Terry Bellefleur’s Funeral Brings Bon Temps Together:

Joe Manganiello stars as Alcide Herveaux in HBO's True Blood Season 6, Episode 9, entitled 'Life Matters'In this video teaser of HBO’s True Blood Season 6, Episode 9 (entitled Life Matters), we find the inhabitants of Bon Temps coming together for Terry Bellefleur’s (Todd Lowe) funeral.

Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) arrives and still wearing that black dress she wore to Fairyland with Billith (Stephen Moyer). So she must make it back okay. I wonder how Billith and Warlow (Robert Kazinsky) fared though?

She does appear to be a little late to the funeral though and has to take a seat next to Jane Bodehouse (Patricia Bethune) and Maxine Fortenberry (Dale Raoul). Sookie isn’ t seated for long when Alcide Herveaux (Joe Manganiello) turns up, wanting to sit next to her. While Alcide impresses Jane and Maxine, Sookie isn’t as beguiled and announces she’s saving the seat next to her for her brother, Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten). But we all know Jason isn’t about to turn up any time soon!

VIDEO: True Blood Season 6 Episode 9 Teaser – ‘Meeting Terry’ #FridayFlashback

True Blood Brings Us a Terry Bellefleur Flashback:

Chris Bauer (Andy Bellefleur) and Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) look for Terry Bellefleur (Todd Lowe) in HBO's True Blood Season 6, Episode 9, entitled 'Life Matters'HBO is giving us plenty of promo videos for True Blood Season 6 Episode 9 (entitled Life Matters) this week!  And this one comes in the form of a flashback.

Episode 9 of True Blood will bring the residents of Bon Temps together for the funeral of the much loved Terry Bellefleur (Todd Lowe). It seems that there might be a little reminiscing involved as this video gives us a flashback to an early Terry Bellefleur.

We find Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammel) (from the newly opened Merlotte’s bar) with Andy Bellefleur (Chris Bauer) and a case of Terry’s favorite beer, Raging Bitch. They are out in the middle of nowhere and appear to be trying to lure Terry out of the wilderness. Eventually a camouflaged Terry shows up, looking a lot more damaged than he was before Arlene Fowler (Carrie Preston) picked him up and bought him some measure of happiness.

VIDEO: True Blood Season 6 Episode 9 ‘Prayer’ Teaser

Is Sarah Newlin Praying for True Blood?

With only two episodes left of HBO’s True Blood Season 6, fans are starting to get anxious about all their favorite vampires  now trapped in the room from Billith’s (Stephen Moyer) vision from earlier in Season 6. Will they all meet the sun?

In the latest video teaser of Episode 9 (entitled Life Matters), we find Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) praying – but for who or what, is unclear. Is she praying for her own safety perhaps? After seeing what looks like Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) holding a gun to her head in the previous Episode 9 promo, then possibly she is indeed praying for her own salvation.

We also find snippets of that damn roof opening up over our True Blood vampires. Will they all die? Then  Jason Stackhouse is screaming and bodies are burning. If you slow that particular scene down, you can see a redhead cowering in the background – is that Jessica (Deborah Ann Wool)? Why isn’t she burning?

We also find Billith coming out of Fairyland – or is he being forcibly pushed out? Especially since we see a very brief moment of a very angry Warlow (Robert Kazinsky) – and is Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) tied up behind him? Finally, there is that flash of what appears to be Lilith (Jessica Clarke). Which leads fans to wonder ‘what’s that all about?’

So many questions. Only this Sunday will be able to answer them for us – #waitingSUCKS!

True Blood Season 6: Episode 10 (Finale) Synopsis Released

How Will True Blood Season 6 End?

Stephen Moyer stars as Bill/Billith in HBO's True Blood Season 6We are less than two weeks away from wishing and waiting for True Blood Season 7 to hit our screens. So what do we think will go down in HBO’s True Blood Season 6 Episode 10 (entitled Radioactive)?

According to TVGuide.com this:

In the sixth-season finale, Jason feels a vampire attraction firsthand; and Bill finds that salvation isn’t free. Meanwhile, Sookie considers her future with Warlow as a new crisis poses a threat to humans and vampires alike.

It’s only two sentences, but still it reveals so much. It appears Warlow (Ben Kazinsky) must survive Eric Northman’s (Alexander Skarsgard) bite until Episode 10 at least if Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) is still considering a future with him.

Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) also appears to still be around in the True Blood finale – even though he has currently been left alone in a room full of hungry vampire ladies. So who does he feel the vampire attraction to? Is it Violet (Karolina Wydra)? Or is it another vampire in gen-pop?

