Win Signed Copies of Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress Books

True Blood season 3 has now ended, and we’ve begun an excruciating 9 month wait for Season 4. It is, and will continue to be hard, but there are ways to get through it after re-watching the previous seasons of True Blood over and over and talking with fellow fans here on TrueBloodNet.com.

One thing I’ve found very helpful in the wait for each new season of True Blood is to read other vampire books. In doing that, I’ve discovered many other amazing authors whose stories drag me directly into the worlds they have created. One such author is Jeaniene Frost. She kindly donated several copies of her Night Huntress books to TrueBloodNet.com to be given away as prizes.

Halfway to the Grave, Jeaniene FrostThe Night Huntress series feature lots of action, wonderful romance, and sexy vampires. The main stories are about Cat, a half-vampire trained from an early age to hate vampires, and Bones, a vampire she ends up falling in love with. They go through trials and tribulations, as well as disapproval from their peers, but as with many other wonderful stories, true love prevails.

This series is fun, high action adventure, and it’s a pleasure to read these books again and again. I can’t choose a favorite in this series because I love Cat and Bones and the story of their life together is amazing!

In fact, Charlaine Harris is a fan of Jeaniene’s! In an author quiz she answered for EW’s Shelf Life, Charlaine said that the fictional character she’d love to marry is Bones from the Night Huntress series.

Three (3) lucky winners will be chosen to win a signed copy of Jeaniene Frost’s book Halfway to the Grave. One (1) lucky winner will get the grand prize, consisting of five books, all signed by Jeaniene Frost.

I like any story that involves vampires that are a little more ‘human.’ As long as they are not drooling monsters, I’ll most likely like it!

ella appleby

I would love to see the vampire male and part human female have a baby and then he turns her. The ususal stuff. Love, fighting, sex, sex, and more sex.

Dominique Kneebone

I would like to see/read more about Were, Vamps, Halfbreeds, humans with Fae blood and even love triangles.

I love how the Vamps can be really tough and rough and powerfull when they need to be, however when they are alone with the girl they love they are the epitome of sweet and gentle. showing a real sweet, soft, emotional side to them that they keep hidden from everyone else. Its good too to read that when something happens to their love interest they forsake all else and tend to their the one who has stolen their heart.

Andrea

When reading vampire stories or watching the TV series I like to see their back stories and their lives together with other vampires. What do they do with their “every day life” stuff, I think this is why I like JR Ward & Jeaniene so much…the “vampire families” play a huge role in the story. To pass the time until TB comes back I’ll watch the Vampire Diaries and read a lot; just started into the Lara Adrian (OMB series) and Kerrelyn Sparks (Love At Stakes) so I think that will hold me over for a while.

Jen

I would love to see/read Weres of all flavors, Vamps and their minions, and of course who can go with out the blood and sex. I miss you already True Blood! Can’t wait for next season!

Porshia

I would like to see a story about a vampire that wants to be human again but the only way to become human again would be to find that special person or soul mate and they would have to pass a test to be able to make the vampire human again.

Heather Conner

I sincerely love the true vulnerability each vampire shows when they fall in love with a human. There is something so passionate and sweet about them when they are in this state. Whether they are good like Bill, powerful like Eric, or crazy evil like Franklin….all of them possess that sweet adoring desire. It verges on creepy, but it is just flat out romantic no matter how you look at it.

Kelly Mazzonne

Honestly, I like just about anything paranormal romance. I echo the sentiments that I see in some of the comments above about historical paranormal romance, that would definitely be a great suggestion, but I would also take futuristic as well. I will read just about anything dealing with vampires and the supernatural, and if it is good writing, I will read it again and again. I have read several other vampire series, and they all have their own unique spin on the world of the paranormal.

Amy Willingham

I would love to see tons more historical romances, I feel that stories set in real time situations always get my attention more! Would love to read them!

Taluhama

True Blood was the reason why i started reading books about the supernatural world, i just needed to know what would happen to sookie and bill after the first season ended, so i bot all the Sookie Stackhouse novel and just fell in love with that kind of literature.
Since then I already read all the books from House of night, Vampire Academy, Morganville Vampires, Twilight, Sookie Stackhouse novel, Midnight Breed and Night Huntress Novel and Night Huntress World.
After reading all those books i can say that my favorite authors are, without a doubt, Charlaine Harris AND Jeaniene Frost. I love the way they write, their characters and the hole world the~ve created. Im a HUGE fan, and it would mean SOO much to me to have a signed book from her…Anyone can buy a book and read it, but to a fan, having an autographed copy is the biggest present EVER.
So, what am i gonna do now the season is over??? READ!
cant wait to have the 5# book about Cat and Bones in my hands…but in the meantime im gonna go look for new series to fill my need for stories.

Chrissie (Nay) A

Darn forgot Lara Adrian’s Midnight Breed series too. That’s enough books to keep you occupied for a long while.

Chrissie (Nay) A

Alexandra Ivy’s Guardians of Eternity series, Larissa Ione’s Demonica series, Shayla Black’s Doomsday Brethren series, Vicki Pettersson’s Signs of the Zodiac series, Charlaine Harris’ Southern Vampire series (Sookie/True Blood series), Lynsay Sands’ Argeneau Vampire series, Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Dark Hunter series.. just to name a few. LOL

Jules@OneBookShy

I would very much like to see some vampire stories mixed with historical romance and adventure. The present-day stories are great, but I’d enjoy it being mixed up a bit.

Thanks,
Jules

Dawn

Now that True Blood is over what I want to see is more True Blood. Ok ok, if I can’t have that maybe some short clips and teasers from the next season??
I have just started reading the Cat and Bones series and I am wondering where Bones has been all my life? I love that Cat thinks of the big picture and others besides herself when making decisions. I also love how the author draws out the romance. The characters may feel attracted to eachother, but they don’t just jump into bed at the first chance they get.

I started reading paranormal romance books with J.R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood series and have been hooked ever since. Anyone have any other favorite authors they would like to suggest?

Kateland Leong

In a sea of paranormal romance novels that center on or have vampires in them, it’s hard to get into unless the author has something uniquely theirs. Originality, even in something so popular and used, is a huge win for me.

More than that, I enjoy seeing a character grow, evolve, and become someone who I can say, “Hell yeah, awesome person!” A character with wit and flaws abound, but at the center is a good human (or otherwise).

