenneth (writer) and Howard Deutch (director) wanted to do was to make it as ‘normal’ as possible.

We see him die, not with the pain of the war still furrowing his brow, but a loving embrace, a smile, a kiss, and a light heart is how he finishes his time on True Blood

Daniel Kenneth says,

“We wanted to give the audience that feeling of what ‘happy Terry’ is like. Show how much he loved his family, loved Arlene, and ultimately he dies happy”.

Also, Bill shows us in this episode just what he is made of. The writer had this to say,

“What was really fun about that scene was that all of his powers are on display, His skin can’t be penetrated, he can walk in the day, everything he can do is on display in that one scene!”

Deutch, who directed the show said,

“I’ve never directed a scene like that, I’m proud of it, I think it’s terrifying but also woven in there’s a lot of human moments because ultimately these are two people whose children are gone. “

Finally we see Sookie accepting that Warlow is not what she thought he was, the demons of her past have shifted face, and she has confronted them maturely. Things heat up with Ben/Warlow, as Deutch describes,

“It’s kind of like when you’re in the ocean and you feel the undertow, and it’s a riptide. You know you’re not supposed to get near that, but sometimes you can’t help it!”

Call it chemistry or fate, but it’s a new direction that Sookie has to consider, the fairy vampire hybrid that she fears, may be her ultimate reality. In the mean-time, she decides to loose herself to the moment and go with what feels good, and Ben, well, he doesn’t really complain does he!

Anna Paquin from True Blood gives out the lowdown at Comic Con 2013.

Sookie tells it like it is in Season 6 of True Blood:

Comic Con 2013 Anna Paquin (Sookie Stackhouse in True Blood Season 6)Access Hollywood was on site at Comic Con 2013 to talk with the stars of the shows. HBO’s True Blood, is always a favourite though and this conversationw with Anna Paquin, one of the original cast who has been in all of the 6 seasons, was quite enlightening!

First questions is usually about the baby body, and how did she get back her figure?!

“Its been an intense year, and I’m very naked on our show, so I had babies over the hiatus so that’s why I don’t look like I had babies over Hiatus.” Anna shrugs.

Anna gets naked alot with the new co-star Rob Kazinsky

“It’s always fun getting new blood, pardon the pun. He’s really wonderful … it’s always fun to have new people to play with.”

Did you have to coach Rob through the nude scenes, because he’s naked a lot!

“Nah, it’s like ripping a band aid off… usually someone in the first week gets their clothes taken away from them and it’s like, welcome to True Blood!

In Season 6 we are seeing a bit of a return to old school True Blood, don’t you think?

“The show has grown and changed and gone from sort of taking on the global issues and the world, and now coming back to the small town and the central aspects of what the show is about… its exciting to be a part of a show that has these sort of phase of storytelling and I’m so excited to still be here.”

And with Season 7 just having been announced, how do you feel?

“Really excited… Especially when you consider I didn’t even know if the pilot was going to be picked up. When I first saw the script I thought either I’m on crack or this is the best thing I’ve ever read!”

When she was asked about the fact that Alexander Skarsgard was not there does that mean anything??

Anna replied: “I would obviously not be allowed to answer that. ”

Since we know there are going to be deaths in this season, I guess what we, as the audience, want to know is, it going to be shocking, will we need tissues or therapy?!

“We generally make some people angry, some people happy and some people cry. And that’s just pretty much what we go for.”

So at the halfway point of the season, what can we expect to see?

“Daddy dearest wanted to drown me… um, whoops!  Bit of a life changer there…. The last shred of feel good about yourself is gone! The former love of her life is not so awesome right now… more like at the throwing plates at each other’s heads stage, not the lets curl up and have a cuddle stage… she and Eric, are just not going to work right now, there is a lot of love, but it’s wrong place wrong time… with a lot of stuff going on, well, it’s got to be resolved.”

Hoping the resolution comes soon. Waiting sucks! But in the meantime, you can view the video in its entirety below:

True Blood’s Season 6 Hot New Hunk Reveals All

Ben Tells Why He is “The One” for Sookie:

Rob Kazinsky stars as Ben Flynn in HBO's True Blood Season 6

The lines were drawn long ago for team Bill (Stephen Moyer), Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) or Alcide (Joe Manganiello). Now, just to shake things up in Season 6 we have the faerie newcomer Ben Flynn (Rob Kazinsky)who poses a mighty risk to Sookie’s (Anna Paquin) equilibrium – could he really be ‘the one’?

