PaleyFest 2011 Update: True Blood Poster Released and What to Expect for the Panel

True Blood Honored at Paley

Paley TicketA couple of weeks ago, I reported the list of cast and creative team members who will be at PaleyFest 2011.  It is quite a big group, comprised of almost everyone that was a regular at the end of season three. So we should be expecting more True Blood season 4 tidbits to come out of the event!

But some of you may be wondering how exactly you’ll get to hear about all of the things that will go down at the True Blood panel this year. I was wondering the same thing myself when I heard True Blood was going to be there.  It just so happens that I am just a hop, skip, and a jump away from Los Angeles. So I decided to go!

That’s right; yours truly will be attending PaleyFest 2011! And I’m fortunate to have fellow writer Isis Nocturne right alongside me! We’re attending as fans but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t expect some detailed fan reports next week!

Until then, feast your eyes on the poster Gallery One Nine Eight Eight made for True Blood. The poster, which is featured below looks pretty interesting don’t you think Truebies? I certainly think so.

Hi again Isis,

I just looked the writing in the poster up on Babelfish in German. I think it is (Gott ist tot) it translated to (God is dead). tot translated to dead but I’m not sure how the first word is spelled if it was Qott or Gott.

Actually, Caitlin, it’s in German, I believe… I’ll have to look up the translation later… For the moment, I’m prepping for Paley! 😀

I agree it appears to be a vampire with a woman behind him. I don’t see the witch or werewolf in the picture. There is some writing scratched in the wood to, I don’t know what is says though. It looks like it says Gottist tot whatever the heck that means. I guess you have to unscrambble it.

Actually, to me it looks more like you see a reversal of part of the poster True Blood used a couple seasons ago, which has Bill and Sookie in it. To my eyes, this poster has Bill in front of Sookie. 😉

Have fun tomorrow Shanea and Isis (I’m sure you will!) I’m excited to here your reports and some juicy spoilers the panel might drop. I’m glad someone is going so we can get some information. So far they have been pretty good with the lack of spoilers. Especially for Eric’s storyline. I’m surprised at how many people will be on the panel (almost the entire cast it seems). I might have to youtube it. Yes, that is an interesting poster. The poster seems like some kind of murder mystery. Enjoy!!!
