I know I am a sentimental old fool but I want Sookie to forgive Bill because of all he did for her. Would Gran like Eric-I THINK NOT!!!! That is if she ends up with Eric like the books say. They are not following the book very well so you never know what could happen. Sookie can be a b*tch sometimes. I just wanted to reach into the computer and hug Bill.

I would hardly call her passionate… maniacally obsessive and desperate maybe but passionate is a bit of an under stretch to me.

I don’t want to spoil the books but it is a bit different in relation to lorena than from true blood.

From the books I can tell that season 3 is gonna be action packed! 😀

At first (although its obviously not) I thought it had something to do with Eric and the Queen but now I see Lorena going all ‘Misery’ on him.

Unless its someone entirely new but my best bet is on Lorena.

rudy’s the pretty boy of the platoon lol. i love alex his characters seem to be quite similar (obviously since alex himself is the common factor) but totally different at the same time. i love his calmness and composure lol. hes ones of my favourite actors now lol.

Hi Lois, I picked up the Peoples Sexiest men issue and Stephen and Alex are both in there!!!!!!
Stephen was named “Most Smoldering”, so well deserved!!!
Alex was named “Sexiest Bad boy”!Tpo much fun.
Did you maybe miss them!

I think we will see a lot more Eric (in more ways than one haha)
in season 3.I hope Alan Ball stays pretty much true to the books
cause Eric is so much more lovable,bad and hot in the books.I love his character in the TV show but boy oh boy he is sssssmokin
in the books.I love the way he calls Sookie lover and plants one on her when it suits him.
It will be a long wait for your American spring when season 3 starts but think of us Aussie Trubies we have to wait even longer.
Thank god for modern technology,I can down load as it screens in the USA.

I wanted to note that I saw the new People Magazine “Sexiest Men of 2009” and I was totally disappointed in it – I will give you that Johnney Depp and Brad Pitt are mature sexy men – but they left out all the gorgeous supernatural men in the television world – notable Stephen Moyer ( vampire Bill on Trueblood) Alexander (Vampire Eric on Trueblood) Ian (vampire Damon on diaries) and they did not even include the Supernatural hotties
Jensen Ackles ( Dean- Hunter) and Jared ( Sam-hunter) – I am shocked that the only one who made the cut was the Twilight
Vampire Edward – All I can figure is that they dont watch television – which has all the beautiful paranormal men.

Tara and Jason? Very likely Because if they were to get involved and she found out that He nixed her man Well There’s More Drama right there! Seeing More Eric is always a good thing!
Perhaps we’ll learn a bit more about Pam and how she came to be with him? Arlene and Terry expecting a surprise?
And Of Course, Sam Will he meet his real parents? does he have any siblings? does he have “wolf” blood in him?
Are there werewolves in his family? and what of the Weres Alcide and the others? What will they be like? Will we see them wolf out? Will Alcide try to take over the town as Maryann did? Will the weres feed a lot off of the townsfolk? Will Wolfbane and or garlic be Any protection?
Were a werewolf to bite or scratch Jason would He become 1?
So many questions! Cant wait till next summer!

Since Im 1 of the few pple who havent read the books but a devoted fan of the show…i would like to see Jessica getting fed-up with Hoyt’s Mother and turning her Fang-Hating Ass into a vampire. Naturally she would cause much death and destruction, forcing Hoyt to stake her evil ass!!! Now that would be something to watch.

I guess at this point all we can do is wait for tidbits and pieces in Dec. Particularly the Buzz on HBO. I wonder if HBO will offer Us fans a “First Look” at season 3 perhaps in Jan?
Would be nice. TB withdrawal…its a hard thing to deal with!
🙂 Its funny, I’ve tv for years many dramas many shows and yet I cannot seem to recall much Prior to watching TB…Isn’t That strange?? TB IS 1 of those rare tv shows that actually reaches out and grabs you with it’s storylines its writing and its performances by talented actors!
Its Really something! I feel happy And Sad at the same time
Happy that I’ve come to watch a really great show with storylines that keep me riveted and captivated…even if i sometimes cringe… And Sad that it will be So long until we see some new episodes. I feel as if i’d said Farewell to new and good friends. 1 thing is certain This is an experience I will Never forget! Craving for more “blood-work” goes on.

Does anyone know when the Season 2 DVD’s will be out – I pre-ordered but there was no date? Also can you give me the UTube or any other site where I can watch season 2 episodes now? I
have HBO on demand at home but I am traveling for the next few weeks so only have season 1 dvds and my computer- any help is greatly appreciated.
I was watching “Supernatural” dvds with my sons – not the caliber of Trueblood but interesting ideas about what kills vampires and other supernatural beings. Since I was told by a prodcer that knows Alan Ball and his writers that they do not take ideas from contributing writers ever – which is really disappointing because I’d be happy to sign a release and give them what I wrote to use as they wanted. But since that is the way it seems to be – I have decided to write some books about vampires and other supernaturals while Im waiting – I like your comments – Aloha

I am in agreement with most of you. LORENA has to go, and it would be awesome if they let Sookie be the one to stake her as she does in the book.

I do wonder about Jessica-this character (not the actress) has no real presence in the TB world. But I would lean to Lorena becuase in a recent interview AB states Jessica may be seen more, her story will have a greater focus.

I’ll go with Lorena for now and see what information and spoilers come about.

its bye bye lorena… it has to be. she’s dead by book 4 and i hope that they stick to the books by having sookie steak her for sure! why would Pam die…she never did anything wrong? or Hoyte ? that doesn’t make any sense all these characters you guys are referring to are still alive all the way to book 9.