Poor Bill (Stephen Moyer) still seems to be grappling with the fact he is now Billith – what is the price he’s prepared to pay though?

Oh, and new crisis? What’s that all about?

Only time will tell.

The Tension Rises With Only Two Episodes Left:

Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) and Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) battle in HBO's True Blood Season 6, Episode 9, entitled 'Life Matters'Wow! Doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun trubies? With only two episodes left of HBO’s True Blood Season 6, tensions are simmering and about to bubble over!

With the promo video for Episode 9, entitled Life Matters, we get to see a lot of stressed people – humans and vampires alike. Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) appears to be on  a mission to save his own, Billith (Stephen Moyer) is following suit albeit a little behind the Viking vampire.

We also get to see a lot of burning bodies – are they the vampires we love so much? It’s hard to see with all those flames licking at their faces.

We find a bloody-mouthed Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) – did she feed on someone? – begging for Billith to remember his soul. What is Billith doing that brings his soul and it’s well-being into question?

Finally, we end this clip with what appears to be Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) pulling a gun on a blond – is it Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp)? Will Jason pull the trigger?

Doesn’t waiting suck?!

True Blood Quickie: True Blood Season 6 Episode 8 “Dead Meat” Recap

The vampires prepare to meet the sun in HBO's True Blood Season 6, Episode 8, entitled 'Dead Meat'So what did you think of HBO’s True Blood Season 6, Episode 8, entitled Dead Meat? There sure was a lot going on and there is a definite feeling of impending doom building towards the True Blood finale in two weeks time.

This was a better episode than last week’s and I will certainly be hard pressed to pick only a few quotes for my meme’s post later in the week.

This is what went down:

  • Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) and Billith (Stephen Moyer) have words. They go something like this: “Blah, Blah… I hate you…blah… Sookie’s hot… blah blah… Lillith’s magic… Rack off!”
  • Rikki (Kelly Overton) challenges Alcide (Joe Manganiello) in a duel to the death for leader of the pack. We then have to witness Alcide beating on women. Not a comfortable scene at all, no matter how much we hate Rikki
  • Oh whoops! Nicole (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) is pregnant and she doesn’t know it, but we do after Sam (Sam Trammell) sniffs at her
  • Alcide and Sam are now besties. While I am over the werewolves/shifters story line, I am starting to feel sorry for Alcide having to leave his pack. This makes me a bit worried since TV shows LOVE to make you like a disliked character – right before they kill them off
  • Violet (Karolina Wydra) uses Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) as a human popsicle – one which she will NOT share with the others. EVER.
  • Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin) needs Benlow’s (Robert Kazinsky) blood in order to save her vampire friends – but it will come at a cost. Yep, looks like Sookie’s about to become a vampire! Of course, being Sookie – even with time being of the essence – she has to wander off and discuss this with every potential suitor she can track down.
  • Whoops! Who’s that hiding behind that tree when Sookie leaves Fairyland. Enter: Eric Northman – this can’t end well, I just know it!James (Luke Grimes) tells Steve Newlin (Michael McMillian) not to drink the blood in HBO's True Blood Season 6, Episode 8, entitled 'Dead Meat'
  • Damn it James (Luke Grimes)! Why are you telling whiny little spineless biatch Steve Newlin (Michael McMillian) not to drink the blood? Why????
  • The horrible little turncoat Steve Newlin, in return, turns on him and dobs him into Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp). This is the episode when the sunroom from Billith’s vision starts to fill up. Very quickly Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll), Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten), Tara (Rutina Wesley), Willa Burrell (Amelia Rose Blaire) and Violet join James and Steve Newlin. Jessica promptly announces their impending doom. On a side note, that means Jason is left alone with the other vampires in gen-pop. Hope he’s going be okay…
  • Sookie can’t seem to get in touch with Jason, but she has finally noticed thatNiall (Rutger Hauer) is missing
  • It doesn’t matter how old a vampire is – it’s still really hard to say “Jason Stackhouse”with their fangs out
  • Two week old fairies can’t drink coffee – but they will sneak out to drink alcohol with the boys!
  • Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) tells Arlene (Carrie Preston) about Terry’s (Todd Lowe) two million dollar insurance policy – and that’s when Arlene works out it was suicide. She then goes on to cause havoc with the prim and proper Bellefluers over Terry’s funeral arrangements
  • Billith is an ass – he promises not to kill Warlow – but only because he hasn’t synthesized his blood yet
  • Sarah Newlin is possibly the best ‘character we love to hate’ when she goes ahead and thanks Jesus for helping her kill the Tru Blood rep who showed up and asked some hard questions. Although, I must say, it was the best bitch fight I’ve ever seen!
  • Sam asks Nicole to stay – and she does. Line of the night goes to Nicole’s mother referring to Sam as the “silver fox” and not realising how close to the truth she actually is!Anna Paquin stars as Sookie Stackhouse in HBO's True Blood Season 6, Episode 8, entitled 'Dead Meat'
  • Sookie gets pissy at her parents, announcing to them she’d rather be turned into a vampire than have to think about them. Yup, guess her mind is made up then. All that’s left for her to do is don a black gown and get the party started
  • Adilyn (Bailey Noble) gets all drunk and bitten by Eric Northman
  • So Sookie, having made her decision to be turned for the sake of her vampire friends, calls up Billith and they go to the cemetery. Sookie takes his hands and they disappear into Fairyland… only to find Eric has beaten them there and had a feast on Warlow. Is he even still alive? I guess we’ll just have to wait for next week to find out how badly Eric has screwed up