With these two elements, originality and character development, along with some rad fight scenes and a happy ending, my elation is unrivaled and I am found three days later in amore with a book. ;D

Teri Garrett

I like to see well developed worlds that are somewhat believable. In general,I do not care for vampire worlds where aliens are involved (although Adrian’s books are an exception). I like to read an entire series in a row, and when I’m done, I know I’m satisfied when I hate to leave that world. I like crisp writing and complex plot lines. I like strong female characters whether they’re vampires or not.

Lorena

I’ve been reading other paranormal/urban fantasy stories since True Blood is done for the year. I recently read Gail Carriger’s newest book in her Parasol Protectorate series, Blameless, and am really looking forward to the newest book in Nicole Peeler’s Jane True series, Tempest’s Legacy. I’ve also been rereading favorite books and am looking forward to rereading the fourth book in Charlaine Harris’ Southern Vampire Mysteries in anticipation of the next season of True Blood.

Teri C

Now that True Blood season 3 is over ;( I am re reading the book series and picking up some new vamp reads. I am also awaiting the next installment of sookie’s adventures in Mrs. Harris’ upcoming release next year. When I am done with the series, I will give shifters and were’s their read up next in my book pile;)

Natasha J

Honestly, I love it all. I love new takes on the Paranormal and Urban Fantasy worlds. Sometimes I’m in the mood for a whole different world of paranormal, and other times I just like a littler supernatural mixed in with our world. It all depends. As long as it’s a good read, that’s all that matters. Oh, and that the males are appealing to read;) hehe

Caressa

I really enjoy the mixing of the human life with the supernatural issues. It allows for regular people, regular lives and stories that have “been done” in countless stories throughout literary history to be completely redone where new rules apply and where there can be completely new, unexpected new endings, resolutions or even new problems. It really gives authors the freedom to push boundaries with their imaginations and skill ttheir only obstacles. And that means even with a mundane predictable problem we can now be utterly shocked and surprised in a day and age where we’ve all “seen it all”. While I love reading I’ve really enjoyed the twists and turns of TrueBlood on the small screen. It’s all about the ride and the supernatural creatures will take you from 0 to 160 to dead in a heartbeat…or not.

Kelly

Gosh, this wait is going to be excruciating! lol

Well, while in wait I have to say that what I enjoy most in Vampire fiction is strong female leads, women who don’t back down despite their fear and I have to admit that I do adore the horror sometimes even more than romance, if the former is well presented! XD

yvantis[at]hotmail[dot]com

melissa prestegaard

Desire a strong heroine, witty clever characters, packed with action and romance. I adore this series and dream of the after-life of me and bones!

Katra

Now that True Blood is over and you need something to fill the void, the hunger and passion that True Blood fed to us, what do you want or enjoy to see in paranormal romance books regarding vampires?

I, like many other True Blood fans, am going back and watching the previous seasons of True Blood over again and have pre-ordered the third season on Blu-Ray. But I also read a TON of books. Lately, I’ve been reading Sherrilyn Kenyon (the BEST Paranormal Romance writer EVER), JR Ward, Moira Rogers, Annette Blair, and so many more authors’ books. Most of them are paranormal writers, though Annette writes contemporary witch books that are utterly fantastic.

I haven’t yet tried Jeaniene Frost, but I’ve heard wonderful things about her. It would be very cool to win these books, or even just the first one.

Also, kudos to everyone at TrueBloodNet for hosting these awesome contests! I hope we see more of them in the future. 🙂

Munchkin

I will definately be reading as we wait for TB to return. And I will most certainly be reading Jeaniene Frost.
Excellent writing and memorable characters !

sj

true blood is better than the sapranos!!!!i hope this sexy story spins for years…….dexter..trueblood….TRUE BLOOD wins

sj

more sex and steamy story lines

Lillian Beaver

I have been reading several books, and I am also watching the new Vampire Diaries season as well as SuperNatural on the CW.

Roxanne Rhoads

I love a complete world built in books then I enjoy lots of romance, steamy encounters and a plot full of story arcs twists and turns that I don’t see coming.

I love books that surprise me.

Jasmin

When I read a book about vampires I really want to know all about their world (the world the author created)… which of the rumors about them are true, which aren’t, and if there are even other things about them nobody knew before. I really enjoy it when an author “plays” with the rumors, making some of them real, creating exciting new ones and even making fun of others (like Jeaniene with the wooden stake ^^). And to be honest I don’t really fancy “love-at-first-sight-stories”. Maybe that’s why Cat & Bones are my favs. She totally hated him in the beginning and I so loved that!

wendy

I love reading the different authors. Each one has their own veiw on vamps. When I get a new book I have to thinkokay which vamps are these. DO they are a heartbeat, dothey die during the day, etc. I have to say though Jeaniene’s are my favorite. You gotta love Cat and Bones.

Jane

I admit, I love the naughty ones. Bones is a favorite. A filthy mouth is fun to read. I also like Lindsay Sands’ books.

Daniela

I LOVE paranormal, esp. vampire, love-stories 🙂 Jeaninie is a great, great author and I`m obessed with her books and True Blood is a fantasic story as well 😉
I love it, when Cat and Bones are arguing with each other and after that, they reconcile again. That`s so romantic and it`s not this perfect, unrealistic kind of story. So, I definitly like these sexy, romantic, not-perfect stories!

Valerie

I just love to read all the series…J.R. Ward, Lara Adrian and now Jeaniene Frost (of course Charlaine Harris). GREAT series and I look to their recomendations for further reading material. We all love a romance that is difficult to come by….I love to escape the reality of day to day (noraml) life.

darkbloodyvamp

When True Blood is off season I sink my teeth into paranormal romance books that let me escape into the thrill and ecstasy of the characters. I love reading paranormal books regarding vampires that have characters that are drop dead gorgeous, strong and powerful able to destroy anything yet are very passionate, sensual and sexual. I love when the vampires in the stories are so protective of their love and that love is returned back to them without apprehension and judgment regarding what they are, just being loved for who they are and accepting everything about them.

angela lockhart

Now that True Blood is over and you need something to fill the void, the hunger and passion that True Blood fed to us, what do you want or enjoy to see in paranormal romance books regarding vampires?

Well I have only read just started the night huntress books. So I have 4 books to read. Soon the 20th Anita Blake book will be out (Hit List). I may go back and reread all 19 to get ready.

Katherine

Now that True Blood is over and you need something to fill the void, the hunger and passion that True Blood fed to us, what do you want or enjoy to see in paranormal romance books regarding vampires?

I really wanted to read the Night Huntress Series becauselike all of the NH Fans I love the series and like Charlene Harris I too want to marry Bones. I hope i win this contest because it will be an honor to have Jeaniene Frost Books in my hands.

