Kevin Alejandro Portrays Sexual Assault Victim on This Week’s Law & Order: SVU

Kevin Alejandro as True Blood's Jesus VelasquezKevin Alejandro, who plays Lafayette‘s love interest Jesus on HBO‘s True Blood, will be guest starring on an episode of Law & Order: SVU entitled “Branded”. The episode, which airs on October 20, 2010, will also star Michael Gladis who was in the first three seasons of Mad Men. In the episode, both actors portray victims of a sexual assault who are branded and sodomized.

When asked what inspired him to take on this role Alejandro replied:

“It was a situation that I’ve never been able to play before with any other character. It’s an experience that you go through and it’s quite a challenge just to figure out what to do in the situation.”

Alejandro said that for him the biggest challenge in playing a character that has been brutalized like this, was finding a place within himself to tap in to.

Exclusive Sneak Peak Pics of Deborah Ann Woll in Tonight’s L&O: SVU!

Casting Director Jonathan Strauss (JSCasting) and Executive Producer Neal Bear very kindly provided us with some sneak photos of Deborah Ann Woll from tonight’s episode of Law and Order: Special Victim’s Unit, “Solitary”.  In tonight’s episode, the third of the season, Deborah will play a victim, Lily Milton, with Bobby Campo playing her boyfriend, Parker Hubbard.  A huge success, L&O: SVU is in it’s 11th season and is still going strong.  The first airing of the show is tonight at 9 PM on NBC but if you miss it, it will reair on Saturday October 10 at 10pm on NBC.

The plot synopsis from Fancast: When a woman goes missing, her boyfriend points Detectives Benson and Stabler in the direction of a neighbor and convicted bank robber, Callum Donovan (Stephen Rea); Stabler winds up in solitary confinement.

Since she plays the missing person we won’t see as much of Deborah as everyone would like but it will be well worth your time to watch as L&O: SVU never disappoints.

Don’t forget that Chris Bauer appears in “Hammered” next week’s episode of L&O: SVU!

Deborah Ann Woll Guest Stars on Law & Order SVU This Week

Deborah Ann WollFans of Deborah Ann Woll (True Blood’s Jessica Hamby) can enjoy more of her outstanding work as she guest stars on another great show, NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victim’s Unit, on Wednesday, October 7 at 9 pm EDT/8 pm CDT.

The episode, entitled “Solitary,” guest stars Deborah as Lilly Morton, and according to NBC:

When Lily Milton (guest star Deborah Ann Woll) is reported missing, her boyfriend, Parker Hubbard (guest star Bobby Campo), points Detectives Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) and Elliot Stabler (Chris Meloni) in the direction of Callum Donovan (guest star Stephen Rea), Lily’s downstairs neighbor and convicted bank robber, who spent nineteen years in solitary confinement. During the investigation into Donovan’s alibi, Lily is found alive, adding a surprising twist to the case and exposing more of Donovan’s dark past. Also starring: Richard Belzer (Detective John Munch), Dann Florek (Captain Donald Cragen), Ice-T (Detective Odafin Tutuola), Tamara Tunie (Dr. Melinda Warner), and B.D. Wong (Dr. George Huang).

I will definitely be tuning in, both to support Deborah, whose portrayal of Jessica makes her one of my favorite actors, and to enjoy what sounds like one of the most interesting episodes of the season for Law & Order: SVU.  True Blood fans know that Deborah is fun to watch, and this is a great opportunity to see her demonstrate her amazing talent.

Enjoy the preview clip of this week’s upcoming episode.
