Alexander Skarsgard stars as Eric Northman in HBO's True BloodWhile we are desperately awaiting HBO’s announcement for the premiere date of Season 6 of True Blood, here’s something to tide you over.

This short film is directed by Fabien Baron and Olafur Analds wrote its score. It’s called ‘Provocations’ and stars Alexander Skarsgard (who plays Eric Northman in HBO’s True Blood). Provocations tells the story of a broken love affair. Suvi Koponen, stars along side Skarsgard as his love interest. The 10 minute film is designed to sell Calvin Klein’s Spring 2013 collection.

GUAPISIMO….this man doesn’t have to do anything.  It could have been 10 minutes of him just looking at the camera and it would have been perfect.

There is nothing provocative here. It is a well worn path that does nothing to ignite the mind or inspire the heart.  Beautiful images, to be sure, but beauty just for the sake of beauty is hollow, and boring beyond the first 30 seconds.  Give me something that will twist the fabric of my mind, something that will wake me from a sound sleep, something that will erase all thought and replace it with its own design… give me a reason to come back again, to watch it again, to devour it as a child devours candy – mindlessly, compulsively, with no thought of consequence – give me something I must consume over and over again just so I can breathe again.  Give me that which I have been forbidden… now that would be something to write about.
