Less Than 30 Days to True Blood Season 5!

The posters are out for the HBO True Blood stars for season five! There will be one for each actor and we at TrueBloodNet.com have decided to present one per post in order to give each its own top billing. We saved our very favorite vampire for the last poster we’re sharing before the ten day countdown to True Blood: Pam. Pam, played by the stunning Kristin Bauer van Straten, is the one that has humanized vampire sheriff Eric since season one. Although to everyone else, Eric has been less than human, through his relationship with cold, ironic, snide, perfectly-dressed Pam we’ve learned that Eric still held the kernel of humanity inside him. At the end of last season, when Eric got his memory back but was still in touch with his humanity, he turned on Pam and upset her enough that she ran off (I hope she didn’t ruin her pumps!) Unexpectedly, Pam has someone that humanizes her too, and that’s the ever-loyal Ginger. There are sure to be more fireworks at Fangtasia as Eric and Pam rework their relationship. Maybe it’s time for Pam to get a special friend? We can only hope!

Less Than 30 Days to True Blood Season 5!

The posters are out for the HBO True Blood stars for season five! There will be one for each actor and we at TrueBloodNet.com have decided to present one per post in order to give each it’s own top billing. At the end of the first season, True Blodo fans were freaked out that Alan Ball had killed off fan favorite Merlotte’s hillarious and touching out-of-the-closet chef, Lafayette Reynolds. Lafayette is played brilliantly by Nelsan Ellis and when the body in the back of the car turned out NOT to be Lafayette but the scammer VooDoo woman, Twitterdom went wild (and Opossums everywhere celebrated!) But last season, Lafayette’s lover Jesus taught him how to use his latent medium abilities. Sadly, Jesus didn’t make it through the season alive and Lafayette will really be alone this season with both his cousin and his lover passed over to the other side. On the other hand, every night could be a séance at Lafayette’s house. You just know he’s going to be offering Tarot readings in his spare time. Hey, he has to recover his income now that he’s not selling V any more!

There will be one for each actor and we at TrueBloodNet.com have decided to present one per post in order to give each it’s own top billing. Baby vampire, Jessica Hamby has been growing up fast. She killed a man and put him under the house where she was sleeping, she’s been living with Hoyt and mainstreaming as a waitress at Merlotte‘s Bar and Grill. And now, she’s moved on from her first love and is having a mad affair with Jason Stackhouse. Not just an affair though, she’s exploring her sexuality and it’s getting pretty wild and crazy. Will Jason survive? Will Jason’s obsessive white-trash ex-girlfriend Crystal Norris show up? And if she does, are we looking at a threesome or  a slaughter? Every time we get an answer on this show it just brings up more questions.

Speaking of sex, Jason has a new love interest, his best bud’s vampire girlfriend Jessica. Oh yeah, that’s going to be a very interesting season with Jason and Hoyt trying to work that out. Will Hoyt go to the Church of the Sun side? Will Jason restore his bromance with Hoyt? Will Jessica make him dress up like a cowboy? Or… the imagination boggles!

Poor Tara has been terrorized, vampirized, and now her brains are spattered all over Gran’s floor. What will happen to Sookie’s best friend, played by the beautiful Rutina Wesley, now that Alcide’s crazy girlfriend Debbie has blown her head off while trying to kill Sookie. Sookie took revenge on her by returning the favor but how can Tara survive without her brains? Will she die and just be seen in flashbacks? Will she become a zombie? Will one of the vampires in the neighborhood run in and ‘save’ her by making her into the thing she’s hated most? Honestly, if Tara becomes a vampire, won’t it be ironic and sad that Franklin Mott is gone? Really, with both of them as vampires that could have been one crazy ride. What has happened to Tara!? #WaitingSucks

Two seasons ago Denis O’Hare burned up the screen as Russell Edgington the Vampire King of Mississippi. But Vampire Bill and his new buddy Eric Northman, with the help of Sookie‘s blood burried Russell under several tons of cement after Eric killed his long-time lover: Talbot in an act of long awaited revenge for the king slaughtering Eric’s family. We can hardly wait to see how Russell got free and how he’s going to mix it up! Call your friends, the party will be ON in season 5 of True Blood.

We canhardly wait to meet the new vampire and guardian of “The Authority” Roman. Played by Chris Meloni who recently left a long career at Law and Order: SVU, this character is all the buzz among the fans. You’d think he’s going to want to kick some King Bill and Sheriff Eric booty if he finds out they killed the Vampire League spokesman but since he invented mainstreaming, his reaction may be more complex than expected.