In a recent TV Guide interview Rob Kazinsky states why he believes it’s so:

“Ben is the first character that she has ever been romantically involved with that wants, genuinely, the best for her. He is the first real chance that she has for a fulfilled, happy life with somebody like her. She doesn’t have to die. She can have children with him. He’s as normal as she is. To her, he’s normal. For the fact that she might have a chance at true happiness with somebody, that’s why they should root for him.”

Rob is also quite happy about the way Ben has been introduced, the ‘oh no not again?’ scene with Sookie walking along the same road she walked when she first met Bill all those seasons ago. Rob speaks about how he was introduced:

“It’s played very tongue-in-cheek. The audience is going to feel like she knows exactly what’s happening. She’s certainly cautious.”

Rob also believes Sookie and Ben are soul mates:

“They’re kindred spirits who have been the target of vampire threats their whole lives. And, for the first time, Sookie is able to see someone besides her that is in real need of help…. this brings out a side of Sookie viewers haven’t seen yet. It’s the first character that Sookie has met that is traveling in her wake, rather than her traveling in their wake. She’s not a victim this time.”

Ben is a character that has to still be fleshed out over the coming episodes but as he said:

“He’s had a history of betrayal and misuse like Sookie, and that’s going to come out.”

Can’t wait to see more of him! What do y’all think so far?

True Bloods Truth About Rutger Hauer

Is He Only the Fairy King, Or Perhaps Something More Sinister?

Rutger Hauer stars as Niall Brigant in HBO's True Blood Season 6

For those, like me, who have read the Charlaine Harris books you might have been waiting for Niall Brigant to appear; and who better than renowned bad guy Rutger Hauer to be posted into the role. True Blood’s casting director was a genius in Season 6 and it has left us all wondering, is he JUST Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Jason’s (Ryan Kwanten) fairy grandfather; or more?

Ever since his casting, rumours have been flying that he is ALSO Macklyn Warlow the powerful vampire who murdered Sookie’s parents and is now tracking her to get what he is ‘owed’. Unfortunately, Hauer, when interviewed by TODAY.com refused to confirm – or deny – the rumours.

That’s how it started, and at that point they said it was a misunderstanding. It was a misunderstanding that was created — but OK, who am I to say? Because I didn’t know what I was doing. I signed on blind.

What we DO know so far is that he has some big news for Sookie, who is the first Fae-baring Stackhouse that the ancient contract talks about, and without Niall, she and her kind are in great danger.

Niall is showing up because the last of the fairies are in the wrong corner. And Sookie needs to know something that I can tell her. I can show her something that she doesn’t know, and it will help her in the end. It will save her if she loses her life. But then there’s all kinds of spins happening after that, that kind of make that go away a little bit.

Warlow has made a few poignant appearances in Episodes 1 and 2, apparently with more impact yet to come with Hauer promising:

[Expect] big things in Episode 4

Rob Kazinsky, who plays Fairy Ben, a new love interest for Sookie, talks about how he savoured every onscreen moment with Hauer and apparently the feeling was mutual.

Rutger was probably one of the best things that ever happened to me. I’m a huge fan. The tears in rain scene (which Hauer famously improvised) in ‘Blade Runner’ is my favourite scene in pretty much any movie ever. He’s an incredible actor. … We had so much fun.

So how evil is Hauer’s on screen persona? Knowing he has played some legendary villains in the past. This is what Rutger had to say:

I have no idea …I play a character — I think he’s pretty nice, you know. He’s grumpy, but he’s nice. I think he’s got a dangerous side that makes him who he is. They wrote it that way a little bit and they cast me, it’s pretty clear that I’m going to go there a little bit.

I guess, the only thing we can do is hold on and go along for the ride. What do y’all think? Is he more than he makes out?

Anna Camp RETURNS to True Blood in Season 6

Sarah Newlin is Hotter and Holier Than Ever Before!

Anna Camp stars as Sarah Newlin in HBO's True Blood Season 6We last saw Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) on True Blood way back in in 2009 as Minister Steve Newlin’s (Michael McMillian) adulterous wife. Set to reappear in Bon Temps in the June 30 episode of HBO’s True Blood, Anna Camp tells us a little of what’s been happening in Mrs Newlin’s life.

“…she’s written a best-selling book about what it means to be a Christian fighting vampires. And she’s working her way into politics, because she’s craving more power and fame.”