True Blood Season 6, Episode 9 Synopsis has been released. Episode 9 marks the 2nd last episode of Season 6. The battle between the humans and vampires will likely intensify even further in the upcoming episodes. Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) will be out for revenge for his sister Nora’s (Lucy Griffiths) death, which was at the hands of the humans.

Here’s What will Happen:

“A desperate Bill (Stephen Moyer) tries to ferry Warlow (Rob Kazinsky) away from the faerie plain, but Sookie (Anna Paquin) is having none of it. Meanwhile, Eric (Alexander Skarsgard) arrives at vamp camp, looking to inflict serious human damage. In Bon Temps, friends and family take emotional turns remembering a fallen neighbor. Bill feels the pull of Lilith’s (Jessica Clark) sirens”.

So Truebies do you think that Eric is going to get the revenge he is looking for, or will his return to vamp camp only to further secure his spot in the room where the vampires will meet the sun?

True Blood Quickie: True Blood Season 6 Episode 7 “In the Evening” Recap

Season 6 Starts to Bring Everything Together:

Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) and James (Luke Grimes) get to know each other in HBO's True Blood Season 6 Episode 7, entitled 'In the Evening'So what did everyone think of HBO’s True Blood Season 6, Episode 7, entitled In the Evening? While it wasn’t my favorite episode of this season, it was still a goodie and I can definitely feel a drawing together of all the story lines. With only a few sweet episodes left…

This is what went down:

  • Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) works out pretty quickly what’s going down with the Hepatitis V/Tru Blood contamination
  • The breech is discovered at Vamp Camp – Eric still manages to escape with an ailing Nora (Lucy Griffiths) though
  • Willa’s (Amelia Rose Blaire) still floating around with her severed hand, getting into places she isn’t allowed to be. She tells Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) about the Hepatitis V contamination. However, Pam tells Willa to shut her trap about the Hep V – and with good reason. If no vampires are drinking it, then it’s a dead giveaway that they know about the contamination. So, with the exception of Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) and Tara (Rutina Wesley), it seems the rest of the vamp crew at Vamp Camp are about to bite the dust
  • Eric takes Nora to Billith and begs for him to fix her. While Nora is having no part of it (and we discover her stubbornness goes back to before she was turned), Billith ends up giving her his blood. It doesn’t work and we are left with a devastated Eric when Nora finally dies and ends up a puddle of goo in his lapSarah Newlin (Anna Camp) talks to a beheaded Governor Burrell (Arliss Howard) in HBO's True Blood Season 6 Episode 7, entitled 'In the Evening'
  • Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) discovers Governor Burrell’s (Arliss Howard)head – can anyone say necrophilia? Ew! The dead head kissing scene is GROSS! But, Sarah goes on to be her so-good-to-be-bad self and declares that no one need know about the Gov.’s death AND MANAGES TO PULL IT OFF!
  • Sookie and Benlow talk marriage and THAT contract. Then Sookie hears Arlene (Carrie Preston) crying and light beams out of fairyland to help her friend in her hour of need. Arlene (of course) spills her guts over everything: the glamour, Terry’s visit toLafayette (Nelsan Ellis); the whole kit and caboodle. Sookie goes back to the Bellefleur house and we find Andy (Chris Bauer) holding up remarkably well. Porcia (Courtney Ford) has arrived and Adeline (previously fairy #1) are there too. Sookie makes telepathy with Adeline and then her and Lala go off to check out what’s in Terry’s safety deposit box – can anyone say $2,000,000.00?
  • Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) finds out about Terry and sends Nicole (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) back home to mummy while he prepares to return to Bon Temps. Shame Rikki (Kelly Overton) picks up Nicole and her mum and calls Alcide’s (Joe Manganiello) bluff when he announces to his pack that they (along with Sam) are dead. Whoops. Although, things FINALLY got interesting in the werewolf story line…
  • Jessica gets a visit from Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten). After a bit of a chat and a clearing up of why he’s in armour, Jess asks for Jason to bring her James (Luke Grimes). Yummy! Yes, there is gratuitous nudity. Yes, we all have a new team to drool over (so long as he stops being so tortured about his existence). Yes, Jessica tells him about the Hep V. Hope James doesn’t end up a goo puddle though…
  • So Sarah can now tell Jason that his leverage with the Governor is gone. Hang on, weren’t we keeping this a secret Sarah? Oh well, Jason’s being chucked in gen pop, so I guess that’s a moot point. Luckily, Tara is there to defend him against all the other vampires. Except for that quiet queen-bee that HBO has been waving seductively in front of our noses for the last few episodes. Who IS she? And why does she think she can stake a claim over Jason?
  • Billith looks increasing like Tom Cruise in this episode. Are HBO having a dig at Scientology here? This is even funnier when you’ve seen the recent photo taken of Tom Cruise showing up at the True Blood table at Comic-Con 2013. You can check out Sam Trammell’s reaction here.
  • Billith offers sympathy to the Bellefleur’s – his family – over the loss of Terry. Except we all know it’s just because he wants some fairy blood. Oh wait, was that a THREAT to Andy, Billith? I won’t kill your baby if you don’t kill mine? We don’t believe you Billy boy!
  • HBO still can’t make a guy look any good in a wig. Although, Eric looking all Interview With a Vampire is probably the best attempt they’ve had so farPam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) goes back into therapy in HBO's True Blood Season 6 Episode 7, entitled 'In the Evening'
  • Pam gets all hot and heavy with her therapist – to get into gen pop. What’s she up to?
  • Billith tries guilt to enlist Sookie to bring him Warlow. Will she do it?

So, what did you think of Episode 7, In the Evening?

We are tantalised by the fact that Jessica Hamby (Deborah Ann Woll) is hauled out of the general population of Vamp Camp and taken to a room where she is greeted by none other than her previous flame, Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten). He’s calling Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) to find out if he’s had any more trouble with the werewolves since the previous night. Lafayette then has the terrible task of informing Sam of Terry Bellefleur’s (Todd Lowe) demise.

Sam then decides to pack up Nicole (Jurnee Smollett-Bell) and ship her home to her mother’s rather than take her back to Bon Temps where it isn’t safe for her. The only problem is – it isn’t safe for Sam either!

HBO lets us see Inside the Episode for True Blood: Season 6 Episode 6

So many big moments in this episode” says Howard Deutch (director Episode 6):

R.I.P to True Blood's Terry Bellefleur (played by Todd Lowe)

HBO’s Inside the Episode this week follows the last day of Terry Bellefleur in True Blood Season 6, Episode 6, entitled Don’t You Feel Me? And yes, we know its his last day because of what was set in motion by him in Episode 5. What Daniel Kenneth (writer) and Howard Deutch (director) wanted to do was to make it as ‘normal’ as possible.

We see him die, not with the pain of the war still furrowing his brow, but a loving embrace, a smile, a kiss, and a light heart is how he finishes his time on True Blood

Daniel Kenneth says,

“We wanted to give the audience that feeling of what ‘happy Terry’ is like. Show how much he loved his family, loved Arlene, and ultimately he dies happy”.

Also, Bill shows us in this episode just what he is made of. The writer had this to say,

“What was really fun about that scene was that all of his powers are on display, His skin can’t be penetrated, he can walk in the day, everything he can do is on display in that one scene!”

Deutch, who directed the show said,

“I’ve never directed a scene like that, I’m proud of it, I think it’s terrifying but also woven in there’s a lot of human moments because ultimately these are two people whose children are gone. “

Finally we see Sookie accepting that Warlow is not what she thought he was, the demons of her past have shifted face, and she has confronted them maturely. Things heat up with Ben/Warlow, as Deutch describes,

“It’s kind of like when you’re in the ocean and you feel the undertow, and it’s a riptide. You know you’re not supposed to get near that, but sometimes you can’t help it!”