Chrissie (Nay) A

Now that True Blood is over and you need something to fill the void, the hunger and passion that True Blood fed to us, what do you want or enjoy to see in paranormal romance books regarding vampires?

Mostly I rewatch every episode of True Blood from the beginning to the final episode that was shown. Honestly, twelve episodes a season is just not enough. I’m considering ready Charlaine’s books.

Right now, I am reading Joey W. Hill’s Vampire Queen series and wow that is taking care of the vampire sex. But even though I continue to read great vampire series, I have to keep myself from rereading Cat and Bones series. I’m at the point again where I feel I’m slipping and it’s gonna happen soon. I pulled the first book out tonight, looked at it and laid it down, but it’s closer to the bed now ;-). I can’t wait until Jeaniene’s new Cat and Bones’ book is out. I’m also excited about her novella coming out with Shayla Black. I love Shayla too and both my fav ladies in one book will be awesome.

Linh Pham

I really love Jeaniene Frotst’s ‘Night Huntress’ series because of the wit, humor and fun. My favourite books are about vampires and I really like it when the author is actually trying to write out some of the thoughts of the characters, it makes it more interesting to me.True Blood is awesome 🙂 I like it when the males are dominant and sexy with a wicked sense of fun, hehe.

Sarah

In paranomal romances I like to see action, romance (duh)and sex. That is why I LOVE Jeaniene Frost! Her books are perfect for me. I dont own the first or second book. I own the third and 4th. The first 3 I got on eBooks. I’ve read all the books at least 5 or more times each. Can’t wait until the 5th one that comes in February of 2011!!!

Cherie

I love it when the story is funny lots of alpha male lots of fighting and making up hehe, Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress books (my fav) actully got me hooked on the paranormal romance books and now I have a very proud collection of books and am very pleased to have discovered paranormal romance!

Shae

I love the drama, love, pain and the plots!
The best stories have a strong heroine and a big and bad sexy vampire. Cat and Bones are the best, but all of Frost’s characters are strong which is why they are my favorites!

Jessica Pearce

I love a vampire story with depth, humour, passion & the best are those where the author has taken the time to think of a reason as to how vampires evloved! I love that in the Night Huntress novels, there is so much detail. Everything from their society structure to rules to Cain. It makes it all the easier to get lost in the books, because they become so believable! Love it 🙂

Adria

I LOVE it all. I also love a Vampire stories that aren’t only bound by the “traditional” rules. I’ve been hooked on vamps since I was in middle school and read Interview w/ a Vampire…. That started it all for me. Love Vamps!!!

Alex

I love everything about Vampires! The Drama, The love, The pain! Everything!

Van P.

What i like seeing when reading paranormal romance regarding vampire is how emotional some can be, and humor.

thanks for the giveaway!

Hi Renee. There are a couple fairly new authors that I have read that you may enjoy!! First is Nicole Peeler she has written two Jane True series books so far, First one is “Tempest Rising” and the second “Tracking The Tempest” the third is coming out in Jan. There are plenty of supernatural characters and it’s very sexy, funny, and full of twists. She finds out she isn’t who she thought she was and her life starts to take some amazing turns.. She gets swept off her feet by a suave vampire investigator, protected by a talking dog who is more that what he seems, then gets supernaturally trained by a gnome who she says, “has the disposition of the gunnery Sergent from Full Metal Jacket”. I laughed till I cried at parts, and blushed at others. LOL I’ve already read them three times since TB went off, in my opinion they are that good!
The others is by Gail Carriger, found her from Charlaine’s site last year. She has written “Soulless”, “Changeless”, and “Blameless”, her forth “Heartless” will be out July ’11. They are about a strong willed woman(Alexia) in Victorian London, that is born without a soul and is called a preternatural. When she touches a supernatural creature they become human with her touch, but only while she touches them. There are vampires, werewolves, and evil scientists who are trying to find out what she is and how to use her. They are very good reads, and Alexia is a very strong willed woman that takes crap from nobody.
Well I hope that if you read any of these books, you will enjoy them as I have. Will I’m off to start reading my Cat and Bones books over again.. Following doctors orders..taking two Bones and calling in the morning!! 😉 LOL!!

Erin Lindsay

I like the different types of vampires. Some walk in the daylight, some cannot, some live up to the good ol’ Buffy standards and some make people go… “I staked you… you should go poof”. Every vampire species comes from a different origin and sometimes to the readers (and maybe to the author) the truth about the origins are unknown.
It provide diversity when reading paranormal romance that deal with vampires.

Keep up the entertaining work Jeaniene!

Elida Cole

Hahahaha! I didn’t answer the question. In paranormal romance I love to read about sex. The way the character’s are all different in all vampire books. The way they all love/can’t love but try.

Alex

I Love Vampires. The blood dribbling down they’re chins. The preditory look in they’re eyes when they are hunting they’re pray. The sweetness and kindness when they are with loved one. Every thing about them screams danger, Yet authors like Jeaniene Frost and Charlaine Harris Make them wounderful, Amazing, Terrifying and beautiful all at the same time.

Elida Cole

I love Jeanine Frost!! I think she is a wonderful writer.

Rachel

I love really all vampires. Jeaniene’s vampires and TrueBlood’s sizzlein’ vamps are my favorite. I like strong sexy vampires. I like the classic vamps (Braum Stroker style) mixed in with the new age vampires. But the vampires I enjoy the most are the strong, sexy, sometimes melodramatic vamps!

Jen Gutter

I’m not a fan of self loathing vamps. I want my vampires to embrace who they are and run with it, not wallow in self pity for their entire existence. I love characters who are witty, fun and aren’t afraid to poke fun at themselves, or others;)

Becky B.

In paranormal romance books where vampires are involved I love to see humor not seriousness all the time.

Mindy

Ruth,
Get ready for a ride you wont forget!! Jeanienes book are the kind that keep you up at night because you just want to read instead of sleep. They are ALL fabulous!! You will seriously enjoy them from beginning to end! They are the kind of books that take you right into the moment! ENJOY!

Mindy

I ultimately enjoy a good love story between two complete opposites! I would love to see more hardcore romance packed with action that just sucks you in. The male lead would have to be a vampire because there is nothing hotter then a manly strong sexy vampire that just steals the heart of a beautiful innocent female. I love books that have “the wrong place at the wrong time” type vibes (the meeting of two characters). Something else that I love…a good fight scene between the lovers! The make up is always SOOO enjoyable to read!! So for me…bring on the action, romance, and edge. I’m always looking for the next read that sucks me right into the book with the characters. BRING IT ON!