The posters are out for the HBO True Blood stars for season five! As we all know, Sookie, Bon Temps telepathic waitress discovered she is also a Fairy last season. Sookie is played Oscar winning actress Anna Pacquin.  For four seasons Sookie has been at the center of a vampire triangle between Vampire Bill and Eric Northman. At the end of last season she rejected them both and also turned down hot werewolf Alcide. Will she stick to that and spend a season alone? Will she find someone new? Maybe turn to Sam who’s always carried a torch for Sookie?

As we all know, vampire Bill, the latest king of Louisiana, is played by the smolderingly sexy Stephen Moyer. Vampire Bill was Sookie’s first love and he spared Eric Northman in the hopes that it would make Sookie happy. Will he win Sookie‘s heart back this season? Will he move up in vampire politics now that he and Eric have teamed up to kill off American Vampire League spokeswoman Nan Flanagan? Will they take over the vampire world or will Russell Edgington have something to say about that?

Don’t Cry, It’s Back!

The new season 5 True Blood poster has just been released and this poster is aimed directly at YOU dear Trubies! HBO wants you to stop crying tears of blood over missing True Blood because it will be airing soon! Of course, it’s mean of them to send out this poster when we still have over a month to wait but you know those vampires some of them are ‘”Bad to the Bone”.

Season 5 Starts June 10th 2012

I don’t know about you, but TrueBloodNet.com cannot wait to ‘Do Bad Things‘ [Editor’s Note: Did we mention Jace Everett is back in the recording studio? Can’t wait to hear what he has coming out!] again and we look forward to live tweeting each episode along with our wonderful twitter followers [Editor’s Note: You are following @TrueBloodNet aren’t you?] starting with the series premiere on June 10th, 2012!  So while season 5 doesn’t start for 39 days 4 hours and 53 minutes (as of this writing) we can smell fresh blood in the air and can’t wait for the season to begin! We eagerly await seeing what’s been going on in Bon Temps while we’ve been whiling away the winter. Will Sookie relent and pick a beau? Who would you pick? Alcide, Eric, Bill or even Sam? How will Jason and Jessica end up? And for the love of TruBlood will someone get a mop for Tara? Will Arlene and Terry‘s family settle down now that the ghost is gone? Will Jessica tearing out Hoyt‘s heart change his sweet nature? Is Andy going to ever get over his “bow-chicka-bow-wow” evening with the Fae? And where is my smokin’ hot Pammy! You better not ruin her outfit HBO! Is Ginger running Fangtasia by now? Don’t cry? Heck where’s my ‘Don’t Freak!’ poster!

PaleyFest 2011 Update: True Blood Poster Will Be Available for Sale

Own a Piece of Paley

TrueBlood Paley PosterThe magical night has come and gone Truebies and I’m excited, happy and exhausted. While you will have to wait just a little longer for my recap of events, I do have a nice piece of news from Paley to share with you.

 I know many of you weren’t able to make it to Paley so I am thrilled to announce that Gallery Nineteen Eight Eight will be selling the PaleyFest True Blood poster beginning tomorrow, Monday March 7 here. This was confirmed to Isis and me by a rep from Gallery Nineteen Eight Eight at Paley when I bought my own True Blood poster after the show. The price was $35 at the show but that may change online.

So there you have it! You’ll now be able to have a little piece of Paley too just like Isis and me! Stick with TBN in the next day or two and look for our coverage of PaleyFest’s True Blood Panel!

Also thank you to all of you who sent in comments to the site wishing Isis and me well for Paley. It meant so much to both of us and I look forward to writing up my experience…as soon as the stars in my eyes clear up that is.

True Blood Honored at Paley

Paley TicketA couple of weeks ago, I reported the list of cast and creative team members who will be at PaleyFest 2011.  It is quite a big group, comprised of almost everyone that was a regular at the end of season three. So we should be expecting more True Blood season 4 tidbits to come out of the event!

But some of you may be wondering how exactly you’ll get to hear about all of the things that will go down at the True Blood panel this year. I was wondering the same thing myself when I heard True Blood was going to be there.  It just so happens that I am just a hop, skip, and a jump away from Los Angeles. So I decided to go!

That’s right; yours truly will be attending PaleyFest 2011! And I’m fortunate to have fellow writer Isis Nocturne right alongside me! We’re attending as fans but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t expect some detailed fan reports next week!

Until then, feast your eyes on the poster Gallery One Nine Eight Eight made for True Blood. The poster, which is featured below looks pretty interesting don’t you think Truebies? I certainly think so.
