Anna Paquin and True Blood Nominated For A 2010 Reaper Awards

Once again, True Blood has been honored with nominations this award season. First the Emmys, then the SCREAM awards and now online voting is open until October 1 for the Second Annual Reaper Awards, which honors the best horror/thriller DVDs and Blu Ray features.

Presented by Home Media Magazine as well as DreadCentral.com, winners will be announced on Oct 12 at the historic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. Winners are chosen by the fans and there are seven categories. A Best of Show will be selected and announced by judges the day of the ceremony. Not only are titles from the past year in the running, but upcoming titles are selected for an award. All titles were submitted by participating studios and the panel was narrowed down by experts in horror and DVD reviewers.

Out of the seven categories, True Blood Season 2 has scored 3 nominations, including Best Blu Ray Disc, Best Box Set of TV Show Collection, as well as a nomination for Trick ‘R’ Treat starring Anna Paquin under Best Theatrical Disc. To vote, head over to homemediamagazine.com.