Kristen Gough

I love a book that has a strong female lead character who has a sarcastic personality and I love watching relationships with an intense sexual attraction unfold!

MICHELLE DOYLE

What do I want to see more of??? BONES AND CAT! 😀

Melissa

I also love strong female leads in books. I prefer to see her of strong body, mind, and spirit. Drives me nuts when my stong female lead does nothing but make stupid decisions. I also love good dialogue and some shifters, spellcasters, or demons thrown in. Really like the age old good vs evil. Looking forward to our next installment in the is series!

Ruth Warburton

I haven’t read Jeaniene Frost yet! She is, howver, on my next buy list! I love reading most romance fantasy books but I always find vampire and shifter books to be most fascinating. I think the perfect Para-Romance book needs a kick-ass heroine fighting a realisticf personal problem, a subtle developing love life with a realistic yet supernatural guy, a good amount of humour and a well-planned plot line. Ilona Andrews has to be my favourite so far!

Teresa Wooten

If I must pick one thing I suppose it would be humor. Though I can not in good faith say I’d change a single line in her books.I absolutely adore Jeaniene Frost. I’ve read the book “First Drop Of Crimson” and was hooked. So I immediately ordered “Eternal Kiss Of Darkness” loved it as well. Being a cancer survivor makes you want to escape the harsh realities of this vicious disease. Reading her books takes me away to a different time and place. I become totally lost in the characters and am craving the “Night Huntress” series. Either I’m laughing with the humor, fighting in the action or melting in the romance. You make it all come to life! I’m wondering will you write a book based on Vlad Tepesh?
I enjoyed his character so much. Keep writing Jeaniene Frost and I’ll keep reading. You ha

Kristy

I love a PR book that has a kick-arse herione and some steamy scenes between the herione and her love interest!! But it has to be backed up by an AWESOME plot with lots of action…I want to laugh, cry and say “what the hell..NO!!!” but it always works out in the end.

Jeaniene Frost is a PERFECT example of what I mean, her books are some of the BEST out there!!

Marla Jo Green

Jeaniene’s books are like the show, once you start you cant stop…more more more!!

Cathy

I love all different vampire stories, I really like when added to other paranormals ie shifters, demons, witches, fae ect. I also like learning about where they all began. every series I have read seem to have a different set of rules and i like the differences.

nichola

This night huntress series has been at the very top of my list of favorite books Ever…it’s seductive,sexual,addictive,can’t-put-down-series and i simply love it.
i am looking forward to more of the night huntress series..more of justina…whether or not she found someone who could tame her, more of Cat and Bones and the open sexual desire they have for each other..Denise and Spade..how are they balancing their relationship with the undead world and that of Denises’ shapeshifting..being that stress, horniness, hunger can all trigger her shifting..My love Mencheres and Vlad..i would be honoured to own signed copies of this magnificent series.
Looking forward to more of Ian and Tate as well..this series wouldn’t be the same without thier sarcasm, openess and they can annoy u but they both tug at my heart..

cherie

I have to agree with everyones comments here. The strong female character and romance is what draws me to Jeanie Frost books.I love that Cat isn’t a victim and doesn’t fall down and cry every book. She really is a superhero(evil grin). More books need stronger characters and better romantic ties.Nothing is better then Bones and if you’ve read her series, there’s really no need to explain.

Tara McKee

I like strong female leads who are not perfect and struggle with their issues like all of the rest of us. I like the strong romances that are also not perfect but more real. I also like sex scenes. Of course, violence, blood, and vampires make it all worthwhile! Of course, Bones is really hot!

Joni G.

I like some danger, some romance and lots of sexy!

jessica mead

I enjoy reading strong heroines in paranormal romance vampire books!! I LOVE LOVE to see the chick to be able to kick some serious butt and not always be the helpless little victim… I think a given is the romance/sex scenes… the more explicit the better (: with that being said it is obvious that cat and bones books are definitely on the top of my favorite books!!!!

sylviasybil

I enjoy reading vampire books with strong women (vampire, vampire slayer or something else entirely, it’s all good). And if there’s a sex scene, I prefer it not to be too purple or too out of character.

Renee

I love seeing all the different types of supes. The Nighthuntress Series is probably my favorites series ever. I love the sarcasm and that Cat isn’t some wussy damsel in distress. But I do love other supes likes fae and shifters so I also read the Merry Gentry books, Patriciah Briggs and JR Ward. I’m always on the lookout for new authors. And with true blood off the air and the next cat and bones not until early next year, I don’t know what I”ll do with myself!!

Catherine

During the upcoming months, I’ll be catching up on new books from my favorite authors and rereading some favorites. I love paranormal romance books with plenty of sarcastic banter and innuendos. We get plenty of that with Cat and Bones!

Sarah Jackson

Nothing really ever fills the void that True Blood leaves. I will do my best to fill my need of love and vampires by reading my favorite authors and drooling over some sexy vampires! I am especially looking forward to Jeaniene’s newst addition this February!

Karen

I want to see more stories with the vampire/fae/druid relationships, as well as other supernatural creatures (i.e., werewolves, shifters – hell, even unicorns!) thrown in. The old lore holds a treasure trove of inspiration for the right mind, and, I believe, JF has the right combination of inspiration and imagination to bring this new world to life…

Cullenluva

I’d really be interested in learning the deep thoughts in the mind of a vampire. From the passion, to possessiveness and how they view eternity the one deemed their soul mate vampire or human. I’d much rather read the hot, steamy passionate love between two vampires. The human-vampire romance I’ve read and quite enjoy, but it’s getting into how deep the feeling run for the vampires and romance.

Miracle

I am looking forward to a series where the bad ass vampire is a female and the love interest is a flawed but oh so sexy human male.
Seems like everything I read these days, it’s the other way around.
I haven’t read all the available books of course, so maybe I just missed it 🙂

Kim Connor

9 Months?? Right now I have emerged myself in all sorts of paranormal romance books in order to survive the “wait”. I have heard of the Night Huntress series and heard very good things about it, but haven’t gotten to it yet.. When I’m reading a paranormal romance book, I love to get sucked into the world and the characters. I like action, romance and humor.. I’ve read some great books and hope to continue finding more stories!

