True Blood Season 3: Jessica Gets More Exposure

The True Blood rumor mill is spreading new information again. According to Watch with Kristin from E! Online, Jessica and Hoyt fans will be getting a larger dose of the young lovers. She says,

“Great news for you Jessica–Hoyt fans! HBO hasn’t responded to request for comment, but I’ve heard that plans are under way to create a series of Jessica-centric (Deborah Ann Woll) webisodes in support of the upcoming season three. The webisodes will tell the story of what happens when Bill‘s little baby vamp goes out into the big wide world on her own. Will she eat everybody? Will she be eaten? Tune in to find out!

Very interesting news, and it could be great to see this, but I want to reiterate that HBO has not yet verified this.

How do you feel about Jessica possibly getting webisodes? Would “minisodes” help you deal with the lack of True Blood until Season 3 starts in June?

I’m with you Antonio, bring on the snipets and trailers already for S3. Have to start watching S2 again Sunday, March 21st as I hear they are going to show sneak peeks of S3 either before or after the show like last year. YAY!! I’m seriously jonesing over here.

OK I thought by “exposure” they meant that Jess would have a couple of nude scenes this season…Silly me,huh? LOL Speaking of that, They should try and alternate who will have nude scenes in S3. We’ve already seen Jason,Bill and enough Sam!
I know some scenes of Eric are forthcoming Maybe some more of Sookie and Pam maybe?? I dont know wheather webisodes will be a good idea or not. I really dont think its neccesary. As for Me, I’d much rather see a 4 minute trailer of S3!!

YAY!!! I love Claudine and she plays a very important part in Sookie’s life. Love her. Can’t wait to see who is cast to play her. This is just getting better and better.

i would watch these, pass time by until the show starts. Will these be like CH short stories? seems like the will have the same purpose.. fill in the lives of the characters to where it starts in the season premiere…
Just some other news id like to mention…Aparantly Claudine the fairy will be in episode 3.7 “Hit the floor”, she appears to sookie in a vision with a mysterious warning…any1 else heard about this?

While Jessica webisodes would REALLY help us pass the time until Season 3 if now or soon is when they’re “airing” them, I have concerns. Would this advance Jessica’s timeline past where the first episode of Season 3 will start, because I assume the beginning of Season 3 brings us back to Sookie in the parking lot of the French restaurant–it wouldn’t just cut to two days later when she’s still wondering where Bill went. That would be silly.

I think they could fix this potential issue by airing Jessica’s adventures early as a kind of preview/teaser/whatever to Season 3, but leaving the footage in the episodes, too. We wouldn’t mind seeing these snippets twice, but it might be jarring for us to go through a couple of days with Jessica and then snap back to Sookie’s predicament on the night Season 2 ended. That’s just my take.
