Stephen Moyer Video Interview At The Emmys

stephen-moyer-emmy-red-carpetStephen Moyer, who portrays the dashing vampire Bill Compton on Alan Ball‘s hit HBO TV series True Blood had the honor of presenting at the 61st Primetime Emmy Awards.  Michael Ausiello for EW.com had the opportunity to interview him as he walked the red carpet and asked him how he felt being at the Emmys.  Michael also asked Stephen about his feelings about True Blood being snubbed for an Emmy nomination this year and asked about the possible Bill-Sookie-Eric triangle developing in season 3 of True Blood.  Enjoy this wonderful interview with Stephen who is always charming, gracious and a delight to listen to and watch.

Hi Lotta,

I tried to read the books but could not get interested in them. Kept on looking for Bill. I am sticking with True Blood and the way Alan Ball depicts the show. Funny, you thinking Bill and Sookie should be together at the end – thought as a Swedish girl, you would stick to Eric!!

Well well, kind of weird situation, being asked all those questions. It´s part of celebrity business and it looks like Stephen don´t mind. Hope that goes for Anna too.

Just finished book five and it´s irritating to wait for Bill and Sookie to mate again, which I am sure they will do. It´s the only reasonable end of The Sookie Stockhouse Series. Says a 48 year old woman from Sweden who remember Alexander as a child and teenager 🙂

Hi Nia,

Thank you for your response! I enjoy reading your responses! I just love Stephen Moyer and Bill Compton! I see them as two separate entities! Both are so romantic and romance is something I have had missing in my life, so I am enjoying the fictional romance with B/S and the true life romance with Stephen and Anna.

This show has something for everyone and I hate Team Bashing! Each character has a relevant role to play and they all do it so well. I just prefer Bill as my personal favourite.

It is good that there is a bloke posting as well – Antonio!

Hey Lizzie, I know it must seem hard for our Stephen to always have to answer sometimes umcomfortable questions. But if it is a test, he always passes with flying colors. Stephen is such a professional. He is also so handsome, witty, charming, and dam sexy. He walked the carpet well and represented True Blood with casual elegance and style.
When he interviewed with “E”, Guliana was so great with him, I especially loved it when she said that the most twitters she got was about him! I think she really enjoys interviewing him!
So we will keep supporting our handsome southern vamp. He is the best!

Can’t believe that bloke actually asked SM that question re Sookie and Eric! It was Stephen on red carpet and he deserved better.

Interesting that Alan Ball had already told Stephen about the kidnapping storyline he spun to Austelio!