Stacey

I love reading paranormal romance books. I love having that escape from real life. In my opinion, some of the best fantasy books are books in which only one “rule” of the world is changed. Paranormal Romance books where the rest of the universe is the same but there are vampires and other supes thrown in are my favorite because you can just imagine it’s real =)

Ann K

I love reading fun, quirky, spunky vampire books with a strong heroine. I just love Cat and Bones. I read the series last year and couldn’t put it down. I love discovering new Vampire series.

Mony

i read all of her books!!
CH even said she wanted to marry Bones in an interview!!!
I luv Jeaniene and since she is totally Team Eric you can see how Bones is very similar in many ways but more emotionally open and maybe more ruthless than Eric!!!
Luv Luv Luv Jeaniene!!!

Misty Galvin

I love reading vampire stories that make you feel like they could be real. If your thinking “that could NEVER happen” it’s not a good vampire book

Connie HEdnrickson

I have to say what I enjoy most in paranormal vampire books is the way the vampire falls for the kick ass (and most of the time Human) girls who stand up to them!
By far my favorites are – The Night Huntress series (Jeaniene Frost)and the Chicago Land Vampires series (Chloe Neill). Another great author Richelle Mead – Vampire Acadamy series, Dark Swan series, and Georgia Kincade series. All are fabulouse and a great way to pass the time. 🙂

Chelsea / Vampire Book Club

How will I survive? By reading just about every urban fantasy and paranormal romance book I can get my hands on. I love novels where the vampires are still evil — but of course we want to redeem the bad boys, it’s why we all adore Eric Northman — and ones with a strong heroine.

Jeaniene Frost covers both points.

Lisa Taylor

I like tough female characters, and even tougher males. I love banter/humor between the two. I enjoy “challenging” relationships…not necessarily love at first sight, but definitely smoldering attraction at first sight.

Mike Peterson

I am just starting to read her books. They sound exciting so it will be refreshing to read her stories. I made a list of all her books now its time to read.. TY Jeaniene

Diane

I read lots and lots of Vampire Books. Right now, I am reading a totally different kind of Vampire which really surprised me. It’s a series written by E.E. Knight called The Vampire Earth. Really different than anything I’ve read before about Vampires.
The books caught my eye when I read “Welcome to the year 2072. Earth is under new management.” I must confess, though. No matter what I read it never makes up for not seeing True Blood on HBO!

marsi

unfortunately we all have to wait 9 suffering months every year until our next 55min-dose of the next seasons episodes.the one thing that keeps me strong even until then is some of the hottest books series out there: night huntress and black dagger brotherhood series.they have the ability to capticate you from the first few pages and let me tell you this…
they never let you go after the fisrt taste…they literaly haunt your dreams and the leality you’re leaving in.Amazing!!!
of course that is until true bloods new season premiere.

Fae

I really, really want to see a love scene between two vampires who are truly in love. We’ve seen vampires who are in a love/hate relationship, we’ve seen purely physical attraction, but I want to see the combination of lust and all-encompassing love expressed through sex and blood sharing.

dawn sawyer

i love a good steamy vampire novel with strong women. the night huntress series definately provides both! the black dagger brotherhood series is also another sexy vampire series also!

Jo

I’ll read any vampire book series which has strong, confident, sexy, lovable, intresting characters with a good story line 🙂

Delsee G

Ok i never heard or read any books by Jeaniene Frosts, but all i can say is that if they involve vampires and romance than that’s my kind of book and hopefully it will have me entertained until the next season(which i can’t wait for!!!)and also have me wanting more from Frost.

Nancy

9 months and waiting, sigh… Okay what I enjoy in these books is a GREAT love story, the vampires way of life, the things they can do, the experiences they have had living so many years, the struggles they go through and the power they have over humans. I am currently reading the Anita Blake serious, I have never read the Night Huntress or any books from Ms. Frost, but I would love to read them to help me get through these very LONG 9 months. Paranormal romance books are my favorite types of books.

Sandra

Below is my Survival Guide from last year while awaiting Season 3:
Rachel Morgan Series (Kim Harrison)9 books

Harper Connelly Series (Charlaine Harris)4 books
Morgan Kingsley Series (Jenna Black)5 books
Cassandra Palmer Series (Karen Chance)4 books
Riley Jenson Guardian (Keri Arthur)8 books
Undead Series (Mary Janice Davidson)9 books
Mercedes Thompson Series (Patricia Briggs)5 books
The Morganville Vampires (Rachel Caine)7 books
Kitty Norville Series (Carie Vaughn)7 books
Jill Kismet Series (Lilith Saintcrow)4 books
Dante Vanentine Series (Lilith Saintcrow)5 books
… and that’s how I survived to see another season of True Blood!

Sus Dieckmann

I love Jeaniene’s books and I’m really thrilled how the story will devellop.

val

Well I know these have been out awhile but I think Tanya Huff’s books about Henry Fitzroy were hard to beat! I have reread all of them more than once and also the Smoke and Mirrors trilogy.

Loleaf

Omg Dawn!! How could you have that book that long and not read it!! I would’ve gone absolutely crazy with wonder.. Lol. 🙂 I was waiting for Borders to open to get mine and starting reading even before I had pulled out of the lot!! Lol. Will power… I have none!! 😉

Loleaf

I love Jeaniene’s books and can’t wait for the fifth book, “This Side of the grave” to come out in February! I have been reading a book series from a new author named Nicole Peeler. Her books “Tempest” and “Tracking the Tempest” are absolute must reads!!!! They had me laughing hysterically. There are many players in this series… There are vampires, gnomes, satyr’s, and an adorable Barghest and so many other characters that will surprise you. Her vampires live not on the blood but the essence that come in the blood: fear, lust, etc.. (oh yeah she has also written in incubis and sucubi into the mix). I started reading the first and couldn’t put it down, laughting with the well written dialog throughout the book. Once you pick it up it’s hard to put down!!! The third in the series, “Tempest Legacy” will be out I believe in January. I recommend that you pick these up over our long wait… You won’t be disappointed with this series!! 🙂 I wasn’t!!

becca

i read any vampire series that is well written, addicting, sexy, and has great characters.Just like the night huntress series!

Jat

I love the Night Huntress series…..they are the best! I would like to see more male vampire characters like Bones…..strong, funny, sarcastic and sexy!

Roisin M

Well, firstly, I want to go see Vampires Suck in the cinema. I do love vampire books, movies, tv shows, etc – but on the other hand, the trailer of this looks so funny taking the piss out of all the vampire stuff going round lately.

