True Blood Nominated For Five Saturn Awards

The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films has announced the nominations for the 36th Annual Saturn Awards and Alan Ball‘s hit HBO TV vampire series True Blood has received five nominations. The Academy was founded in 1972 by noted film historian Dr. Donald A. Reed to honor and recognize science fiction, fantasy, and horror in film, television and home entertainment.  The 36th Annual Saturn Awards will take place on June 24, 2010 in Burbank, California.

Hi iamtrue2bill,
Its funny but some time ago Stephen was asked what shows he loves to watch (other than True Blood…LOL) and he said he thought “Breaking Bad” was a rockin’ great show and would love to be a guest star! Now here he is up against Bryan for Best Actor.
Just FYI.
And I have my fingers crossed for Stephen too!!!!!!!

This is terrific news ! TB deserves all the awards it can get. I hope Stephen Moyer wins; the only real competition in my mind is Bryan Cranston from Breaking Bad ( another great show! ). It would be great if TB can garner a few more awards. Then even more people would tune in, and it would be an even bigger hit !