In an interview with William Keck from TV guide, not only are some brand new images of Anna Camp in True Blood’s Season 6 revealed, but the actress reveals about all that sexy horn-dog stuff she did with Jason (Ryan Kwanten) in the Church back in Season 2’s episode entitled “Hard Hearted Hannah”, and if there will be any repeat performances:

Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) and Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) star in HBO's True Blood Season 6Sarah is a very sexual lady who still has a soft place in her heart for Jason Stackhouse. There’s a scene where I come over to his house after a long, hard day and things ensue”

I’m going to go with a yes on that one then, but it seems Jason isn’t the only one.

What about Mr Steve Newlin (Michael McMillan)? He’d now be seen at the devil incarnate by Sarah since he’s a gay vampire!

Sarah is not happy about what’s become of him and confronts him head-on.”

And his response?

“He’s not really in a position to be able to speak.”

Hmmmm I think there are some interesting scenes afoot ….. Don’t you?

True Blood Season 6: The Missing Sex Scene

Pam Talks Frankly About Her Family and ‘That Sex Scene’:

Kristin Bauer van Straten “Pam Swynford de Beaufort”

After 100 years, Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten), in Season 5, became a maker. But in True Blood’s Season 6 the challenges mount with numerous complicated relationships: her baby girl Tara (Rutina Wesley), her own maker, Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) and Nora (Lucy Griffiths), the sister from the authority. Then you can add to this mix the shortage of their synthetic food source, Tru Blood, and a human uprising against vampires.

What will our pink velvet-wearing vampress do with all the complex relationships that are coming to a head in Season 6 of HBO’s True Blood?

Kristen, while talking with Vulture.com, revealed more about that Tara and Pam sex scene that we never got to see; you know the one where we were all scratching our heads and wondering… when?

“Yeah! [Laughs.] I was, too. There have been many different revisions and different scripts, and there was a time where there was a version of a script where we did see more of that. But now, I’m not exactly sure when and where the writers are referring to. When would they have had time to do this? Before storming the Authority? I remember when I said, “We drank a bitch together, that doesn’t make us Oprah and Gayle,” so was it then? I don’t think so, because that first kiss felt like a first kiss, back in episode twelve of last season.”

Kristen goes on to talk about when it actually might have been …

“So I’m imagining it was on the beach in the first episode of this season. That’s a possibility. What I’m imagining is that it was fairly tender and intimate, because that moment on the beach is a vulnerable moment that Pam allows to happen, and they’re really bonding. Pam can be like a turtle and pull back into her shell, so I think this was a real first for Pam, to be vulnerable and have another human being — well, another being, another entity, comfort her. She’s only had that with Eric.”

Ah yes Eric, in the first episode of True Blood’s Season 6 he was pretty harsh with her, saying “you either have my back or you dont.” This would have been a shock for Pam, as it had always been just her and Eric, now with Nora (Eric’s sister) and Tara the ties are stretched.

“She (Pam) liked things the way they were, always the two of them. That was working for her, and she doesn’t want to share Eric with anyone. And it feels like a double betrayal, because she’s shared her entire life with him, while he’s kept secrets. When that happens, you start to wonder if the affection is equal. She didn’t know he had this sister. She hasn’t been quite as trusted as she wanted to be. She’s had to fall back on who she was as a human being when she was on her own during tough times, but there’s no way to completely erase the love she’s had for over a hundred years for one person. That love, and other alliances and relationships, will be really tested this year.”

Kristen still suffers from the occasional case of being star struck too…

“…our guest cast is so exceptional that if I don’t have a scene with them, I make sure to hunt them down after the table read or in the parking lot. That’s what I did with Rutger Hauer after the first episode (in which he is introduced as Warlow). I’m such a fan of his. I have such reverence for his work, and he’s such an awesome, interesting person. Blade Runner is one of my favorite movies. So I just said, “I’m Kristin, I play Pam. We’re so happy to have you. How are you doing? Are you enjoying your work?” I just gushed over him like a fan would.”

Having made friends with the prosthetic makeup artists when her own days were mostly spent in the make up chair in Season 4, Kristen is an avid collector of all the prosthetics once they have been used. She has hinted at an upcoming ‘special piece’ that she will auction off. Not one of hers, but from another character… she said,

” Not necessarily a character I’ve been in a scene with, [but] you’ll know it when you see it.