I love vampire books and am a complete bookworm. At the moment I’m waiting for more Jeaniene Frost as I can’t find 2 of them! 🙁

The type of vampire books I like are the complex ones. Not stories where they’re just bloodlusting evil beings, but where they make choices and mistakes just like humans. It makes them more believable.(ironic since vampires aren’t real. lol)

And it’s strange, but I don’t like it when everything works out perfectly. I could love a book, but if it ends with everybody miraculously surviving it puts me off it straight away. The rest could have been perfect but sometimes you need that bit of heartbreak in a book.

Not looking for porn in books, but a bit of passion and sex goes a long way. Not too much though, otherwise it just takes over the book.

I also like when the author explores the good and bad side of a character. Nobody is completely nice or completely evil, and it’s good when we see a supposedly evil character doing something kind of nice or when we see a nice person lose it slightly and do something not so good.

Finally,(yes I just realised how much I was ranting) I think it’s important that all of the characters are well thought through. I hate when I love the main characters and the story line, but want to skip past where other characters are concerned because I don’t find them interesting or believable.

So, as you can see most of what I like involves making the story more believable and relatable.
xoxo

Isis Nocturne

I’m really curious, Jessie…

Have you ever read Davidson’s Fred the Mermaid trilogy? I really enjoyed that one, as well as Davidson’s Alaskan Royalty series and some of her stand alone stories.

Jessie

I enjoy reading about characters that aren’t perfect…ones that have problems just like everyone else. And I also enjoy kick-ass females. Other than the Sookie Stackhouse series, my other favorite series are Frost’s Night Huntress (of course), Hamilton’s Anita Blake and Meredith Gentry, Kenyon’s Dark Hunters, and Davidson’s Queen Betsy.

Jessica R.

What I love to read in vampire novels the passion for life, love and loyalty, each author’s twist to the vampire world they create, and well, if I’m going to be honest, the great sex! Jeaniene has all of that in abundance and her books are the best!

Lisa

I’d Love to read something where humans get to escape humanity. As someone who lives with chronic illness, my only escape is to enter another world- books, movies, etc, so I love reading stories where people can escape what holds them back, what makes them human, and therefore, susceptible to pain and death.

Danielle Bull

I’m going to continue reading about vamps 🙂 I love UF and PNR. I hope to find stuff that doesn’t fit the mold though. I’m tired of reading the a typical romance. Its why I will totally love Cat and Bones. It’s completely different.

Man I hope Sookie and Eric hook up in season 4

Sheila

I’d like to see the ‘human’ side of vampires. Not just the blood-thirsty vampire side.

Larisa M.

I love vampire stories with historical flashbacks. I have read many of the Laurell K. Hamilton Anita Blake series, all of CHarlaine Harris’s Sokie Stackhouse series, LarissaIone’s demonica series, & they help to fill the time that I long to see True Blood. I love romantic stories involving vampires struggling with themselves & their attractions to humans & their many conflicts with the situations. I would love to get this book Halfway to the Grave because it sounds very good. If Charlaine Harris likes it, it must be very good. Thanks you!

Jamie

I have read the Night Huntress Series and the Night Huntress World books several times for the pure enjoyment of the series. I have also read all of the Sookie Stackhouse books and have recommended both series to friends on several occasions.

My favorite thing in Vampire books is the believable unknown twists and turns. I love that you are unable to tell where and how the story is going to end because anything can change at any point in time.

However, I think that there is an exent to the ability to believe some turns but Jeaniene Frost has the ability to make me believe almost anything in her world of Cat and Bones.

The Night Huntress Series is my number one choice of books out of the many series I have read!

misty

I would love to see more from Jeaniene Frost. I love both The Night Huntress and The Night Huntress World series. I can’t wait until Feb for the next Cat and Bones. I would love to see more paranormal that are as witty as these. I also love the BDB and how funny the brothers are.

Kim D.

I absolutely love Jeaniene Frost! This is tied for my favorite paranormal romance series with the Gardella Vampires series by Colleen Gleason. I love a book with lots of action, both fighting and in the bedroom, which both of the previous mentioned authors are great at creating!

MinnChica

I love Jeaniene’ books. They are fabulous! I personally would like to see more good versus bad vampire action. Love the Lara Adrian Midnight Breeds Series and JR Ward BDB. It’s classic good vamps vs bad vamps, and I love it!

Tawny Moeller

Well, since I have never read this series or ever heard of the author… I’d really like to read these books.

But, what I’d really like to see in a paranormal romance novel is being able see a complicated relationships work out between two troubled characters. After all, in the Southern Vampire Mysteries books & in True Blood the relationships obviously didn’t work out.

I also want to see the author’s perception of vampires, and how they act. For example, Stephanie Meyer had sparkly, mind-reading vampires with no fangs, Charlaine Harris had crazy, sexy vampires, and Anne Rice had the traditional vampire with fangs, that burns in sunlight. So, I ask myself…

What is Jeaniene Frost’s perception of vampires? Will they glow in the dark? Be day walkers? I don’t know, but I’d really like to find out!

Paula

OMG, I love these novels, they’re like my little drops of True Blood ecstasy I just want more and more. What I enjoy and want in them are extremely hot love scenes, awesome humour and great adventures! But what keeps the whole vampire thing real to me is the analysis on society and how you see discrimination/extremism in a whole new way. That’s why I love these books so MUCH – they keep me stimulated

8-D

Sarah B

I love both the books and the series. For me I look for a book that when you have read the back page and it gets your attention, you can open it at random and still have your attention grabbed, even if its halfway through the book. That’s how I tell if I’m going to enjoy a book. I have never read Jeaniene Frost, maybe I should fill in the waiting time for new TrueBlood series with them.

Melisa

True Blood is an amazing series. I love the books and HBO amazing lil twist and tweaks on them. It definitely keep you on your toes. I also love Jeaniene Frost as an author. Amazing and unique presentation on vampires. That being said.

what do you want or enjoy to see in paranormal romance books regarding vampires?

I really like the comedy they have in the books. It’s all balance when you have romance, adventure, setting, and comedy. So that what I would like to see.

Shelly

I love series! I like getting to know characters and see what happens over time. I really like reading a series that the lead role change but they are all connected. I love it when an author gives you little snippets of a character in a future book, it keeps me excited about the series! A series doesn’t have to do that but I found there are few authors that can keep me interested in same couple over several books ( jeaniene frost and charlain hairs excluded of course, there is no such thing as too much Bones!)

Dawn L.

Oh, I am so with you on filling the void – I even saved Charlaine’s book 10 for this down time… And Jeaniene is an excellent choice as well!