Antonio – you said Daphne was evil but she was under the Maenads spell as was Eggs – she had no will – she was not a pet – she was A slave – by suggesting that Sam should meetbjer twin sister ( I made this up – not in book or show) I mean that Daphne was kidnapped and brainwashed by Mayrann – taken from her kind – the sister and cousin would be searching for her – this sister is also the sweet – pure one – the one who changes into the doe (the male cousin is a buck) – there could be a lot of fear for Sam but a huge attraction and more depth for shapeshifters – I hope you like this idea now that I explained it more – again thanks for saying I should be one of the writers for Trueblood – mahalo Lois

Thank you – it would be a dream come true for me to be a contributing writer to Truebloid and Mr Ball who I consider a genius – I was told that one has a better chance of becoming a vampire by a producer I know –
Than to get a chance to work with and write for the Truebloid show – but hope springs eternal in the heart of humans – so I offer up any ideas I have Mr Ball and his brilliant writers if they want them It would be a great honor.
This is the first time that I have felt that the film version is so many thimes better than the books – there is almost no comparison – the books are interesting but the show hypnotized us and is phenomenal –

I think I have read every book on vampires and supernaturals – Anne Rice and Charlene Harris I have read many times – usually books are better than shows/movies/tv but in the case of Truebloid the opposite is true – this series is so superior to the books that I had to force myself to reread them for reference sake –

I’m sure these discussions will last until at least next spring,huh? Personally, I think Sophie-Ann needs to go. And Maybe Pam (dont really like her character,anyway) Lorena,Maybe But we must remember this is The Show NOT The Books! AB and the writers are capable of doing a fine job in entertaining us!
If Anyone should “bite the dust” next year it should be a Were..As they are savage and unmanageable!! I like the Jessica storyline So I wouldnt want to see her go! As for Sam,Here’s a thought…Under different circumstances, If she wasnt such a Kook, Maryann and Sam might have made a nice couple. They are Both nice looking people and she did want him for a reason. The Wrong 1 I know!! If Maryann Wasnt So Crazy Maybe she and Sam could have been lovers. Of Course, I feel bad for Sam,Jason, and Tara It would be nice if each of them could find someone to truly love them. As for Daphne,Do Not mention that Bitch!! She was working for Maryann The Whole Time!!
She got to Sam so she could deliver him to Maryann!!

Eric needs to have had many lovers – he is 1000 years old after all – obviously one of them had to be Pam because he is her maker and they have a close relationship even now – I think a series of flashbacks for Eric in other earlier times with beauties even famous ones – would be spicy – he needs real women – not girls – Sookie is too small for him – she does nit make it physically with his body type and let’s face it we want to see as much of him as we see of Bill or Sam – so he needs hot taller women and better sex scenes
Even though I personsally prefer Bills type of man and body – no way Eric is not a great looking man and the more we get of each the better – I just think that fairy blood should not make it that Sookie gets all the males -especially the vampires
Jason needs to have more depth too – not just the cut body and fairy blood attraction – but sone depth without drugs – maybe with the wereanimals like in the books but a whole creature nit some partial thing
I know the book does not go there with Tera but I see her as a good witch hooking up with a powerful warlock – maybe the writers could go that way and not add an extra witch character and give Tara more depth too
also Sam needs another shape-shifter girlfriend – I like Daphnes twin coming to find her but finds Sam – not in the books but he deserves a girl who loves him really

Sophie Anne needs to go. I don’t like to see Eric’s character diminished because of that lunatic. Trueblood series needs to follow the books a little closer. After all Charlaine Harris is the original creator of that fantastic story. Bill needs to let the relationship between Eric and Sookie develops. Eric is absolutely amazing. I had read the book but I wasn’t watching the show until recently – Eric appeared I got addicted. Lorena can have Bill for a little while then she should die. Hahaha! Please don’t take Pam away she is one of Sookie’s buddy.

Lorena seems the obvious choice. Woman scorned and all. Of course there is the books as well that unfortunately takes the surprise away. I hope Alan keeps changing things up though. I love his changes from the books. Even Alex S. said the show should be different. So you never know who might be behind it.
Can’t wait for next season!!!!

Eric was not killed off in the books, he is returning in Book 10. You must be thinking of one of the other characters like Chow or Clarence.

it maybe eric or pam or the queen one reason is that eric was killed off in the books & the queen maybe killed off true blood because the queen is with sookie’s cousin & pam because she is loyal to eric he made pam. the queen & eric are worried that someone will find out their dealing in V blood that’s why they want bill out of the way.

I agree with you….I read the books first, so i was never team bill to begin with, I am a Team Eric kinda girl….actually, i think its pretty sad how they try to make Bill look all innocent and good in the show…

anyways, i agree that it’s Lorena….not just because of the books, but because she must have something to do with Bill’s disappearance in the finale!!

Although I am sooo glad Alan Ball does not follow the books which usually have stupid and inane reasns why Sookie rejects
Bill or Sam or anyone that is loyal to her – Alan usually gives us a realistic reason – If this holds true for next season then it will be Lorena (Bills Maker) who is ended and that would work – since it is time Sookie was loyal to Bill and saved him.
I hope that the Fairy connection is revealed soon because the books wait til like the 7th one and that makes the attraction everyone has to Sookie not make sense –

Humm, does Alan mean go as in become a vamp, or like die forever and be off the show? There are a few characters I’d like to be gone, but maybe that Preacher and his Wife of the “Fellowship of the Son” church? Maybe vamp Stan? How about Hoyt’s Mom, I do kinda feel sorry for her in a way, but she is kinda mean to folks! How do people feel?
