Kristin Bauer van Straten Supports Blood Drive at Dragon Con 2010
September 5, 2010
Where else would Pam be at Dragon Con? Of course, she is hanging out at blood donation rooms. Kristin Bauer van Straten stopped by on Friday for the Robert A. Heinlein “Pay it Forward” Blood drive. The goal for the organization this year is to draw over 3,000 units of blood. Kristin was able to tour the site and learn about the different types of donations, and the many ways that this blood can be used to save lives.
“It’s a natural thing that Pam would show up at the blood drive,” she said. “[Donating] is such a pure and selfless thing. I wanted to bring attention to it, and help break the record for this year.”
The details for the blood drive is at the Marriott Marquis on the Atrium Level in room A701-702 and A705-708. All donors are receiving a t-shirt and food goodies. Since this event is being done at Dragon Con, there could be other celebrities who could stop by and say hi!
Since we aren’t seeing Kristin as Pam tonight as least we know she is doing good things with her time. True Blood returns for the last time this year next Sunday for the Season Finale.

True Blood’s Panel at Dragon*Con
September 5, 2010
Though much smaller than Comic-Con, this year’s Dragon*Con featured a panel about True Blood that had Kristin Bauer van Straten, Nelsan Ellis, and Sam Trammell in attendance.
All three actors were in high spirits and joked about what we the fans will be seeing on September 12 during the Season 3 finale of True Blood, and we were told that “There’ll be blood.” Nelsan opened up to the fans, saying that he wasn’t the biggest fan of Lafayette having a love interest until he realized that it would allow him to show a more tender side to Lafayette.
Sam Trammell made a comment about “death” that he quickly retracted before talking about nudity on set. He said that he can’t remember whether or not Sam will be naked in the season finale. He also mentioned that his grandfather owned the land in a field he ran naked through in a previous episode of True Blood.
Kristin Bauer van Straten reminded fans that she can’t take credit for her awesome lines because she and the rest of the cast don’t have much creative input for True Blood. She also said,
“I’m not privy to what the writer and producers think, but apparently Pam in the books just gets… more important.”
The True Blood Season 3 finale is sounding like it’ll be quite a feast of story lines and action that will thrill fans and simultaneously make them go crazy while waiting for Season 4. It also sounds like there are a lot of stories left for our favorite True Blood actors to share as well. Maybe we’ll get lucky and hear them while they’re out promoting Season 4.

True Blood Season 4 Spoiler News and Season Finale
September 1, 2010
As fans anxiously wait for the season finale of True Blood set it air on Sunday, September 12, 2010 on HBO, spoiler news is being filtered out not only about the season finale but what we can expect to see for Season 4. Here are some spoiler scoop from various sources as they try to answer some fan questions. First from E!Online:
Benedict in New Orleans: True Blood please! Finale scoop!
I’m starting to get very frightened for our dear Sook (Anna Paquin). Something tells me Denis O’Hare’s promise that he’ll be “weeping tears of joy” may have to do with him walking in sunlight, and I’m also hearing Russell probably won’t be offed. Danger, danger, danger.Jalya in Kahala, Hawaii: Aw! I cannot believe the way Sam’s acting on True Blood. Tell me it isn’t permanent, please!
Sorry kiddies, but Sam Trammell tells me Sam’s not-so-pleasant adventures are just beginning and will extend far into True Blood’s fourth season. “I know one thing that’s going to happen with Sam [next year], which is taking it to a new level. It’s very cool.” The gang doesn’t even start shooting until November, so get ready for a long and painful off season. Sigh!
TV Guide Magazine gives us so more information regarding what we are going to see for Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis), Alcide Herveaux (Joe Manganiello), Pam (Kristin Bauer van Straten), Holly Cleary (Lauren Bowles), and Jesus (Kevin Alejandro) in the season finale and a glimpse into season 4.
“Nelsan Ellis (Lafayette) told TV Guide Magazine, saying we’ll find out why he and Jesus are so “spiritually connected.” Joe Manganiello promised, “Alcide will be back before the season’s up to take care of some unfinished business,” and Kristin Bauer said that vampire Pam will “do anything to save her maker [Eric].”
Sam Trammell (Sam Merlotte) says “somebody in Sam’s camp is in big trouble,” but wouldn’t specify if that someone is little brother Tommy. “This season leaves everyone with a bunch of cliffhangers, especially with my storyline. There’s something very serious, very hardcore that happens.”
Joe states that “[Creator] Alan [Ball] and the writers are busy writing Season 4 right now, so I’m dying to find out what happens,” he said. And Lauren Bowles (wiccan Holly) promised, “You will be seeing me a lot next season. As Alan has announced, next year is the year of the witch.”
“What they’ve written, there’s a lot of sparks going on,” says Kevin Alejandro. “Whatever happens next season should be pretty explosive.”

VIDEOS: The True Blood Cast Interviewed on Red Carpets
August 31, 2010
The night of the Emmy Awards is always filled with red carpet interviews of stars. This year, everyone was interviewing the cast of True Blood about several different things, including the Paquin/Moyer wedding and the infamous Rolling Stone Magazine cover.
In this first video, several members of the True Blood cast comment on the Rolling Stone Magazine cover that features Anna Paquin, Stephen Moyer, and Alexander Skarsgard. Many of the responses to the cover were about how the nudity is a “typical day at the office” for them. Marshall Allman takes it one step further to hilarious effect.
The next video has the cast commenting on True Blood and what could happen in the future, as well as Anna and Stephen’s wedding.
The next video has both former and current costars of Stephen and Anna commenting on their wedding and how wonderful it was while they were at an Emmys after party.
In the final video, Stephen discusses the rumor going around about him being cast as Dr. Doom in the next Fantastic Four movie. Though he denies knowing anything about it, Stephen sure blinks a lot while he discusses it. (Blinking rapidly can be a sign that someone is lying.)
