Lafayette Reynolds – (Nelsan Ellis)
Tara’s cousin and close friend of Sookie’s. Lafayette works as a short order cook at Merlottes, on the road crew with Jason and an “entrepreneur” in the world of drugs, prostitution and internet porn. He seems to enjoy flaunting his flamboyant lifestyle in the faces of those who may disapprove, and has no problem backing it up.

I’m glad to hear speculation from both a recent Nelsan audio and article interview that we will at least see Lafayette back for Season 2.