I look for a series…. I just prefer having something to look forward to knowing the end of the book isn’t really the end. And it might be easier for me to tell you what I don’t like – I don’t enjoy a paranormal romance that feels like a history class – I understand some background information is necessary and really appreciate it- it’s when half the story is history.

Alana S.

Even though I’m an avid reader I must admit that I have not yet read any Jeaniene Frost novels. It’s good to have a new author to read and I’ll be heading to the bookstore this weekend to see what new vampires I can add to my can’t get enough of list. Thanks Trueblood net for identifing authors who can fill the void while we wait for more TB.

Crystal H.

The first thing I look for are well developed characters who feel real and make me care about them. A kick ass female lead is a must usually, and a little sarcasm never hurts. Then there’s the chemistry between the lead female and male characters. They have to compliment each other in some way. And of course hot steamy sex scenes are a plus. And hot vampires will always be under my radar. I love Jeaniene Frost’s books because they have practically everything I look for in a book. A great plot, characters I love, humor, action, etc.

Shelley Romano

I not only look for a strong female lead that is believable, but the interraction with the secondary characters IE Vlad and Cat in the Night Huntress series. I appreciate the fact that Authors like Ms Frost use real settings for their books. I really loved Ms Frosts latest book Eternal Kiss of Darkness. I wish that Kira gets a bigger part to play in upcoming releases.

Heather T

I have just recently got into this genre of books and I can that I am really enoying the creativity the authors shows in the books by debunking myths and lengends about supernatural creatures.

Rachel K

In paranormal vamperic romance novels I love to see a flawed heroine who’s strong, independent, and somewhat stubborn. Whether she is human, vampire, or somewhere in-between (ahem, Cat), she’s got to be relatable and real. Sarcastic is always a plus as well. I like a novel that’s dark, sexy, and romantic, with plenty of action and conflict. Basically, Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress novels are the perfect example of what I love in a book – she’s got everything!

Emily

I think a great paranormal series has to have a heroine who has a strong strong spirit, along with a male lead who is strong but in a way that compliments, not overpowers. Of course, being hot doesn’t hurt! 🙂 The chemistry between the main two characters, as well as the supplemental characters, will make the book “sing”… this is what the Night Huntress books bring. I’ve read them all several times and enjoy them more each time. Humor mixed in is an extra bonus!

Jolene Allcock

I love a good plot that’s filled with twists and action and lots of adventure. I want to be hanging by my seat not able to put the book down. I like my vampires to be in the bad boy role. Really, who wants a sissy vamp. I want them to be a take charge, my way of the highway, I’ll protect you at all costs and kill you if you look at me wrong bad ass 🙂 I also want my characters to have some intense chemistry. He can be bad ass all he wants, but the heroine is the only person who can see past his walls and tames him. Hot sex please. I’m a stay at home mom of 3, it needs to be sheet smoking hottnes 🙂

Kaitlyn V

You have to have just AWESOME chemistry between the main charactors or it just wont work out.

– Kaitlyn V

Charchelar

I enjoy seeing horror and action elements. Even though it’s a romance story, vampires are violent creatures. There should always be darkness in situations concerning them. I like an author who isn’t afraid to have their heroine shed a little blood from an attack-not just from a love scene. Vampires aren’t good all the time. There needs to be actual danger in the stories to keep me interested.

Brittany Weeks

I thing that you need yes the romance
but you also need snarkiness (sp)
and the main characters always have to have some cockyness to them lol
action also
and a great freaking plot that makes you go wait what!?!?!
i need one second to blush from amazing smex scenes nd then crack up at a reply the next second
but i dont want a book that is slow and no excitment…i want a book to start fast and good!

April M

I like them tall, dark, and handsom. I know, I know, it’s been said before and I’m sure it’ll be said again but that’s pretty much what most look for in a vampire, am I right? lol. I also like it when the vamps are old and powerful. They’re to a point in their life (or death) where nothing matters anymore and a woman comes around and shows him what lifes all about.

Maggie

I will be trying out as many of the vampire inspired books as I can find time for. I like characters that are believable. I don’t object to having them have special abilities just so long as they don’t pass the point of being ridiculous. Sarcasm is good too. Have to love sarcasm.

Caitlyn

I like when they have flaws or human traits like love or lust. lol I especially love when vampires fall for humans, you know the whole forbidden love thing. Now that Trueblood I will probably reread all my vampire books, such as my Annne Rice books and definitely my Jeanie frost books, she has move up my list to my favorite writer of vampire books. I will also be searching for some new favorites. Cant wait until Truebloob comes back and I am dyeing for the next Cat and Bones book.

Mary D.

I love a well developed plot with characters that continue to grow to reveal their multiple sides. The Night Huntress series and Rachel Morgan Dead Witch Walking by Kim Harrison are by far the best reads out there. True Blood took a bloody twist far from the Sookie Stackhouse series this last season that turned a lot of faithful viewers off.

Gloria (TexasStar)

I have been in Love with Jeaniene’s way of putting together a group of hot sexy vamps and paranormal charaters in her Night Huntress Series. I espesically Love Cat and Bones and how seductive they are even though they piss each other off, the wild Hott sex makes up for that! (Chapter 32)**wink wink*. I would definetly Love to hear more about Ian and Vlad in her books or even if she made there own stand alone Books, they are both have very interesting parts in these books and i love there smart ass humor! On another note i am so excited to be entering this contest. I love that you do this for fans and i am so estatic to have a chance to be winnning anything from Jeaniene she is amazing! If you havent read her books I highly recommend them, You will be hooked from beginning to end and be blown away with her stories 🙂 and yes you will have dreams of BONES hehe =)

GLORIA B.

I love a strong hero, sarcastic as all hell, and a woman that can stand up to him and lay him out if needed! LOL

cher

My favorite series yet.Cat is my fictional superhero and Bones…So much to say about him but you can’t help fall in love with him.Love this series and can’t wait for the newest book to surface.Jeaniene Frost writing is brilliant

Jennifer Rayment

Interesting and not stereotypical vampire stuff, tons of humor and hot sexy vampires. I Love Jeaniene Frost’s Books and her Bones is one hot guy!

Paige W.

Humor. Definitely.
That is one of the best parts of True Blood. True Blood’s cheesy goodness always gets a reaction out of me (usually shock, disgust, or laughs). Love it. Some of my (humorless) friends just don’t get my obsession.
Humor is a huge part of the Night Huntress series that I LOVE. The sparring and the one liners are always great!
Of course passion is a must, but some great humor will make me a fan for life!

alison b

I look for not only a good plot and a female that can handle her own but sex. There has to be some dirty parts in the book. That’s why I am obsessed with jeaniene frost’s books. Not to mention her men sound extremely hot! I read way too much…or just enough. Lol. My fav author will always be jeaniene. Her plots are captivating and the females kick ass.