Call it chemistry or fate, but it’s a new direction that Sookie has to consider, the fairy vampire hybrid that she fears, may be her ultimate reality. In the mean-time, she decides to loose herself to the moment and go with what feels good, and Ben, well, he doesn’t really complain does he!

True Blood Quickie: True Blood Season 6 Episode 6 “Dont You Feel Me?” Recap

Todd Lowe stars as Terry Bellefleur in HBO's True Blood Season 6, Episode 6, entitled 'Don't You Feel Me?'So we got to finally witness the death we have been anxiously awaiting since Brian Buckner announced it earlier this year. HBO’s True Blood Season 6, Episode 6, entitled Don’t You Feel Me? certainly hit hard as a result. Although not quite as hard as HBO did with it’s other great juggernaut program, Game of Thrones. Which is just fine, because I don’t think I could have coped with another red wedding episode this year…

What went down:

  • So Billith (Stephen Moyer) hears Sookie’s (Anna Paquin) pain and sends Ben (Robert Kazinsky) to fix it. Which is really convenient because it gives Sookie a chance to whisk him away to fairyland (where he is safe from Billith & Lilith’s clutches) and then proceed to have her wicked way with him.
  • Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) survives this episode, so there goes my prediction down the gurgler!
  • Sookie tells her daddy to go to hellKristin Bauer van Bauer stars as Pam in HBO's True Blood Season 6, Episode 6, entitled 'Don't You Feel Me?'
  • Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten) and Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) kill a couple of security guards, rather than each other
  • Steve Newlin (Michael McMillian) is a spineless bitch!
  • Billith realises that his vision is now a reality and seeks Lilith (Jessica Clark) out to whine about it ask for her counsel. Lilith calls him on his ‘poor me’ issues and tells him to back off and fix his own problems
  • Jason Stackhouse (Ryan Kwanten) gets fast-tracked into the LAVTF. Which goes well until Sarah Newlin (Anna Camp) enters the room and it gets all awkward ex-lover…
  • Jason dons his hardly ever worn ‘smart cap‘ and calls Sarah on being the set of balls running Vamp Camp. Can anyone say ‘blackmail’? Of course Sarah doesn’t blackmail very well, so she calls in Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) to screw a vampire named James (Luke Grimes) in front of Jason.
  • Sam Merlotte (Sam Trammell) gives up Emma (Chloe Noelle) to her grandmother (Dale Dickey) – well that’s a story line done and dusted! Now if they could just hurry up and do something interesting with Alcide’s (Joe Manganiello) story I’d be a bit happier…
  • Ben asks Sookie to tie him to a tree in fairyland so he can’t drain her when night falls. Who knew fairies read 50 Shades of Grey?
  • Andy Bellefleur’s (Chris Bauer) fairy baby gets a name: Adeline Braelyn Charlaine Danica. So it’s out with 1 2 3 4 and in with A B C D…
  • Lafayette calls Terry on his suicidal tendencies, which, in reality, is probably what gets Terry killed. Thanks to Lala calling Arlene (Carrie Preston) and then Holly (Lauren Bowles) getting involved, a vampire is called in to erase all of Terry’s bad memories and voila! Terry is R.I.P. Which makes it more tragic; he is finally happy yet he had no idea to contact Justin first and tell him the deal is now off
  • Eric Northman (Alexander Skarsgard) and Governor Burrell (Arliss Howard) have parenting issues. As a result, Nora cops a dose of Hepatitis V – the same thing that is going into every single bottle of Tru Blood!Amelia Rose Blaire stars as Willa Burrell in HBO's True Blood Season 6, Episode 6, entitled 'Don't You Feel Me?'
  • Willa (Amelia Rose Blair) convinces her daddy to put her in general population with the other vamps.
  • At the same time, Billith drinks fairy blood and walks in the light – wonder how long before it wears off? Then Eric and Nora (Lucy Griffiths) are left in a room together – so of COURSE they escape thanks to Willa and glamour 101. It looks like the vampires are taking back Vamp Camp! *fist pumps the air*
  • Governor Burrell loses his head! Well done to Billith for manning up and doing the deed – oh, and for inventing suicide dominoes…
  • It appears that when things get jiggy with fairies, their neither regions glow. Oh my!

Governor Burrell (Arliss Howard) loses his head in HBO's True Blood Season 6, Episode 6, entitled 'Don't You Feel Me?'
