HBO has released new True Blood season 2 spoilers featuring FOUR new video clips from season 2 of Alan Ball‘s hit HBO TV vampire series True Blood. Each video clip has a brief explanation for the scene in the clip.
SCENE: Maryann meets Tara’s mother for the first time and stands up for Tara telling her she is a mother devoid of human compassion.

SCENE: Bill explains to Sookie the process of transforming Jessica into a vampire. Jessica learns that it was because of Bill saving Sookie that she had to be turned into a vampire as reparation for the one he had destroyed.
FEATURING: Sookie Stackhouse (Anna Paquin), Bill Compton (Stephen Moyer), and Jessica Hamby (Deborah Ann Woll)
SCENE: Jason is introduced by Orry to the famous Fellowship of the Sun leaders, the Newlins. He explains to them how he has been saved and feels God has a purpose for him. He tells them that their teachings having brought him from the darkness to the light.

SCENE: Eric tells Bill that his maker, Godric, is missing in Dallas. He needs Bill and Sookie to accompany him on a trip. He needs Sookie for this, and tells Bill that he will be taking her with or without Bill’s consent.

I was really disappointed to find that they did not go with Appius Livius Ocella as Eric’s maker. Instead of using what was potentially the most fascinating aspect of the book, a living creature from ANCIENT ROME, they just hint that he is 2000 years old, change his name to a non-Roman one, and call it a day. They should have kept the Roman portrayal of Eric’s maker, and they should have delved deeply into his memories from Ancient Rome.