Sharon

I love the alpha-male that gets his butt handed to him by some snarky female .

Viki S.

There needs to be an honest to goodness PLOT.
I love the viciousness of the vampire and the loyalty. Ms. Frost portrays these qualities in her vamps and I love it. The happy little vamp can only take me so far ;).
The mixture of all the other paranormal beings with the vampires is good too. Seeing how they interact is fun.

Luxuria

In paramornal romance I look for equal parts funny, shocking, painful, gruesome and romantic moments. The main female character has to be able to take care of herself, not be the damsel-in-distress, oh, and the wittier her remarks, the better. The male character(s) has to be a bad boy even if he only pretends to be – a strong character as a whole.
Looooove the steamy scenes but I can read and like a book which doesn’t have such…in the beginning. I’m a sucker for a bigger-than-everything love story, even if it ends tragically.
That’s why the Sookie Stackhouse, Anita Blake, Night huntress and Chicagoland vampire novels are my all time favourites. Adore them.

Lori billips

I have read all of jeaniene’s books and think they are paranormal gold. While true blood is away I have actually started exploring other authors not just in the vampire genre but for those that are I like frost’s of course and then an author named Patricia Briggs comes to mind while her books are based more centrally around a shape shifter their are some very interesting and sassy vamps thrown in the mix…I am always on the look out for more noteworthy authors and I think I found a slew of them on the paranormal underground blog. Very cool. Thx for the chance to win this amazing prize, lkb

Lashawn

I love day-walking vamps, and would like to see more vampire/werewolf interaction.

Michelle

I look for strong female leads, none of that “I broke a nail, where’s my hero to come rescue me?” stuff for me. I like the female characters to be able to rescue the male characters from time to time. A dash of realism in their personalities, and some sexy chemistry is exactly what gets me hooked on a paranormal romance. Jeaniene Frost and Ilona Andrews are brilliant at providing exactly that in their books, and I love them so for it! 🙂

Sharon A

I love anything vampires, as long as there isn’t alot of gore. Minimal gore is okay (dealing with vamps here!), but I want lot’s of action, with some humor and a good lovestory included and most of all a HEA!!

Kelli Hamill

teehee of course I can always re-read the series again and again for my fix!

Kelli Hamill

With True Blood being over…for now…I love to read any and all Vamp books I can get a hold of. Frost, Ward, and Harris genuinely know exactly what we want because they understand us completely. Give us blood, sex and drama and we are ON IT!! We dont really need to tell them what to do, if you got it you got it! Good job ladies, keep us panting and happy. Strong, kick ass vamps and a juicy story is all I will ever need!!!

Kat H

i am loving those books! i’m on Lover Avenged! (i already mentioned them here)

Kt

I love to see a strong heroine who doesn’t rely on her man to fight all the fights. I love for the woman to be strong enough to fight her own battles.

Jennifer Griffin

Now that True Blood is over, I’ll get back to what I was already doing – reading more Vamp books!!!! But, what I would like to see, is some kind of new mythology. I don’t know what (if I did, I’d write it myself LOL) but it would be cool to see something different than the same old stuff. That’s what Cat and Bones are to me; they are different from some of the other vamp characters currently prevalent in Paranormal Romance/Fantasy.

Martha

I’ve been reading some pretty amazing vampire books lately, like the BDB books! I love reading about amazing women seducing strong vicious vampires!

Kat H

oh HECK YES! (re: adding more Eric to True Blood books)

Renee

Something new and unexpected.Taking the ordinary and making it just out of this world addicting 🙂

Christine D

More blond vikings.

If someone like Eric popped up in more books, I would be all over that. …js. 🙂

Crystal

I love Jeaniene Frost’s Night Huntress series, my absolute favorite series ever.
What I would like to see more of? Hot brooding vampires =)

Addie

More thriller based vampire books that actually have an engaging plot. Enough already with all the “oh…he’s hot but something about him is “off”…ohhh he’s a vamp…will he bite me???” stuff. I prefer characters that have real issues and problems. Throw in some crime and danger or a true fight for good against evil by someone who most people think is evil…a vampire! Jeaniene Frost’s books are just that as are Adrian Phoenix’s books!!! They are my two favs!!!

Miranda

Q:Now that True Blood is over and you need something to fill the void, the hunger and passion that True Blood fed to us, what do you want or enjoy to see in paranormal romance books regarding vampires?

A: I am anxiously awaiting “Taken by Midnight” from Lara Adrians Midnight Breed series! I love her vampires!

elizabeth

SAD I love True blood but I enjoy reading hot sexy romances between the characters. Especially if the Hero is tall with dark hair dark eyes with a great body male. Yummmyyyyyyyyy

Lindsey Martin

Okay, Vampy books (aka paranormal romances) need to be sexy, strong and addicting! I totally LOVE Mrs. Frost’s books…I’m rereading them now! Sigh Bones!

Kat H

Q: Now that True Blood is over and you need something to fill the void, the hunger and passion that True Blood fed to us, what do you want or enjoy to see in paranormal romance books regarding vampires?

A: OMG I AM TOTALLY OBSESSED WITH THE BLACK DAGGER BROTHERHOOD SERIES!!!!!!!! I FLY THROUGH THE BOOKS. READING THEM IS FANTASTIC…OR SHOULD I SAY FANGTASTIC?! HOT, MESSED UP VAMPS, MEET STRONG/WEAK/LOVING/AMAZING WOMEN/VAMPIRES AND IT ALL LEADS TO FANTASTIC STORYLINES…BTW, THE “INTIMATE SCENES” OF THE BDB BOOKS ARE LIKE ENTIRE CHAPTERS…GO ON FOREVER…AND EVER…AND EVER….

I ALSO PLAN ON REREADING MY TRUE BLOOD BOOKS AGAIN TOO! XD

Sue

I want something unexpected, not just your run of the mill longing and bloodlust. And of course hot, mouth watering vampires.

DragonGem

Scarier vamps. The danger is very exciting.

Amy Willingham

More forbidden love, but in the sense that I would love to see it take place in the 16th or 17th century. I love stories set in an older time period plus there is so much you could do with the story. Plus some great historic battles are always wonderful to read about!

leanna

Sexy Hot Vampire Sex
